At midnight, whilst the inhabitants of the entire castle was asleep, the sorceress climbed up to the tallest tower in the castle and began to chant a spell. Gradually, a green mist began to envelope the entire castle, as if trying to suffocate its inhabitants.
The green mist crept into the respective rooms of each prince through the window and wrapped around their bodies in their sleep. Instantaneously, when Narcissa has ceased her chanting, the mist disappeared, leaving the princes lying on their beds, in the form of swans. In fact, Narcissa's spell had changed all the princes into swans, all except for Prince Javier.
In the morning, each prince, after discovering that he had been transformed into swans, flew out of his room into the lake situated in the royal garden, only to discover that he was not the only one. The five princes congregated in the lake and began to discuss about their queer encounters.
