During the years Alleredinc never cut his hair, so it became very very long.

His godfather put him in a tall tower without any doors, so he could be thoroughly protected. There were only several big windows at the top of the tower.
他的精靈教父將他放在一個沒有門的塔裏，這樣才能確保他的安全。只有在塔的頂樓有設有幾個大窗戶。
這些年來，【阿勒瑞丁斯】王子從來沒剪過頭髮，因此，他的頭髮變得很長。

Whenever his godfather would like to visit him, he would call: “Alleredinc, Alleredinc please let down your hair!”
每當他的精靈教父要來拜訪他時，他就會大叫：「阿勒瑞丁斯，請把你的頭髮放下來！」
Then, Alleredinc would throw his braided hair out of the tower window so his godfather could use it to climb up.
然後，阿勒瑞丁斯王子就會將它紮好辮子的頭髮從窗口丟下去，讓他的精靈教父沿著它爬上去。
每當他的精靈教父要來拜訪他時，他就會大叫：「阿勒瑞丁斯，請把你的頭髮放下來！」

Many times Alleredinc, who was a curious child, asked his godfather: “Why couldn’t I cut my long and disgusting hair like everybody else?” as he was annoyed and fed up of constantly tripping on his own hair.
好奇的阿勒瑞丁斯常常問他的教父：「為甚麼我就不能和大家一樣把我這噁心又討厭的頭髮剪掉？」因為他已經受夠了每次都被自己的頭髮絆倒。
However, his godfather always replied: “You will know everything when you are sixteen years old.”
然而，他的教父每次的答覆都是：「等到你到了十六歲時，你就會知道了。」
Time flies and many years had elapsed when eventually the day before Alleredinc’s sixteenth birthday has arrived. On that day, his godfather let Alleredinc out of the tower and told him to walk anywhere he wanted to.
光陰似箭、日月如梭，好幾年過去了，終於阿勒瑞丁斯王子生日的前一天來臨了。在那天，他的教父放他出去塔外走走、透透氣兒。
好奇的阿勒瑞丁斯常常問他的教父：「為甚麼我就不能和大家一樣把我這噁心又討厭的頭髮剪掉？」因為他已經受夠了每次都被自己的頭髮絆倒。
However, his godfather always replied: “You will know everything when you are sixteen years old.”
然而，他的教父每次的答覆都是：「等到你到了十六歲時，你就會知道了。」

Alleredinc was strolling in the lush forest nearby when he accidentally bumped into an ugly princess, who was wearing a pretty dress, and a pretty maid, who was wearing an ugly dress.
正當阿勒瑞丁斯王子在塔旁邊的樹林閒逛時，不小心撞到了一個穿著華麗衣服的醜公主，和一個身穿簡陋衣服的美麗丫鬟。
“Oh, dear! How horrible, who is that weird man?” screamed the ugly princess, pointing her finger at Alleredinc whilst talking to her maid.
「天呀！那是哪一個詭異的男人呀！？」醜公主一邊尖叫，一邊用手指著阿勒瑞丁斯對著她的丫鬟說道。
“I am Alleredinc, how do you do?” he said, feeling a bit wounded.
「你好，我叫阿勒瑞丁斯。」自尊心被深受打擊的王子說。
“I........ am the prettiest princess in the world, my name’s Leznupar!” She replied with an arrogant tone.
「我～～是世界上最美麗的公主，我的名字叫做【賴斯努帕】！」醜公主驕傲的說。
“Pick me an apple, Melody!” She ordered her maid. As the tree was too tall, Melody tried to pick an apple but she couldn’t reach it.
「美樂蒂，幫我摘一顆蘋果！」醜公主命令丫鬟說。可是，樹實在太高了，美樂蒂根本無法摘到蘋果。
“Let me help you!” the benign prince volunteered to helped the poor girl.
「讓我幫你吧！」好心的王子幫助了可憐的女孩。
正當阿勒瑞丁斯王子在塔旁邊的樹林閒逛時，不小心撞到了一個穿著華麗衣服的醜公主，和一個身穿簡陋衣服的美麗丫鬟。

“Come on Melody,” said Leznupar coolly. “We’d better hurry home to choose my dress for the prince’s birthday party tomorrow! I might be able to marry the prince!”
「我們趕快走吧，美樂蒂！」醜公主說：「我們最好趕緊回家挑一件我明天去參加王子的生日派對要穿的禮服。說不定我還會嫁給王子呢！呵呵呵！」
When they began turning to go, Alleredinc suddenly called out: “Melody, your name's Meloday, right? Could we meet up at midnight in this forest? I have something to give you!”
正當他們準備轉身離開時，阿勒瑞丁斯突然開口說：「美樂蒂，妳的名字是美樂蒂吧？今天午夜我們可不可以在這裡相會？我有一個東西要給妳！」
"Ignore that strange man,” glared Leznupar impatiently.
「別理會那個奇怪的男人！」醜公主回頭瞪了美樂蒂一下。
Melody daren’t reply so she only nodded gently and they hastily went away.
美樂蒂不敢回應，所以只好默默地點了點頭，隨後便匆匆離去了。
「我們趕快走吧，美樂蒂！」醜公主說：「我們最好趕緊回家挑一件我明天去參加王子的生日派對要穿的禮服。說不定我還會嫁給王子呢！呵呵呵！」
