Once upon a time, there was an old wizard who was especially fond of sweet things, whether it is cakes, doughnuts or just candies, he just couldn't resist any of them. However, he was afraid that people would judge him and deem it impertinent for such an old man like him to be eating sweets. Therefore, whenever he went to buy sweets, he always transformed himself into a little boy.
從前從前，有一位特別喜歡吃甜食的老巫師，不管是蛋糕、甜甜圈、還是糖果他都無法抗拒。然而，老巫師怕別人說他這麼老了還愛吃糖，所以每次要去買甜食時，他都會把自己變成一個小男孩兒。
One day, after hearing about a famous sweets store called the 'Candy House', which sold homemade sweets and pastry that were famous for being the best in town, he decided to transform into a little boy again in order to buy some sweets there.
有天，打聽到了鎮上最棒的甜點店叫做『糖果屋』並知道了地址後，巫師決定再次把自己變成小男孩去那裡買糖果吃。
On arriving at the door of the Candy House, the Wizard discovered that it was just an ordinary building. "Hmmmm, I thought it would be really fancy looking!" he murmured to himself.
照著打聽到的地址來到了『糖果屋』的門前，老巫師發現它和一般的甜點店沒什麼不同。「哼！我還以為會長得很花俏兒呢！」老巫師自言自語道。
After knocking on the door several times and no one came out to answer, he cautiously opened the wooden door and peeped inside. The sight which met his eyes was just absolutely astonishing. Inside different shelves in the store were all sorts of sweet things: cakes, biscuits, candies, lollipops, and doughnuts!
老巫師敲了好幾次門後，始終沒有人來應門。於是，他便小心翼翼地推開木門，往裏面一望。映入眼簾的景色讓他頓時呆住了。店內有著五花八門、琳琅滿目的甜點，不管是蛋糕、餅乾、糖果、棒棒糖、還是甜甜圈兒都應有盡有。
He was so amazed by this wonderful view that he quickly dashed into the store and started looking around.
老巫師迫不及待地衝進店裏，開始東張西望。
The wizard hopped from one shelf to another, just like any ordinary little boy would do if he was situated in such a magnificent place as this. The wizard took a bunny shaped biscuit from the shelf and went to look at the doughnuts.
他從一個展示櫃跳到另一個展示櫃，彷彿真的就是一個小男孩兒似的。巫師拿了一個兔子造型的餅乾後，又跑去看甜甜圈兒。
Then, he perceived a shelf next to the door containing different coloured candies and dashed towards it.
然後，他又被門旁邊的展示櫃裏色彩繽紛的糖果給吸引了，又往那裡跑去。
Just then, an old lady, the owner of the Candy House, came out from the toilet, who, having forgotten her spectacles in the toilet, seemed to have perceived the little boy holding a biscuit heading towards the direction of the door!
這時，一位老太太，也就是店主，從廁所裏走了出來。將老花眼鏡不小心放在廁所裏的老太太似乎看見了一個手拿著兔兔餅乾的小男孩兒正要朝著門的方向走去！
"Stop! Thief! Come back here!" The old lady screamed at the top of her voice and dashed towards the shocked wizard, who, having forgotten that he was holding a biscuit, ran out through the door!
「啊喲喂呀！有小偷呀！站住！別動！」老太太大聲尖叫後，並朝著小男孩（也就是老巫師的方向跑去）。被嚇了一大跳的老巫師不知所措，頓時忘記了手裏還拿著兔兔餅乾，就不顧一切地跑出了屋外。
