"But, papa, what about our dinner?" Samira protested gently.
「可是，爸爸，那我們的晚餐怎麼辦呀？」莎蜜拉問道。
"Oh forget about dinner! This is more important, just you wait and see!" Alining responded as he got his carving knife out and started with his favourite job.
「別管晚餐了！那不重要！」阿里郎邊說話邊拿出雕刻刀，開始做他最喜歡做的工作。
Not long after, the skillful carpenter produced from the pile of 'magical wood', which was in fact Prince Pinocchio, a little puppet.
不久後，厲害的木匠就將「神奇的木頭」（其時是皮諾丘王子）雕成了一個小木偶。
"You will now be Samira's younger brother!" Alilang said as he was doing some finishing touches.
「你現在是莎蜜拉的弟弟了！」阿里郎說。
「可是，爸爸，那我們的晚餐怎麼辦呀？」莎蜜拉問道。

Pinocchio was extremely delighted that he could move again. After thanking the carpenter, he started bouncing around here and there, and sat by the fire to warm himself up.
皮諾丘超級興奮自己終於又可以動了。他和木匠道謝後便開始蹦蹦跳跳，並坐在火爐邊取暖。
Suddenly, he saw some smoke and was shocked to discover that his feet had started to burn! Alilang immediately dashed to his rescue by pulling him away from the fire and poured a bucket of water on his burning feet. Fortunately, the burning didn't harm Pinocchio.
突然，他看見不知從哪兒竄出了黑煙，才赫然發現原來自己的腳著火了！阿里郎趕緊將皮諾丘抓離開火爐邊，並用一桶水潑在皮諾丘的腳上。所幸他的腳並無大礙。
Pinocchio was extremely shocked that he didn't feel anything when his feet were burning, then, he remembered that he was now a puppet, and would therefore, be unable to feel pain.
皮諾丘非常驚訝自己的腳著火了竟沒有任何感覺，然後，才想起了原來自己現在是個木偶，所以不會有任何知覺。
On the following morning, Pinocchio, Alilang and Samira went out into the garden to play. Pinocchio discovered that the garden was full of flowers and they had a lot of fun playing hide and seek.
隔天早上，皮諾丘、阿里郎以及莎蜜拉到花園裡去玩。皮諾丘發現花園裡有好多美麗的花朵，並玩捉迷藏玩得好開心。
"I had never had so much fun since the death of mama!" Samira grinned.
「自從媽媽去世後，我從來沒那麼開心過呢！」莎蜜拉笑著說。
Suddenly, Pinocchio picked a beautiful flower from the garden and gave it to Samira.
"Oh! Samira, from the moment I set eyes upon your sweet little face, my heart cannot help but to fly to your side, will you accept my love and marry me?"
突然，皮諾丘摘了一束花，地給了莎蜜拉。「噢！親愛的莎蜜拉，自從我看見你那張可愛的臉蛋以後，我的心就飛到你那裡去了。你願意接受我的愛嫁給我嗎？」
"Don't be silly! You can't marry at this age! How long do I have to wait until you can? And besides, remember, now that you're my younger brother, we cannot marry! Moreover, papa will soon marry me off to someone, which I have been refusing for the past months. But now that he has you to keep him company, I will not be worried about him anymore, and will be contented to settle down and have my own family."
「別傻了！你這麼小還不能結婚好嗎？那我該等多久啊？還有，別忘記了，你現在是我弟弟耶，我們怎麼結婚呢？更何況爸爸不久後就要把我嫁人了，這幾個月我一直拒絕他的提議，現在有了你可以陪伴他老人家我就不擔心了。如此一來，我就可以放心結婚了！」
"No, Samira, I will prove to you that I am not just a little puppet soon, please give the chance of proving that I am worthy of your love!" Pinocchio promised Samira, who seemed unconvinced.
「不，莎蜜拉，我一定可以證明給你看我不只是個小木偶。請你一定要給我機會證明給你看我值得你的愛！」皮諾丘說。
Little did they know that, all this time, their actions had been secretly spied on by the wicked sorcerer Mamahuhu, who had immediately begun to form a villainous plan inside his sinister mind.
他們所不知道的是，他們剛剛的一舉一動都被躲在暗處偷窺的邪惡法師馬馬呼呼給看到了。他腦海裡立刻開始策劃一個邪惡計劃。
