Chapter 3- Rescuing the Giant Rabbit (Part I)
第三章～拯救巨兔（第一話）
It was only the third day since Victor (now Victoria) had started his journey to the East and he was already fed up of it. He was walking on a path on a farmland, being careful to always follow the direction of the sun as the Fairy Queen had indicated, and was complaining to himself again.
維特的『東遊記』纔進行到第三天，他就已經完全厭倦了。他正走在一個農田的道路上，仔細地確認自己正往太陽的方向前進後，便又開始抱怨了起來。
"My feet hurt so much! If they're gonna tell me to go walk so far, at least they should provide me with comfortable shoes, and not these ridiculous high-heels. I've never known that wearing high-heels could be such a pain for girls! And I can't take them off as I have no alternatives. Urghhhh!" Victor mumbled under his breath as he stomped on the ground.
「我的腳好痛啊！如果他們叫我走這麼多路，至少也該給我一雙好走的鞋嘛！穿這雙破高跟鞋要怎麼走啊？我以前從來都不知道原來女生穿高跟鞋這麼累！但是我脫了它又沒別的鞋子可以穿！真討厭！」維特邊走邊喃喃自語道。
Suddenly, he perceived a tiny voice coming from somewhere, "Help.....!" The voice said. Victor immediately stopped, glanced around, but was unable to see anyone in sight.
突然，他聽到了一個細小的聲音從某處傳了出來：「救命呀！」維特馬上停下腳步，四處張望了一番，但是並沒見到聲音的主人。
"Oh, well! It must have been my hallucination again, I swear this sun is killing me!" Victor started to groan again and was about to start walking when he heard is again!
「一定又是我的幻覺！這種烈日之下沒有幻覺纔怪哩！」當維特又開始碎碎唸時，又聽到了那個聲音。
"Help! Somebody help me!"
「救命呀！誰來救救我啊？」
This time, Victor was absolutely certain that it was not disown imagination, and, overtaken by curiosity, decided to follow the voice in order to find its owner.
這次，維特篤定不是自己的幻覺後，好奇的決定跟著聲音的方向走去一探究竟。
He walked some miles into a farmland, and, although the voice did seem to get louder, the owner was still nowhere to be found. In fact, as Victor turned into this oversized mouse, his hearing became more acute, so was able to detect voices from much further than his capability when he was still a human.
他往農田的方向走去後，雖然聲音的確有愈來愈大聲，但是始終沒有瞧見聲音的來源。事實上，當維特變成了巨鼠後，他的聽力也變得比以前敏銳的多，所以在很遠處的聲音他也聽得見。
At last, behind some long grass that were yet to be mowed, Victor saw a huge rabbit wearing a blue overall and a shirt sitting on the grass, with its hands and legs all tied up.
終於，維特在一些長草區看見了聲音的主人～一隻穿著吊帶褲的巨兔坐在草地上，手腳都被用繩子綑綁了起來。
As Victor approached the rabbit, it stared at Victor and said, "What took you so long to get here? I heard you coming a long time ago, which was why I kept yelling "help!". Do you think I would bother if I knew no one is here?"
巨兔看到了維特後說：「你在那兒拖拖拉拉的幹嘛呀？我很久之前就聽到有人經過了，不然我還會儍儍的在這裡叫啊？」
Victor was absolutely stunned by the gigantic rabbit's words, this was the first time that he had met someone ruder and more impatient than himself. Victor just stood there, with his jaw slightly ajar, staring at the strange creature in front of him.
維特被巨兔的話嚇了一跳，這是他第一次遇到比自己更沒禮貌、更沒耐性的人。維特嘴巴張的開開的站在那裡，凝視著眼前的奇怪生物。
"Didn't your mother teach you that staring is impolite?" The rabbit spoke again with its flat voice, "What are you doing there? Quickly, come and untie me! We don't have all day, you know. The Snake Faerie will be back in no time!"
