Playmobil Detectives: The White Kimono-17 (Final Ending)

Jeffrey, who has been possessed by the cunning yōkai, endeavoured to struggle out of Shaun's firm grasp. He started to pull his hair and scratch himself, in an attempt to harm the body which he possessed. Like a baby in a temper tantrum, Jeffrey kicked wildly and punched the air.

"I can't hold him much longer," shouted Shaun over the deafeningly shrill hisses of the yōkai. "Its strength is shockingly superhuman."

Taking out another one of the charms which her grandma gave her, as fast as lightning, Blythe stuck it on Jeffrey's forehead. Instantaneously, the yōkai let out a deep moaning roar and escaped Jeffrey's body, who fell down unconsciously onto the soft grass.

"Quick! Let's pull him back into the kekkai before the yōkai could start any more tricks," said Shaun as he and Blythe used all their might to drag their friend back into the safety zone.

Eventually, after seeing that it had no more living bodies to possess, and under the extreme pressure of the old monk's incessant chants, the yōkai gave in and possessed the little toy doll which was placed on the ground and designated for its possession. Then, the monk immediately changed his spell and proceeded onto the next step of the ritual - locking the yōkai inside the doll, which symbolised a human body and would act as a temporary home for the fetus ghost while it waited to move on to the next life. That step being done as well, the old monk bent down and picked up the doll, on the neck of which he wrapped a chain of Buddhist prayer beads. Afterwards, he placed the doll inside the Hokoro, on which the monk placed a seal, in order to prevent the yōkai from escaping.

At this moment, Jeffrey woke up, rubbed his eyes and sat up whilst holding his aching head.

"I am happy to see that your friend is conscious again," said the old monk to Shaun and Blythe. "Now, the ritual is complete, the haunting will stop. But you have to remember to worship it daily with sweets and desserts, basically whatever babies like. Otherwise, it might get angry." After he finished his speech, the monk turned around to go.

"Thank you so much, we will pass this onto the school," replied Shaun. Nevertheless, after turning his head, he perceived that the monk was nowhere to be seen. It was as if he had disappeared into thin air, without leaving any trace whatsoever. Blythe saw it too and the two of them exchanged knowing glances.

"C'mon, let's go, Jeff. I'll support you," said Shaun after perceiving that Jeffrey was well enough to stand up again. "Tiffany's waiting for us back at the hotel."

"This case took much longer than we had anticipated. It definitely had a wicked twist in the end," answered Jeffrey, putting his arm around Shaun for support.

"That only leaves us with one whole day to tour Tokyo before we return to London on the day after tomorrow," remarked Blythe. "Anywhere in particular you guys wanna go before we leave?"

"Uh, no, don't count me in, thank you!" responded Jeffrey dramatically. "I reckon I've had my fair share of this country already. I'd rather just stay in the hotel. Who knows when we'll encounter another yōkai?" All three of them laughed.
