"Your Majesty, it was all my fault!" Queen Sabrina kneeled down as she screamed, "I ordered Narcissa to turn them into swans." Sabrina decided to cover up for her maid, as she knew Zelda did this all for her. The five princes dashed to their stepmother and tried in vain to pull her up.

"You WHAT?" yelled the king as he leapt out of his throne and pointed an accusing finger at Sabrina. Without warning, he clutched his heart and screamed, then lay on the cold, stone floor, as dead as a dodo. In fact, in his fit of rage, the king had a heart attack that killed him on the spot. Everyone looked on in horror at the deceased king, the five princes bursted into tears.

隔天早上，王后走進客廳，看到兒子在整理荊棘，準備開始編織背心救哥哥們。這時，蔡爾達前一晚的話在王后的腦海裏迴盪著：「祇有讓哈維爾王子殿下當上國王，娘娘以後纔會有好日子過。」於是，王后便明知故問道：「小維，你拿荊棘要做什麼啊？」

哈維爾没有回答，只是搖了搖頭，並露出了失望的眼神。「難道他知道這些都是蔡爾達的主意，所以他在譴責我没有阻止她？他要是知道這些都是爲他著想就好了！」頓時，女巫的話浮現在王后的腦海裏：「⋯⋯切記，在編織背心時，絕對不能說話，哪怕只有出聲，詛呪都會變得永遠無法破除⋯⋯」

這時，一個壞念頭吞噬了王后的良心，她心想著要是詛呪眞的永遠無法被破除，那該有多好啊！「小維，回答媽媽呀～你到底在做什麼？你看！你的手都流血了！快停止啊，小維！停止啊！我以媽媽的身份命令你現在就停止。」王后看到了兒子的鮮血將荊棘都染紅了後便開始啜泣。「拜託你，小維～快點兒停止啊！你這樣不疼嗎？」王后邊喊邊想：「這一定是老天爺要懲罰我，我不該這麼貪心和没安全感。請不要再讓我的小維受苦了！」

Le lendemain matin, Sabrina entra dans le salon pour découvrir que son fils s'était occupé à ramasser un tas d'épines et de chardons, prêt à commencer à tricoter le gilet qui était nécessaire pour ramener ses frères.

Les paroles de Zelda de la nuit précédente faisaient écho dans l'esprit de Sabrina: "Ce n'est qu'en laissant le prince Javier devenir le roi que vous pourrez vivre en paix." Sabrina, sachant très bien ce que faisait son fils, s'approcha et demanda: "Javie, que fais-tu de ces chardons et de ces épines?"

Cependant, Javier ne répondit pas, il regarda simplement sa mère et secoua la tête, un air de déception dans ses yeux. "Est-ce qu'il sait que c'était Zelda qui l'a fait? Est-ce qu'il me réprimande de ne pas arrêter Zelda ... oh, seulement s'il savait que c'était tous pour son bien." Puis, les mots de Narcissa résonnèrent dans son esprit: "... en tricotant la veste, la tricoteuse ne peut pas parler ou prononcer un seul mot, sinon la malédiction ne pourra plus jamais être brisée..."

Puis, une pensée malveillante consuma la reine Sabrina en espérant rendre la malédiction irréversible: "Javie, réponds à maman, qu'est-ce que tu fais? ... Tes mains saignent des pointes des épines, arrête, Javier, ARRÊTE! En tant que votre mère, je t'ordonne d'arrêter! " Puis, elle se mit à sangloter en apercevant le sang de Javier qui entachait les épines: "S'il te plaît, arrête, Javie, arrête, tu te fais mal!" Sabrina faillit crier en pensant à elle-même: "Cela doit être la punition de Dieu pour moi, pour ma cupidité et mon insécurité, s'il vous plaît, laissez Javie ne souffrir plus."

The next morning, Sabrina entered the parlour to discover her son busily picking out a bunch of thorns and thistles, ready to start knitting the vest that was required to bring back his brothers. 

Zelda's words from the previous night echoed in Sabrina's mind, "Only by letting Prince Javier become the king can you live in peace." Sabrina, knowing very well what her son was doing, walked closer and enquired, "Javy, what are you doing with those thistles and thorns?" 

However, Javier did not reply, he merely looked at his mother and shook his head, a look of disappointment in his eyes. "Does he know that it was all Zelda's doing? Is he reprimanding me for not stopping Zelda.....oh, only if he knew that this was all for his own good." Then, Narcissa's words echoed in her mind, ".....whilst knitting the vest, the knitter cannot speak or utter a single word, or else the curse can never be reversed again...." 

Then, a malevolent thought consumed Queen Sabrina as she persisted, hoping to make the curse irreversible, "Javy, reply to mama, what are you doing? Look! Your hands are bleeding from the spikes of the thorns, stop, Javier, STOP! As your mother, I command you to stop!" Then, she started sobbing as she perceived Javier's blood tainting the thorns, "Please, stop, Javy, stop! You're hurting yourself!" Sabrina nearly screamed as she thought to herself, "This must be God's punishment for me, for my greed and insecurity. Please let my Javy suffer no more."

