Playmobil Fairy Tales: Princess and the Pea III 摩比童話之豌豆公主外傳-3

伊莎貝拉和伊莉莎白靈機一動，想出了怎麼爬到高床上的方法～就是拿旁邊梳妝台的椅子墊著！

Isabella and Elizabeth found a clever way to climb up the tall bed- that is to use the stool beside the mirror!

於是，妹妹伊莎貝拉就幫姊姊伊莉莎白扶著椅子，好讓她爬上去。

So, Isabella helped Elizabeth to climb up the bed by securing the stool under her so she won't slip.

正當伊莎貝拉自己要爬上去時，她赫然發現床墊好像有些不平。於是，她彎下腰來仔細一看，竟然發現床墊下有一顆豌豆！

Just when Isabella was about to climb up the bed, she discovered the mattress to be uneven. When she bent down, she was astonished to discover that there was a pea under the mattress!

伊莎貝拉一氣之下大罵：「哼！這個皇后真是個欺人太甚、柿子挑軟的吃的心機女！竟然故意在床墊底下放豌豆讓我們晚上睡不好！」

Isabella exclaimed in rage: "Huh! This queen is such a wicked old witch, she must have placed the pea under the mattress on purpose so we cannot get a good night's sleep! How evil are her thoughts!"

伊莉莎白説：「矮油～妳怎麼可以這樣説人家呢！人家説不定不是故意的！況且，就算是故意的，對我們也没差啊！反正墊了這麼高的床墊，哪裡還會感覺到一粒豌豆呀？妳啊～就是凡事都斤斤計較，總是往壞處想，才會一天到晚都在生氣！好了、好了，別氣了！明天咱們還得早起趕路咧，不早點兒睡，明天怕爬不起來呢！」

Elizabeth replied: "Don't think of people in such a negative way! You never know if they did it on purpose or not, maybe it has been accidentally left there. Furthermore, even though it was done on purpose, it wouldn't harm us in any way. Who would be able to feel such a small pea under such a thick mattress? You are just always very narrow-minded and think everything in a negative way, no wonder you are always angry. Now, now, calm yourself down! If we want to wake up early to continue our journey tomorrow morning, we need to get a good night's sleep!"

當伊莎貝拉爬到床上後，便問伊麗莎白説：「姊～妳想嫁給王子嗎？」

When Isabella climbed onto the bed, she asked Elizabeth: "Lizzie, do you want to marry a prince?"

伊莉莎白答道：「怎麼突然間問這個儍問題？我個人是没甚麼偏好啦！可是咱們是公主，父王是不會允許我們嫁給不是貴族身份的人的................難道這又跟那顆豌豆有關？別告訴我妳還在想那個！？」

Elizabeth replied: "Why do you ask such a silly question? I, myself, don't have any particular preferences. However, don't forget, we're princesses! Do you think our father will permit us to marry anyone who doesn't come from a royal family? ..............What is this got to do with the pea? Don't tell me you're still thinking of that?"

伊莎貝拉説：「是呀，的確和豌豆有關！那個心機皇后該不會以為我們没聽過豌豆公主的故事，打算用這招來考驗我們是不是真正的公主，然後叫她兒子娶我們其中一人吧？哼～都老梗了還在用，就算要用也得換換豆子吧～不管是綠豆、黃豆、紅豆、蠶豆她自己隨便選一個，幹嘛跟故事裏的一樣啊？没創意！」

Isabella responded: "Yes, indeed I'm still thinking about that pea. Perhaps that wicked old witch presumed we haven't heard of the story of the Princess and the Pea and decided to use that pea in order to test if we're real princesses, and then tell her son to marry one of us? But why would she use a pea just like in the story? Why doesn't she use green bean, red bean, or anything other than a pea? She seems to be extremely in short of creativity!"

聽到這裡，伊莉莎白忍不住笑出來説：「妹妹～妳想像力還真豐富啊！還想到豌豆公主的故事去啦？若這真是一個考驗，且妳想嫁給那個王子，妳就照本宣科，明天告訴皇后娘娘説妳睡得不舒服不就好了？」

After hearing this, Elizabeth couldn't stop herself from laughing out loud: "You sure have a very good imagination to think of the story of the Princess and the Pea! If this really is a test, and you want to marry the prince, just copy what the story says and tell the queen you have not had a good night's sleep! Simple!"

伊莎貝拉趕緊澄清：「人家才不要嫁給連見都没見過的陌生王子呢！我只是在想～要如何氣那個老巫婆，告訴她我們知道她在耍甚麼花招，可是又不要中她的計呢？」

Isabella hurriedly denied the statement: "Who wants to marry a prince they haven't even met before? I was only thinking, how to inform that wicked old witch that we know what she's up to but not to fall into her trap?"

伊莉莎白一邊打著哈欠一邊説：「妳自己慢慢想唄！我要先睡了！」

Elizabeth replied whilst yawning: "Well, you can think about that all night if you wish! I am going to sleep!"

皇后娘娘放豌豆在床墊下究竟有何用意呢？難道真的是和伊莎貝拉所想的一樣嗎？

What exactly does the queen mean by putting a pea under their mattress? Is it really like what Isabella assumed?
