"That ghost is obviously a fraud!" Jeffrey concluded as they returned from the X-ray room.

"Which one?" Shaun responded.
「哪一個？」孝恩問道。

"What do you mean which one? There was only one, the one that seemed like it had a blanket over it. From our past experiences of encountering ghosts, it looks so artificial!" Jeffrey said.
「什麼哪一個？只有一個啊！就是那個像用棉被蓋住頭的那個呀！根據我們過去接觸過鬼魂的經驗，他看起來好假喔！」傑佛瑞說。

"Yep, I agree with you on this one, but the other one, I'm not so sure." When Jeffrey gave Shaun a puzzled look, the latter continued, "Two ghosts appeared at the same time, when the blanket ghost appeared, behind it was an old man hiding in the corner. At first, I thought he was human, but when I took a second look, he disappeared, signifying that he must be a ghost. And unless there are two ghosts in this crazy hospital, one of them must be a fraud."
「嗯，對於這點我完全同意，但是另一個，我就不確定了！」傑佛瑞用著疑惑的眼神看著孝恩後，後者才繼續說：「有兩個鬼魂同時出現。當棉被鬼魂出現時，他後面的角落還站著一位老先生。起初，我以為他是人，可是，轉眼他就消失了，所以斷定他是鬼魂。除非這個瘋狂的醫院有兩個鬼魂，其中一個必定是假的。」

"But who would want to act as a ghost in a bankrupt hospital?" Jeffrey exclaimed in disbelieve. "Halloween is over a long time ago. I don't see their motive, let alone who's behind all this. I mean, everyone here is weird, so it could be anyone."
「但是誰會要在破產的醫院扮鬼啊？」傑佛瑞疑惑地說。「萬聖節早就過了。我看不出他的動機，更何況是誰扮的。我是說，這個醫院的人都很奇怪，有可能是任何人呀！」

"That's why we need to find out!" Shaun concluded, "If the rumour about Room 101 is right, and that room is really haunted. Then, we have to go there and visit the real ghost, maybe he will be able to give us some light on who's behind all this."
「所以我們才要去查個水落石出！」孝恩說。「如果101號病房的傳聞是正確的話，鬼魂一定在那裡。看來，我們得去拜訪一下他老人家，說不定他會提供我們什麼線索呢！」

"But the room is forbidden!" Jeffrey replied, "I've heard it from the reception!"
「那間病房是禁止進入的。」傑佛瑞答道。「櫃台小姐告訴我的！」

"Then, we'll have to sneak in there at night!" Shaun declared with determination.
「既然如此，我們就得晚上偷偷去了！」孝恩篤定地說。

When Shaun pushed open the door of Room 101 followed by Jeffrey behind him, he was astonished to discover that, although the room was furnished with old-style hospital furniture, with a metal bunk-bed, a wardrobe, a screen, a chair and a few white candles, it was surprisingly clean.
當孝恩推開101號病房的門時，他赫然發現雖然裡面陳設著古早時代醫院的設備，像是鐵的上下鋪、衣櫥、屏風、椅子、還有幾根白蠟燭，但是房間居然非常乾淨。
"Well, it looks like someone has been cleaning this room regularly," Jeffrey concluded.
「看來，有人很勤勞，常常來打掃這兒呢！」傑佛瑞說。
"We don't even know the name of the dead patient, how are we supposed to find him and talk to him?" Jeffrey inquired as he sat on the chair.
「我們連去世的病人的大名都不知道，我們要怎麼找到他啊？」傑佛瑞坐在椅子上問道。
"There might be some clues in this room," Shaun said as he opened the wardrobe, only to find that it is empty.
「這間病房裡說不定會有什麼線索。」孝恩說著說著便打開衣櫥一探究竟，卻發現裡面空空的。
"Anyhow, it's way past bedtime!" Jeffrey yawned. "If that old man you saw in the X-ray room is a real ghost. He'll wake us up if he needs us. I'm going to hit the sack."
「總而言之，現在已經過了睡覺時間。」傑佛瑞邊打哈欠邊說。「如果你在Ｘ光室看到的老先生是真的鬼魂的話，他會叫我們起床的。現在，我要來去睡覺了！」
"Great idea! He won't come out if we keep looking for him!" Shaun replied as he climbed onto top bunk.
「好主意！如果我們一直找他，他反而不會出現！」孝恩一邊爬到上鋪，一邊答道。
After some time, in his sleep, Shaun seemed to have heard some noise. He sat up abruptly to discover that the old man was floating beside him.
經過了一些時間後，在睡夢中，孝恩彷彿聽到了什麼聲音。他坐起來後，赫然發現老先生就漂浮在他的旁邊。
