This time, Rapunzel, after peering out her window, saw that it was a rich and handsome prince, she quickly helped him in and inquired after the purpose of this visit.
他們開始聊天，王子向賴胖嫂提起那天發生的是，問她知不知道是誰救了他，又是誰推了他。
The prince recounted the happenings of the other day and inquired Rapunzel whether she knew who had saved and who had pushed him.
賴胖嫂臉色頓時一陣青一陣紫
，不知如何答覆才好～她害怕讓王子知道是自己推了他，所以就仗著王子模糊的記憶編了個天衣無縫的謊
：
Rapunzel became speechless as her faced turned from green to purple, she was scared of letting the prince know that it was her who pushed him, therefore she made up a perfect lie:
「其實我是鄰國的公主，因為我的父王不小心冒犯到了巫婆，所以她便在我出生時把我奪走，關在這無出入的大樓裡，害我哪兒也不能去，所以也不能和別人交朋友～我每天好無聊啊
！那天，是壞巫婆發現你來找我，她非常生氣，以為我偷跑出去玩兒，所以就把你推下去了。我掙脫巫婆的阻擋，奮不顧身的跳下去救你，把你扶到一邊去。我本來想趁機逃跑的，可是巫婆威脅我說如果我敢逃跑，她就把你給殺了！！我好害怕呀，王子，妳一定要救我出去呀
！」賴胖嫂假裝開始啜泣
。
"Actually, I am a princess from the neighbouring country, because my father had wronged a wicked witch, so she cruelly kidnapped me when I was a baby and locked me up in this doorless building, I have nowhere to go and I cannot make friends with anyone! I'm so bored! That day, the wicked witch discovered that you came to visit me and suspected me of escaping the building; therefore, in the fit of her anger, she pushed you down! I escaped the merciless clutches of the wicked witch and, disregarding my own safety, jumped down to save you. I was going to use this chance to run away but the wicked witch threatened to kill you if I dared to escape. I'm so scared, please, promise me that you'll save me!!" At this, Rapunzel pretended to sob.
王子看到賴胖嫂如此可憐，就答應把她救出來
。
The prince sympathised greatly of Rapunzel's desperate situation and promised to save her.
於是王子就牽著賴胖嫂沿著繩子攀爬下樓。這時老女僕買菜回來遇見了王子帶著賴胖嫂。
The prince carried Rapunzel down the rope. At this very moment, Rapunzel's old maid returned from the market and encountered the two.
賴胖嫂害怕老女僕破壞了她的好事，便大叫說：「啊！！巫婆！我好害怕喔，王子，你一定要保護我才好呀！」
Rapunzel was afraid that the maid would ruin all her plans, therefore she screamed deafeningly, "OMG, it's the wicked witch!! I'm so scared! You must protect me from her spells!"
王子便趕緊牽著賴胖嫂上馬，老女僕還愣在那兒
，根本還沒會過神來，王子就帶著賴胖嫂飛奔離開了。
The prince quickly helped Rapunzel onto his horse whilst her maid was still too shocked of being called a witch.
王子回到他的城堡後，娶了賴胖嫂，賴胖嫂就從此過著奢侈，浪費的生活。
After the prince and Rapunzel has arrived at the castle, he married Rapunzel. And Rapunzel lived a life wasting money from then on.
