Just as Andrzej had predicted, the T-Rex halted in front of the Brachiosaurus and began to attack its prey using its powerful jaws. Alarmed, the Brachiosaurus stood up on its hind legs in defense position to try and push away the predator.
"Oh no! Poor guy! It's gonna get eaten!" exclaimed Claire as she watched from behind the tree trunk and observed that the Brachiosaurus was beginning to become exhausted. "We should do something to help him!"
"No! If we come out of our hiding place, we're gonna get attacked instead, because we're much easier prey compared to the Brachiosaurus," retorted Andrzej. "Plus, this is just nature. We should just let nature be instead of interfering with it."
"You know what? This is just a game, if the worst comes to the worst, we die and we start again!" said Eliza. "But that poor creature can't."
"Let's go!" said Claire, grabbing hold of her axe.
Thus, the spies dashed in front of the T-Rex and shouted. "Hey, you, big bully! Why don't you pick on someone your own size?"
The T-Rex turned towards them and roared. Claire grabbed hold of this chance and agilely climbed onto the T-Rex's back from its legs and Eliza pointed Andrzej's spear at the predator.
After some time, the T-Rex discovered that it could not defeat the spies and decided to run away with its tail between its legs.
"Hooray!" exclaimed the spies, high-fiving each other.
"That'll teach ye not to mess with our friend!" shouted Claire.
In appreciation to the spies for defeating the T-Rex, the Brachiosaurus bent down and gently headbutted the spies, just like a little kitten.
"Awww, how cute," said Claire as she caressed its head. "You make me think of my cat - Tiffy. How I miss him!"
