Chapter 4- Shorengo- A Miniature Wonderland (Part I)
第四章～小人國（第一話）
"Okay, let me get this straight!" Victor, after listening to Richard the Rabbit for some time, became a bit annoyed by his constant mumbling, said. "So you were saying that the Evil Enchanter of the East captured your son and turned you into this......this huge form of a rabbit? Hmmmm.....looks like he is worse than I thought."
「等一下！」維特聽完了兔理查的故事後開始對他不停的碎碎唸感到十分厭煩，然後說：「所以你是說邪惡的東方魔法師將你的兒子抓走了，然後把你便成了這副模樣？哼.......看來他比我想像中的還壞嘛！」
"No, indeed not, Miss Victoria!" Richard replied as he carried Victor's red bag for him.
「是呀，維多利亞大小姐。」理查一邊幫維特拿著他的紅袋子，一邊答道。
By then, Richard had discovered that Victor's temper and tantrums were worse than him, and in order to thank Victor for saving him from the Snake Faerie, resolved to call him "Miss Victoria" from now on. Actually, it took a while for the giant rabbit to get used to this bad-tempered enormous mouse, it wasn't until a little incident that made him make up his mind.
理查不久前才發現原來維特的脾氣比自己的還更壞，而且爲了感謝維特從蛇精那裡救了自己一命，便開始稱呼他為『維多利亞大小姐』。其實，理查剛開始也很不習慣這隻壞脾氣的巨鼠，是經過了一件事情後他才決議要如此稱呼他的。
One day, they were walking and he suddenly asked. "What's your name again, huge mouse?"
有天，他們正走在路上時，他忽然間問道：「你的名字是什麼呀，巨鼠？」
Victor, who had gotten a bit fed up of Richard's bad memory (as it was the third time he was asked that) and was irritated by himself always replying "Victor" instead of "Victoria" suddenly bursted into another tantrum and screamed at the top of his voice, "My name is Victoria! Victoria! Victoria!" in such a way that Richard became quite taken aback by his manner and started to show him all the respect that he had ever shown to anyone in his entire life.
維特被理查的健忘氣得牙癢癢的（因為這是第三次他被問這個問題了），然後也很氣自己老是會習慣性的回達『維特』，於是便又開使發起了脾氣大叫道：「我的名字是維多利亞！維多利亞！維多利亞！」他把理查嚇了一大跳，於是，理查便從此後對他畢恭畢敬。
"Look, Miss Victoria, we seem to be getting near a village." Only when Richard pointed it out did Victor suddenly look up. What came into view was a sight that could not be described by any phrases he knew. They found themselves to be walking towards a village that had beautiful Oriental architecture.
「維多利亞大小姐，妳瞧，我們似乎慢慢接近了一個村莊了呀！」這時，進入『心的旅程』的維特才忽然抬起頭，發現映入眼簾的景色根本就是筆墨都難以形容的美景。好山好水的中央竟是一個全部都是精美東方建築的村莊。
Then, as they got closer, they discovered that the buildings were smaller than usual, and they perceived a whole bunch of people in front of them at the entrance of the village, as if waiting for them. Some of them bowed down to them, and others quietly whispered something to each other with expressions displaying not only amazement but also awe.
他們走進一看後，赫然發現建築物比一般的都小，然後，他們注意到一群人在村莊的入口，似乎在等待他們的到來。有些人鞠著躬，有些人則是在一旁交頭接耳，不知在說什麼。不過，他們的共通點就是臉上都掛著驚訝的表情。
Then, they saw a short man wearing white clothes walking towards them, with two short guards behind him. No wait......they weren't short compared to the others, as the entire population of the village seemed to be smaller than the norm. Victor suddenly felt himself to be extremely tall, a feeling which he never had as he was only a ten-year-old boy back in his world.
隨後，一位矮小、穿著白色衣裳的男人緩緩朝他們走來，身旁還跟著兩個同樣也矮小的士兵。不.....他們跟其他人相比並不會特別小呀！事實上，整個村莊的人似乎都比正常人還要小。維特忽然感到自己好高大噢，這是他以前從來都沒有過的感覺，因為他在他的世界裏還是個十歲的小男孩。
"Welcome to Sharengo, my empire, giant.....erm......people." The man in a white dress, who was obviously the emperor welcomed Victor and Richard wholeheartedly. He was standing on a step, and even after that, he was barely as tall as Victor. "This is my wife here." the emperor said, as he pointed to a beautiful lady, who bowed to them in a foreign posture, that looked so delicate and exquisite that she looked quite like a living doll.
「歡迎來到小人國！」穿著白色衣服的男人誠心的邀請他們，很顯然的他是這裡的皇帝。雖然他站在一個台階上，但是還是沒有維特高。「這是我的內人！」皇帝指著站在一旁，長得細緻到簡直像一個活娃娃似的女人。皇后和他們鞠了一個躬。
"It seems like our mighty god is right again!" The Emperor continued, "There are indeed huge.....erm...people coming our way! We will treat you with the best luxuries we can, my guests."
「看來我們萬能的天神又說對了！」皇帝繼續說。「真的有.....誒.....巨人來我們這裡呀！我們一定會用這裡最奢華的東西給您享用的！」
After he finished, he personally led them further into the village.
說畢，他親自帶領著他們前往村莊的深處。
"Wow, it's a nice feeling being tall!" Victor thought to himself as they followed the emperor to a large building, which, after the emperor's explanation, was said to have been especially built for them, awaiting their arrival.
「哇！比其他人高的感覺還真好！」維特一邊跟著皇帝，一邊想著。不久後，他們看到了一個比別的建築物都大的房子，經過了皇帝的解釋後，他們才知道原來這是特別為他們建造的。
