"It's nothing, Shaun. Don't worry!" Jeffrey replied.
「我沒事兒的，孝恩！別擔心！」傑佛瑞答道。
"You're in the HOSPITAL! And you say it's nothing! Well, it was a good shot, but I'm not gonna believe you! Go on, blurt it all out. How did you end up here?" Shaun exclaimed.
「你在醫院裏耶！你還說你沒事？你以為我會相信嗎？快說，到底是發生了什麼事？」孝恩逼問道。
"Okay......it's a long story but I'll try to make it short. I was driving my car and suddenly this car appeared in front, who was driving in the reverse direction to the road. Then, I rotated my steering wheel to avoid it, and I bumped into a lamppost. My safety airbag expanded and crushed me. The lady who was driving that car got off and asked me how I was, I told her I was fine except that my chest hurts a bit, probably from the airbag crash, and she insisted that I get a full health checkup in this hospital. End of story!" Jeffrey concluded, "See, I really am fine. Happy now?"
「好.....整件事情說來話長，可是我會儘量長話短說的。我在開車時突然迎面而來有一台逆向的車子。我為了閃躲它轉動方向盤，結果不慎撞到旁邊的路燈。我的安全氣囊頓時膨脹壓到我。逆向行駛的車主下車慰問我，我告訴她說我很好，只是胸有點兒痛，可能是因為安全氣囊壓到的關係。但是，她堅持我在這間醫院裏作全身的健康檢查。故事講完了！」傑佛瑞說。「看吧，我真的沒事兒吧？滿意了嗎？」
Just when Shaun was about to respond, there was a knock on the door, and after Jeffrey said "come in", a blond lady appeared by the doorway.
正當孝恩準備回答時，有人敲門。傑佛瑞說『進來』後，一名金髮女子出現在門口。
"Hi Mr Donovan, how are you feeling now? Is everything alright? I've just checked with the doctors, and they said...." Suddenly, the blond lady perceived Shaun and paused, "Oh, I'm sorry, am I interrupting your conversation with your friend? It's okay, I can wait outside until you're finished!"
「你好啊，多諾溫先生。你現在感覺怎樣？一切都還好嗎？我剛剛跟醫生確認過了，他說.....」突然，金髮女子看見孝恩後說：「噢，不好意思，我打斷了你和朋友的對話。沒關係，我可以在外面等你們說完才進去。」
"Oh, um, it's fine!" Shaun responded, "Jeffrey just finished telling me about his incident. Thank you very much for coming to see him, um, Ms.....?"
「噢，不，沒關係的！」孝恩答道。「傑佛瑞剛剛才跟我講完整件事的來龍去脈。非常謝謝妳來探望ㄚ他......嗯，我該如何稱呼？」
"Evans, but please, just call me Nadia." the blond lady replied as she shook hands with Shaun, "I am very sorry that this has happened! I sincerely hope that everything is going to be okay. In fact, I have just spoken with the doctor, who said, so far, all the check-ups that were done have proven so. But I insisted that further checks should be done. I am so sorry!"
「我姓伊文絲，但請叫我娜迪雅就好。」金髮女子答道，並和孝恩握手。「我對整件事情感到非常抱歉。我誠心的希望一切都沒事。事實上，我剛剛才跟醫生談過，他說根據目前的檢查報告，一切都正常。但是，我還是堅持要做更多的檢查。我真的很抱歉！」
"Oh, don't worry! I am sure everything will be fine! In fact, Jeffrey's one of the toughest guys I know, this little incident won't do him any harm!" Shaun said as he winked at Jeffrey, "Anyways, it's not entirely your fault either, I mean, it was purely an accident."
「別擔心啦！一切都沒事！事實上，傑佛瑞是我看過最強壯的人，這點兒小事對他來說算什麼呢？」孝恩和傑佛瑞眨了眨眼。「還有，更何況，整件事情也不是全是你的錯呀！這只不過是一件意外罷了！」
Then, suddenly, the door flew open, and the angry nurse whom Shaun met downstairs at the counter appeared, pushing a wheelchair. "It's time for the X-ray checkup, Mr Vonodan, now, hurry up and hop onto this wheelchair, we don't have all day, sir!"
這時，門突然間被打開了。孝恩在樓下遇見的那位脾氣很大的護士站在門口，推著輪椅。「Ｘ光檢查時間到了，溫諾多先生。請快點兒坐上輪椅，我很忙的！」
"I am so sorry, but I am afraid I have to leave now, as I am needed at work," Nadia Evans apologised as she read a message on her phone. "If you need anything, please just contact me, here's my number!" She said as she wrote her phone number of a piece of paper and passed it to Shaun.
「不好意思，我恐怕得先走了，我的工作需要我。」娜迪雅・伊文絲邊讀著簡訊邊道歉道。「如果你需要任何協助，請直接聯絡我就好，這是我的手機號碼。」她將號碼寫在一張紙條上後遞給了孝恩。
"Of course! You may leave if you need to, the last thing we want is to interrupt your work because of such a trivial incident. Thank you so much for your help! Have a nice day!" Jeffrey said as Nadia Evans walked out of the door.
「當然！你去忙吧！我們都不希望因為這點兒小事打擾到你工作。非常謝謝你的幫助！祝你有美好的一天！」傑佛瑞說。
"Can you hop on the wheelchair now, Mr Vodonan? You really think I have nothing better to do than to wait for you, don't you?" the nurse scowled impatiently.
「你現在可以坐上輪椅了嗎，溫多諾先生？你真的以為我很閒，是不是？」護士不耐煩地瞪著他們。
