經過皇后娘娘的允許後，皇宮的士兵便趕緊幫兩名女子開門。

After receiving the permission of the queen, the guards quickly opened the gate for the two girls.

皇后還派了一名女僕帶她們去梳洗一下。

A maid led them to freshen up a bit.

梳洗完後，女僕帶領著她們去房間。

And afterwards, led them to their room.

她們一到房間後，嚇了一大跳～因為房間裏的床好高喔！

After entering the room, they were astounded to discover that the bed in the room was very tall!

伊莎貝拉(妹妹)看見女僕離開了之後便説：「哼！這豈是待客之道？給我們這麼高的床要我們怎麼爬上去睡呀？姊～他們一定是故意刁難我們～看我們好欺負！看那個皇后就像是個老巫婆，尖嘴猴腮的一臉刻薄樣！一想到就令人生氣！」

Isabella (the younger of the sisters), after seeing the maid walk out of hearing distance immediately exclaimed: "Huh! So this is how they treat their guest! How are we supposed to climb up there? I bet they are deliberately giving us a hard time! Look at that queen, doesn't she look extremely like a wicked, old witch with her skinny face and sinister smile? Her air makes me feel repulsive!"

伊莉莎白(姊姊)答道：「這也是没辦法的事呀！我們今晚有個下榻之地我們就應該很感恩了，我們一時也找不到別的地方啊。説不定他們也是臨時找不到更舒適的客房，只好給我們睡這間囉！高床也没甚麼不好啊，我還是第一次睡在這麼高的床上呢～一定會很有趣的。我走了一整天的路累壞了，我們去睡覺吧！」

Elizabeth (the elder of the two) replied: "Even if they are deliberately trying to give us a hard time, we couldn't do anything either! We should be very thankful that they provided us a shelter to stay for a night, as we have no other place. Perhaps they couldn't find a more comfortable room for us! There's nothing wrong with a tall bed, I haven't been on one before, it must be excessively amusing! Let's go to sleep, I am absolutely exhausted after the long walk today!

伊莎貝拉回應説：「姊～妳就是人太好了才會每次都被人家欺負還心甘情願。我真佩服你可以用這麼樂觀的態度去面對所有的事情耶！要睡覺是可以，我也很累了。可是這麼高的床我們要怎麼上去啊？」

Isabella responded: "You are just way too nice, no wonder you never complain about other people treating you unjustly. How can you maintain such an optimistic attitude to everything? I'm tired too, and long for sleep, but the question is......how do we get up there?"

皇后讓他們睡這麼高的床究竟是有何用意呢？

What exactly does the queen mean by giving them such a tall bed to sleep on?