隔天早上，國王發現了王子們都不見後，便召集全王宮的人，一一詢問，看有没有人知道他們的下落。 王后有預感整件事情和女僕蔡爾達脱離不了關係，於是便一直偷瞄她。然而，女僕仍然不動聲色，直視著前方；等大夥兒都解散後，纔對國王提議道：「陛下，您不妨問問鼎鼎大名的那西莎女巫？」

於是，那西莎立馬被召來詢問：「偉大的那西莎女巫，告訴本王，我的兒子們都去了哪裏了？」

女巫看了一眼蔡爾達後答道：「回陛下：上週我就在水晶球裏看到了王宮將陷入烖難，果然不出我所料！五名王子們被邪惡的詛呪變成了天鵝，現在正在御花園的小湖裏。」

「大膽！誰敢對王子們做出這種事兒？」國王火冒三丈，王后趕緊上前安撫。「陛下，您別動怒啊！御醫有叮嚀說動怒傷身啊！」這次，換王后問那西莎了：「那請問要如何破除詛呪呢？」

「回娘娘：破除詛呪祇有一個方法！」那西莎答道。「那就是用荊棘編織一件背心，並穿上它。如此一來，穿上背心的人就會代替王子們，永遠變成天鵝。但切記，在編織背心時，絕對不能說話，哪怕只有出聲，詛呪都會變得永遠無法破除。哈哈哈哈！」説畢，女巫就在一陣靑煙中消失了。

Le lendemain matin, après que le roi découvrit les disparitions des cinq princes, il convoqua tout le monde du palais dans la salle du trône et les interrogea, mais personne ne savait rien de l'incident.

La reine Sabrina avait le sentiment que cet incident avait quelque chose en rapport avec Zelda, alors elle continuait à regarder sa femme de chambre. Cependant, Zelda regarda devant elle sans émotions, et quand tout le monde était parti, elle suggéra au roi. "Votre Majesté, pourquoi ne demandez-vous pas à la célèbre sorcière Narcissa?"

Par conséquent, Narcissa a été immédiatement convoqué. "Grande sorcière Narcissa, dites-moi, qu'est-il arrivé à mes fils?"

Narcissa répondit, après avoir jeté un coup d'œil en direction de Zelda: "La semaine dernière, à travers ma boule de cristal, j'ai prophétisé un désastre pour ce royaume et c'est enfin arrivé. Votre Majesté, les cinq princes ont été transformés en cinq cygnes par une sinistre malédiction et sont maintenant dans le lac du jardin royal. "

"Qui ose faire ça à mes fils?" le roi trembla de rage, la reine Sabrina se jeta immédiatement à ses côtés. "Priez, ne soyez pas en colère, Votre Majesté, le médecin a averti que les sautes d'humeur affecteront votre santé", alors elle demanda à Narcissa, "Priez, dites-nous, est-il possible d'inverser la malédiction?"

"Il n'y a qu'un seul moyen," répondit Narcissa. "Et c'est de tricoter un gilet avec des chardons et des épines et de laisser une personne le porter, alors cette personne deviendra un cygne pour toujours, afin que les cinq princes reviennent à leur ancienne forme. Mais souvenez-vous, en tricotant la veste, la tricoteuse ne peut pas parler ou prononcer un seul mot, sinon la malédiction ne pourra plus jamais être renversée." À la fin de son discours, Narcissa disparut dans une brume verte.

On the following morning, after the king has discovered the disappearances of the five princes, he summoned everyone from the palace into the throne room and questioned them, but no one knew anything about the incident. 

Queen Sabrina had a feeling that it had something related to Zelda, so she kept stealing glances at her maid. However, Zelda just looked straight ahead, and when everyone was gone, she suggested to the king. "Your majesty, why don't you ask the famous sorceress Narcissa." 

Therefore, Narcissa was immediately summoned. "Great Sorceress Narcissa, pray tell me, what has happened to my sons?" 

Narcissa replied, after glancing in the direction of Zelda, "Last week, through my crystal ball, I prophesied disaster to befall on this kingdom and it has finally happened. Your majesty, the five princes have been transformed into five swans through a sinister curse, and are now in the lake of the royal garden."

"Who dares do this to my sons?" the king trembled in rage, Queen Sabrina immediately dashed to his side. "Pray, do not be angry, your majesty, the physician has warned that mood swings will affect your health," then she asked Narcissa, "Pray, tell us, is there any way to reverse the curse?"

"There is only one way," responded Narcissa, "And that is to knit a vest using thistles and thorns and let a person wear it, then that person will turn into a swan forever, in order for the five princes to return to their old forms. But remember, whilst knitting the vest, the knitter cannot speak or utter a single word, or else the curse can never be reversed again. Hahahahah!" At the conclusion of her speech, Narcissa vanished into a green mist.

A minuit, pendant que les habitants de tout le château dormaient, la sorcière grimpa à la tour la plus haute du château et se mit à chanter un sort. Peu à peu, une brume verte commença à envelopper tout le château, comme si elle essayait d'étouffer ses habitants.

At midnight, whilst the inhabitants of the entire castle was asleep, the sorceress climbed up to the tallest tower in the castle and began to chant a spell. Gradually, a green mist began to envelope the entire castle, as if trying to suffocate its inhabitants.
