Without warning, a man whom Claire and Eliza could only view the back seemed to have appeared out of nowhere, offering the two little girls a drink. "I'm sorry, sir, but mummy says not to accept anything from a stranger," replied little Claire in her childish tone.
毫無預警的，一名陌生的男子不知從哪裡冒了出來，並拿著飲料要給兩個小女孩喝。他背對著窗户，所以 Claire 和 Eliza 只能看見他的背影。「叔叔，很抱歉。馬麻說不能隨便接受陌生人的東西。」小 Claire 用著童言童語說。
"It's okay, me and your mummy know each other very well, why, I am the owner of this convenience store. I'm sure she won't object to that," the stranger persevered.
「沒關係的！我和你媽媽認識啊！而且，我是這間便利店的老闆耶！我想，她不會反對的啦！」陌生人答道。
"Is it just me, or does that voice and figure sound familiar?" Claire whispered to Annie, who didn't seem to share the thought.
「是我的錯覺，還是我覺得這個人挺眼熟的？」Claire 對著安妮小聲說，可是安妮似乎不太認同。
"OMG, I think I know who he is!" Cathy gasped, "It's Dr Dickinshfirtz in disguise!"
「噢買尬！我知道他是誰了！」凱西驚叫道。「他就是易容後迪肯弗博士！」
Nonetheless, everything was too late. As the girls peeped in from the shop window, they stared in horror at the two numb bodies lying on the floor in the store, with the drinks spilled beside them. Oh no! The little girls had fallen for the trick of the evil doctor, and had taken a sip of the drinks he offered, which contained a dose of sleep pill!
然而，一切都太遲了。女孩們從窗外往內看時，赫然發現兩個小女生已經躺在了地上，旁邊是打翻了的飲料。糟了！邪惡博士的奸計得逞了～小女孩喝了含有安眠藥的飲料！
Just as Cathy and Annie were about to rush into the shop, they perceived a loud laughter from the sinister doctor, and stared in terror as he disappeared along with the two little girls.
正當安妮和凱西準備衝進店裏時，她們聽到了從博士那兒傳出了刺耳的笑聲。隨後，博士和小女孩就瞬間消失地無影無蹤了。
"Grandma, what should we...." Before Cathy could finish her sentence, she whirled around to perceive that Claire and Eliza had also disappeared along with Dr Dickinshfirtz and their younger selves! In fact, as the doctor's plan succeeded, which was to kidnap the young Claire and Eliza and imprisoning them for life in his laboratory, the future lives of Claire and Eliza would also be affected, hence they would, thenceforth, disappear from any future events happening after their kidnap.
「阿嬤，我們該....」凱西還來不急說完，她就轉身發現 Claire 和 Eliza 也消失了！事實上，怪博士綁架 Claire 和 Eliza 並將她們永遠監禁他的實驗室的計畫成功後，未來的 Claire 和 Eliza 的生活也會被影響。因為，從她們被綁架那一刻起，她們將會從所有未來的事件消失。
"We have to do something to save grandmas," said Annie with determination after she had gotten over her shock, "We will have to return to the moment before they walked into the store, and, somehow, distract them so they wouldn't enter."
「我們一定要救出阿嬤！」安妮稍稍平靜下來後堅定地說。「我們得回到剛剛她們還沒進去店裏前，然後，用某種方法轉移她們的注意力，防止她們在進入店裏。」
"But wouldn't that be violating the laws of Time Travel, as we have changed something in the past?" Cathy inquired.
「可是，如此一來，我們不就違反了時光旅行的規則了嗎？因為我們試圖改變過去。」凱西問道。
"No, I don't think so," responded Annie, "As it was Dr Dickinshfirtz that first violated the laws, so, technically, we're just trying to change it back. Anyhow, that's our only hope to save grandmas, or else, they'll be imprisoned in Dickinshfirtz's lab for the rest of their lives, which means that we'll soon disappear too, as then, they wouldn't be able to marry, give birth to our parents, and mama and papa wouldn't meet!"
「我不這麼認為。」安妮答道。「因為是迪肯弗博士先違反了規則，而我們只是想把它改回原本所發生的事情罷了。再說，這是我們唯一能拯救阿嬤的希望了。要不然，她們可是會被終身監禁在博士的實驗室裏。而且，這也代表我們很快也會跟著消失。因為這意味著阿嬤們就不會結婚，不會個別生下我們的父母，這樣爸媽就不會遇到了！」
"Okay, this is more serious than I thought!" replied Cathy, "But whatever we are going to do, we'll have to be quick. As we have to succeed before the doctor gets back to his laboratory. Before everything becomes be irreversible."
「這比我想像的還要嚴重！」凱西答道。「但不管我們要做什麼，我們都得趕快。我們得在博士回到實驗室前成功。這樣才不會造成無法挽回的事情發生。」
And that was exactly what the two girls did, they re-entered the Time Machine and got back to where they were hiding behind the trees, onlooking the little Claire and Eliza walking in to the convenience store, but this time, without their grandmas. What will they use to distract the children, and will they succeed this time?
她們的確就這麼辦。兩人回到了時光機，並又到了她們之前躲的樹叢後面，看著小 Claire 和 Eliza 正要走進便利店。這次，沒有阿嬤們的協助，她們究竟能否順利的成功呢？