「你媽媽難道沒教你：助人為快樂之本嗎？」巨兔用又他那扁扁的聲因說：「還愣在那裡幹嘛？還不趕快幫我解開繩子。我們沒有時間了，蛇精等會兒就要回來了！」
Victor quickly dropped his red bag containing the 'mysterious item' onto the ground and helped the humongous rabbit untie the ropes, as he was proceeding with this action, he couldn't help but to ask, "How.....how can you talk if you're such a giant rabbit?"
維特趕緊丟下裏面裝有『神秘物體』的紅色包包，幫坐在地上的巨兔鬆綁，一邊鬆開繩子，維特不禁好奇的問道：「你是巨兔，為什麼會說話呀？」
After he was untied, the rabbit just patted the dust off his clothes and replied calmly, "What a silly question to ask! Look at yourself, aren't you also a huge mouse and can also talk, too, yourself? You must also be another handiwork from the Evil Enchanter of the East?"
當巨兔被完全鬆綁了後，起身將身上的土拍掉，用淡定的語氣回應道：「你問這是什麼可笑的問題呀？你看看你自己～不也是隻會說話的巨鼠嘛？我想你應該也是邪惡的東方魔法師的傑作吧？」
Victor, who had completely forgotten about the fact that he was now an oversized mouse, looked down at himself and remembered, "True! But my case is different from yours! Did you say that the Enchanter of the East turned you from a human into this? So, are you implying that he's evil?"
完全忘了自己現在是巨鼠的維特看了看自己後說：「真的誒！但是，我跟你不一樣！你剛剛說是東方魔法師把你從人類變成這樣的，所以意思就是說他是壞人嘍？」
"You do not seem to know anything, do you? I am starting to get annoyed by your ignorant questions." The rabbit frowned at Victor, "First response: No! I was not turned from a human into my present form, I was originally a rabbit, a normal one that you would see playing in the fields. Second answer: Yes, that evil man did turn me into this. Third reply: I'm not even gonna answer it, as it is quite obvious that the answer is positive! Understand?"
「你真的是什麼都不懂又愛問誒！」巨兔皺著眉頭說。「第一個答案：不！我不是從人類變成這樣的。我原本就是一隻兔子，但是是一隻正常的兔子。第二個答案：是的，是那個邪惡的人把我變成這樣的！第三個答案：我都懶得回答了！很顯然的他是個壞人。這樣理解了嗎？」
The rabbit, after pausing a while but seeing Victor just staring at him blankly again, continued, "I do not want to talk about that man anymore. Let's change a topic! What's your name? My name is Richard the Rabbit, not very nice to meet you!"
巨兔看見維特儍儍的看著他後繼續說：「好了，我不想再講那個人了！我們換個話題吧！你的名字是什麼？我叫『兔理查』。很不高興認識你！」
Victor shook the extended arm of Richard and replied, "He....hello! My name is Victor......" Then, he suddenly remembered that he was not supposed to let other people know his real name, quickly added, "ria!"
維特握了一下兔子伸出來的手後回答道：「你...你好！我的名字是維特......」然後，他忽然想起了仙女皇后的叮嚀不能將自己的真名讓別人知道後，趕緊說：「維多利亞！」
"Victa-rhoea? Well it is one strange name that you have!" Richard commented.
「維特維多利亞？這什麼奇怪的名字呀！？」理查評論道。
"No, no, no! It's Victoria!" Victor quickly explained.
「不不不！是維多利亞！」維特趕緊解釋道。
"Oh my lord! I've met someone who doesn't even know her own name!" Richard did a face palm and was about to comment on something again when he exclaimed in fear.
「我的天呀！我怎麼遇到了一個連自己的名字都不知道的人呀！」理查摸著頭正準備評論時，突然發出了驚恐的叫聲。
Oh no! The Snake Faerie is back!
噢，不！原來是蛇精回來了！
