Playmobil Detectives: The White Kimono-7

Caused by Haru's curse, Yuki grew thinner and uglier by the day due to a consumptive disease, which gnawed on her, bit by bit. Giant spots and warts began to grow on her formerly beautiful face. As a result, Tatsuo had another excuse to shun her society more and more.

One day, Haru's curse worked, and Yuki died on the tatami dressed in her favourite white kimono. The unspecified illness had gradually drained her life away.

Soon after Yuki died, Tatsuo married Haru as he promised that he would do. On the wedding night, Yuki's restless spirit sat on what used to be her bed whilst her extreme resentment filled up the entire room.

"They don't deserve to be happy whilst I was so miserable before my death," thought Yuki hatefully. "They have taken everything I used to own away from me! This isn't fair!"

That night, a sudden fire broke out in Tatsuo and Haru's room, the cause of which was due to an overturned lamp. The ruthless fire spread across the entire mansion, killing everyone in the household, including all the servants and maids. When the firefighters eventually arrived at the scene, there was nothing left of the wooden house.

It was believed that it was Yuki’s phantom haunting the place. Thus, in order to stop the haunting, people then set up a place of worship, known as a Hokoro, on a rock in a corner of the mansion's garden to worship Yuki’s restless spirit, which had successfully stopped any future hauntings.
