One rainy, summer afternoon, a group of friends met up at London Heathrow Airport, ready for their summer vacation trip to Busan, Korea.
"OMG! I totally need a vacation!" exclaimed Eliza. "This has been by far the hardest year at uni, and if I don't take this opportunity to get some time out, I think I'm gonna get crushed by all this stress soon."
"Yeah, I can't agree more," answered Claire, who studied at the same university as Eliza. "Thank you so much, Tiffany, for inviting us over to stay at your seaside resort! It's gonna be the best trip ever!"
"I betcha it'll be!" responded Tiffany, Claire and Eliza's high school classmate. "Our resort is one of the best in Busan! Oh yeah, and d'you guys remember Na-Young? The Korean girl from KS4 who moved back to Korea with her parents in Year 12? She lives in Busan!"
"OMG, really?" cried Claire. "We can totally go visit her! Although I don't really remember her. She was always very quiet and seldom talked, right?"
"Um, guys, are you sure you got our flight details right?" asked Jeffrey, Eliza's cousin, as he stared at the screen. "I don't see any flights to Busan."
"Jeff, you should be looking at flights to Taipei, not Busan," responded Shaun, Claire's elder brother and Jeffrey's university friend. "There are no direct flights from London to Busan, so we're transiting in Taipei."
"I can't wait to transit in Taipei," said Eliza after they arrived at the Air Playmo Business Class check-in counter and handed their passports to the ground staff. "The facilities at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport are among the best in Asia. Not to mention the staff there, who are always so friendly. No wonder why it's an international hub."
"Your boarding passes are ready!" said the lady at the check-in counter as she handed everyone their boarding passes after they've all checked in their baggages. "There are two tickets: one from London to Taipei, and another from Taipei to Busan. The boarding gate is at B8 and your boarding time is 6:40pm. I wish you a pleasant journey!"
After going through airport security, the group of friends arrived at the boarding gate, ready for boarding.
"Urgh! I can't wait to get away from this horrid London drizzle and embrace the warm Asian sunshine!" declared Tiffany whilst boarding the plane.
