"Excuse me, miss, I am here to visit my friend: Jeffrey Donovan, who is, according to the text message I got from him, currently staying at room 102 in your hospital. Could you please kindly direct me there?"
「不好意思，我的朋友：傑佛瑞・多諾溫在你們醫院的102號病房。我剛剛收到他的簡訊。可以請你告訴我病房在哪兒嗎？」
Only when she heard the words 'Room 102' did the reception lady at the Pearson-Malone Hospital lift her eyes from her paperwork to see an Asian male of around twenty standing in front of the counter. In fact, that person is no other than one of our protagonists- Shaun Lee. She suddenly became interested and replied, "Did you say 'Room 102'?"
直到她聽到了「102號病房」這幾個字，『皮爾森-馬龍醫院』的櫃台小姐才抬起頭，看到一位大約二十歲左右的亞裔男子站在櫃檯前。事實上，這名男子不是別人，而是我們的主角之一：李孝恩。她突然感到有興趣，並問道：「你剛剛說102號病房？」
"Ye...yes, I did!" Shaun, taken aback by the weird air of the reception lady, confirmed.
「是....是的！」孝恩被櫃台小姐詭異的笑容嚇了一跳，並確認道。
Without warning, the reception lady suddenly became all mysterious, glanced around the place to ensure that no one was listening, motioned Shaun closer to her and whispered, "Don't tell anyone I told you this, but, room 101, the room next to the one your friend's currently staying at, is......."
突然，櫃台小姐變得神秘兮兮的，確認了一下四下無人，並叫孝恩靠過去一點兒，小聲地說道：「別告訴人家是我告訴你的。傳說，101號病房，也就是你朋友住的病房的隔壁......」
"Venessa!" Suddenly, a nurse came out of nowhere and interrupted her speech, "How many times have I told you not to tell patients about such things? They're just inappropriate in so many ways! Not to mention that the vice director specifically reminded us not to tell!"
「范妮沙！」突然，一名護士不知從哪裡冒了出來，打斷了櫃台小姐。「我不是告訴過你了，別和病人講這種事情？這成何體統呀？再說，副院長上次不是也千叮嚀萬交代別說出去嗎？」
"Erm, excuse me, could any of you kindly lead me to Room 102?" Shaun inquired.
「嗯，不好意思喔！可以告訴我102號病房在哪兒嗎？」孝恩問道。
"Up the stairs, second last in the row!" the angry nurse snapped and stomped away.
「上樓，那排的倒數第二間！」怒氣沖沖的護士大聲說畢後便生氣地離開了。
The hospital was extremely dark and empty, after going through winding passages and corridors, Shaun found himself lost.
整間醫院既陰暗又空空盪盪的，孝恩走遍了好幾個彎彎曲曲的走廊後便迷路了。
After perceiving two figures walking towards him, Shaun grabbed hold of his opportunity and inquired one of them. "Um, excuse me, miss! Could you kindly direct me to Room 102? I think I'm lost!"
他赫然發現有兩個人朝他的方向走過來，便趕緊抓緊機會詢問道。「嗯，不好意思。可以請你告訴我102號病房在哪兒嗎？我好像迷路了！」
The nurse and the doctor, which were the figures Shaun perceived earlier, looked at each other and the doctor replied, "Room 102 is upstairs. The stairs are over there!"
原來走向他的是一名醫生和一名護士，她們對看了一眼後，那位醫生答道：「102號病房在樓上，樓梯在那兒！」
Having thanked the doctor, Shaun walked up the stairs, when he couldn't help but to overhear the conversation between the nurse and the doctor.
和醫生道謝後，孝恩走上樓梯時，不禁聽到了護士和醫生的對話。
"OMG! It's the room next to the haunted room 101!" the nurse gasped, "They say that whoever stays in that room will not be able to get out of the hospital alive!"
「噢買尬！那不就是鬧鬼的101號病房的隔壁？」護士驚叫道。「傳說待在那間病房的人都無法活著走出醫院呀！」
"Shhhh! Keep your voice down!" the doctor replied, "We're not supposed to mention it, in case the ghost appears! Anyways, how's your job-seeking going? Got any news?"
「噓！小聲點兒！」醫生答道。「我們不應該提起的，說不定鬼魂會出現呢！對了，你找工作找得怎樣？有任何消息嗎？」
"Nope, not yet!" the nurse responded "How about you?"
「還沒耶！」護士答道。「那你呢？」
"A few of them replied! Well, my advice to you is, to get out of here as soon as possible!" the doctor suggested, "I don't think Pearson-Malone can get over this month, let alone the season. Look at how little patients we have! It's just ridiculous. Even though the Vice Director tried to keep the secret, it eventually leaked out to the public. I mean, who would want to come to a haunted hospital?"
「已經有一些回覆了！我給你的建議是：愈快離開這裡愈好！」醫生說。「我不認為『皮爾森-馬龍』能撐過這個月，更別說是這一季了！你看我們少得可憐的病人就知道了！實在太扯了！就算副院長試圖隱瞞這個祕密，最後還是流露出去啦！我是說，誰要來一間鬧鬼的醫院看病啊？」
As Shaun entered Room 102, he saw Jeffrey lying on the bed.
孝恩進到102號病房後，看見傑佛瑞躺在病床上。
"Thank God you're fine!" Shaun exclaimed, "What on Earth has happened?"
「你沒事實在太好了！」孝恩說道。「到底是出了什麼事？」
