今天就來教大家如何依Playmobil車牌號碼辨別發行年份！

Let's learn how to distinguish the year of release of Playmobil cars by its car number.

1. 前面的PM指的就是摩比人(Playmobil)的簡稱！

1. There would always be a PM at the front, which is an acronym of Playmobil (just like SF stands for Sylvanian Families)

2. PM後的兩個號碼就是出產年份，拿下圖這台露營車來當例子，它的是97，也就是1997年發行的喔！(如果要算海外版發行年份則要加1) 

2. After PM, the two digit number is the year of release, let's take the Camper Van 3945 at the bottom as an example, its two digit number is 97, which means it is released in the year 1997. (If you wish the calculate the year of release in other countries outside of Europe, you will have to add 1 to it)

3. 最後的四個數就是產品編號，此產品編號為3945，是3開頭的~從此處也能看出他是絕版品喔！因為現在新出的產品都是4開頭的了啦！(不過有時也會有特殊例子，下次再和大家詳細的解說如何用產品編號辨別發行日期吧！)

3. The last 4 digit number is the product number, this camper van in 3945, which starts with the number 3, meaning it is a discontinued item. All the new products now either start with 4 or 5. (But, as always, there are exceptions, next time we'll learn more about the secrets behind Playmobil's Product Numbers.)

****另外，若是想知道這部車子是否是用以前曾經使用過的模子(復刻版/再版)，只要把車子翻到車底(不好意思，這個没有照相)，然後在燈光下仔細看，就會看到此模子版權的年份；若是和這台車的車牌號碼顯示的年份不符，表示這台車的模子以前曾被某組使用過，這次可能只是換個配色，或是換些配件，等等，重新發行)****

****By the way, if you want to know if this car uses an older mould of another car, just simply turn the car over, and if you look closely under the light, you will see an imprint of the year when the mould is copyrighted. If those two years contradict, then it means that this car has used the mould of a previous item. ****

我們來舉個例子~Playmobil 麵包車4411的車牌號碼是 04 4411，代表它是2004年發行的。

Let's look at an example- the Playmobil Bakery Delivery Car 4411, it's car number at the front of the car is 04 4411, this means that it is released in Germany in the year 2004.

可是，若是將它翻到車底一看，下面顯示此模具版權的年份竟是1987年~這是因為這台車用的已不是新的模子，是用以前1988年曾經發行過的3211 城市家庭用車 的模子，只是車身顏色不一樣，而且車子用途也不同了。

But, after you flip the car over and look carefully, you will see that the mould copyright year is 1987! This means that this Delivery Car 4411 has used the mould from a previous set released in year 1988- the Family Car 3211, and only changed the colour and function of the car and re-released it!

可是，問題又來了，為何實際發行年份又和模子版權年份差一年呢？原來是因為模子是發行前一年去申請版權了啦！！

But, wait a minute, why is the mould copyright year one year different to the year of release of the car? This is because Playmobil always applies for the copyright one year before the product is released!

是不是簡單好上手哩？
