Playmobil Detectives: Rapunzel - The Demon Ship-7

"Let's go and investigate the bridge of the ship, where the steering wheel is situated," suggested Shaun after their investigation near the fake canons were over. "There doesn't seem to be anything here that's worth a closer examination."

"Yeah, you're right," agreed Blythe. "If we're lucky, we might just be able to acquire some information about the late captain of this ship there."

On arrival inside the bridge, they were quite disappointed to discover that the place was completely empty, whether due to the shipwreck or simply wiped away by the decorations crew in oder to refurnish the interior.

Without warning, Blythe caught a distinctive shadow out of the corner of her eye. She immediately turned around, just in time to catch a faint glimpse of the shadow disappearing into the corridor.

"Did you see that, too?" whispered Shaun in Mandarin, not wishing to let whoever or whatever it was to understand him and realise that it had been discovered. Blythe only nodded gently, her face was unusually pale and her expression was pensive but alert.

Meanwhile, Jeffrey and Tiffany began their investigation around the mast area.

"I wonder what the view would look like from the top," said Jeffrey as he started climbing up the mast using the rope-ladders on the side.

"No, Jeffie!" screamed Tiffany. "I can't climb that high!"

"Don't worry, just stay down there," responded Jeffrey. "I won't take long!"

"NO! Don't leave me down here all by myself!" shouted Tiffany. "I'm scared!!!" Nevertheless, her cries were soon swallowed by the thick mist, thus they were unable to reach into Jeffrey's ears. The higher Jeffrey climbed, the heavier his body felt, as if an omnipotent force was pulling him back down. Nevertheless, he was determined to reach the top.

After Jeffrey arrived at the top, where there was a little platform for sailors to look farther ahead, he suddenly felt a surge of dizziness. His vision blurred as Jeffrey gradually began to hear muffled cries of people.

"Oh no! Blythe and Shaun could be in danger!" Jeffrey thought as he was about to descend. Nevertheless, his dizziness became worse and everything seemed to be swirling violently around him as the previous muffled cries of the people became more and more distinctive, as if they were standing right beside him. Despite having clung tightly to the mast, Jeffrey found himself starting to lose his balance.

"Oh no! I'm gonna fall!" Jeffrey thought. "It seems quite high up here, I wonder if I'll die if I fall.... It won't be that bad to die in this peaceful place....." His conscious gradually began to fade along with his will to live. He was gradually loosening his grip on the handle as he abruptly heard someone yelling his name. "Jeffie, Jeffieeeee...."

"Who's that? It seems so familiar......" mumbled Jeffrey in his trance. Suddenly, he remembered as he snapped back into focus. "It's Tiffany!" Jeffrey looked down only to perceive Tiffany starting to climb up the rope-ladder. At the corner of his eye, he seemed to have caught a glimpse of a ghostly figure just below the spot where Tiffany was climbing.
