As soon as they got to the parking area, Shaun hopped onto his car, Jeffrey got on beside him and they drove away.
他們一到停車場，孝恩就立馬跳上駕駛座，傑佛瑞坐好後，他們就開走了。
"According to her Facebook page, Nadia Evans works in this bar called the Golden Nugget Saloon," Shaun said as he was setting up his GPS system to the correct address. "We have to get to her grandma through her and then tell her grandma about the inheritance before the deadline is up."
「根據她的臉書，娜迪雅・伊文絲在一間『金塊酒吧』工作。」孝恩一邊設定ＧＰＳ定位系統一邊說。「我們得透過她找到她阿嬤，才能通知她有關遺產的事。」
"Mr Malone said that it expires in three days yesterday, that means we only have two days left, including today. We've got to hurry!" Jeffrey replied.
「馬龍先生昨天說還剩三天期限就到了，那表示我們只有兩天，而且還包含今天。我們得快點兒了！」傑佛瑞答道。
They soon arrived at the Golden Nugget Saloon, which is situated in the suburbs of the town.
不久後，他們就來到了位在城市郊區的金塊酒吧。
They pushed open the door, and found Nadia busying herself at the counter. Jeffrey was surprised to perceive that the bar was quite empty except for one table at the far corner, with two men chatting away. Shaun had to restrain his exclamation, after recognising them.
他們推開門後，發現娜迪雅就站在櫃台後面。傑佛瑞很驚訝的察覺酒吧裏空空的，除了在角落的一桌有兩個男人正在聊天。孝恩認出他們後得克制自己的驚訝表情。
As Nadia perceived them, she exclaimed, "Jeffrey, Shaun! I see that you have been discharged from the hospital. I am so sorry that I couldn't go and visit you, I have been so busy lately!" Nadia apologised, "I hope that everything is fine now? I am so sorry for the accident, I was looking for this shop when I accidentally ended up going in the opposite lane, which was the reverse direction."
納迪雅看見他們後說：「傑佛瑞、孝恩！你出院啦！我真抱歉沒辦法去拜訪你，我最近真的忙翻了！」娜迪雅道歉道。「一切都還好嗎？對於那場意外，我真的非常抱歉。我那天要找這間店面時不小心就開到對面車道上了！」
As Jeffrey was chatting to Nadia, and communicating the the intelligence of the inheritance to her, being careful to miss out on the detail of their encounter with Mr Malone's ghost in order not to frighten her, Shaun couldn't help but began to eavesdrop on the conversation between the two men.
傑佛瑞在和娜迪雅聊天，並通知她關於遺產的事（為了不讓他受到驚嚇，傑佛瑞刻意漏掉了他們遇見馬龍先生的鬼魂的事情），孝恩不禁開始偷聽坐在角落兩人的對話。
"You found the right man to do it!" the man in purple suit whispered cautiously, "It was easy as hell to fool them. Just spread a rumour about this non-existing dead client and the scandal of medical malpractice, then people got scared. Acting the ghost was very fun. Even managed to scare the doctors, nurses and some patients. Hahaha!" Here he burst out laughing, "They all thought the ghost was real! And what's more! The best part was pretending to conceal 'the secret', I even told everyone not to mention it and such, so no one could've suspected it was me! By this state, the hospital couldn't pass the month, I promise you, Old Nick. Then, your company can buy off the land cheaply, get rid of the old hospital, and build your shopping mall. Don't forget my share then, HAHAHAHAH!"
「你這次找對人啦！」穿著紫色西裝的男人小聲地說。「他們實在太好騙了！只要傳一下一個根本就不存在、因醫療疏失死亡的病人的醜聞就把他們嚇得一唬一愣了！扮鬼也超好玩的！把醫生、護士、病人們都嚇傻了！哈哈哈！」這時，他大笑道。「他們還真的以為鬼魂是真的呢！更有趣的是，我還裝神秘要他們一定要守住好『秘密』，絕對不能說出去，這樣，就不會有人懷疑到我頭上來啦！依現在這個情勢，我保證，醫院絕對撐不過一個月，老尼克。然後，你們公司就可以把土地用便宜的價錢買下，去蓋你的超級商城啦！屆時，別忘了我的份喔！哈哈哈哈！」
"You're a genius!" The man in orange suit replied, "Don't worry, old pal! You'll get your half-share alright!"
「你是個天才！」穿著橘色西裝的男人答道。「別擔心，老朋友！我保證你會拿到你那一半的！」
Shaun then smiled knowingly as he recorded the entire conversation on his phone.
孝恩將整個談話錄下後就笑了。
