Many days after Dorothy and her friends were captured by the Wicked Witch of the West, one day, the Wicked Witch of the West went to Dorothy's cage and unlocked the door.
陶樂絲和她的朋友們被關在西方壞女巫的城堡裏好幾天後，有天，西方壞女巫突然出現在陶樂絲被關的籠子前面並把鎖打開。
"What? Have you finally changed your mind and want to free us, now?" Dorothy asked.
「怎麼了？你終於想通了，決定放我們走了嗎？」陶樂絲問道。
"Hahahaha! Wrong!" the Wicked Witch laughed sinisterly, "I would like to ask you to clean my kitchen for me, whilst I cook your dog for my dinner. Hahahahaha!"
「哈哈哈哈！錯！」西方壞女巫奸笑著說。「我是要你來幫我打掃廚房，一邊看我把你的狗煮了，當晚餐吃。哈哈哈哈！」
"How dare you, you mad woman!" Dorothy thought to herself whilst clenching her fist, "Now, my only hope is the not-so-reliable content of the Wonderful Wizard of Oz. According to that book, the Wicked Witch of the West was destroyed by Dorothy after she poured a bucket of water over her. Now, she's telling me to clean her kitchen for her, which is a good opportunity, as cleaning needs water. I'll just pretend to do what she has told me to do, and hope for the best that the book is right for once."
「妳好大的膽子呀！妳這個瘋婆子！」陶樂絲一邊想一邊緊握拳頭。「現在我唯一的希望就是那本不怎麼可靠的書【綠野仙蹤】了！那本書寫說當陶樂絲把一桶水潑在西方壞女巫的身上時，她就融化了。現在她叫我幫她打掃廚房，真是個大好機會，因為打掃需要水。我就假裝聽從她的命令，然後再見機行事。希望那本書寫得是對的！」
Dorothy started to form an ingenious plan whilst cleaning the floor of the kitchen in the Castle of the Wicked Witch of the West.
陶樂絲一邊打掃著廚房，一邊想著方法。
Meanwhile, the Wicked Witch was boiling water in order to cook Toto, she dropped Toto into the pot.
那時，西方壞巫婆正在滾水，並將可憐的托托丟進鍋子裏！
Dorothy could take this no more, so she shouted, "Wicked Witch, I need your help!"
陶樂絲實在忍無可忍了，她大叫：「喂！壞巫婆，過來幫我！」
The Wicked Witch turned around and demanded impatiently, "What do you want, girl? Can't you see I am busy right now? Don't tell me you don't even know how to clean!?"
西方壞女巫轉過身來並不耐煩得說：「妳又幹嘛了？妳沒看到我現在在忙嘛？不要告訴我妳連打掃都不會！？」
"How dare you hurt Toto, you ugly woman! Take this and see if it'll improve your features !" Dorothy yelled as she poured the bucket of water over the Wicked Witch of the West.
「妳竟敢傷害托托，妳這個醜女！看看這樣會不會讓妳美一點兒！」說完，陶樂絲便把水往西方壞女巫的身上一潑。
To her astonishment, and a bit of disappointment, the Wicked Witch of the West did not melt like it was written in the Wonderful Wizard of Oz. However, her heavy make-up was completely removed and revealed her true facial features.
陶樂絲既驚訝又失望的發現，西方壞女巫並沒有像【綠野仙蹤】裏面所寫得一樣因而融化掉。但是，她臉上的妝全被水給洗掉了，露出了她素顏的樣貌。
"Ahahahaha!" Dorothy couldn't control her laughter as it was indeed extremely amusing, "I see that there was no water-proof make-up back in the old days! But actually, you look much, much better without those stuff on your face! Hahahaha! I have to take a photo of you and post it on Facebook so everyone could see you without your make-up. Hahahaha!"
「啊哈哈哈哈！」陶樂絲不禁噗哧一聲地笑了出來，因為的確很滑稽，「看來，古代並沒有防水的化妝品呀！但是，其實妳這樣還比較好看耶！哈哈哈哈！我一定要照一張相然後發文到臉書，讓大家看看妳素顏的樣子！哈哈哈哈！」
Just then, Toto, as if capable of understanding Dorothy's words, went and fetched her smartphone from the wicked witch's room.
這時，托托像聽得懂人話似的，從壞女巫的房間裏把陶樂絲的手機拿了出來。
Dorothy took a photo of the Wicked Witch of the West on her phone and showed it to her, "See! You look much, much better! I am going to show everyone in Oz what you really look like behind that mask!!"
陶樂絲用手機照了一張壞女巫後，並拿給她看。「妳看！妳這樣真的比較好看耶！我一定要給大家看看，妳那厚厚的面具後面原來是長這樣呀！」
"Oh my goodness me!" the Wicked Witch of the West cried out in agony and then started to sob loudly, "Please! Don't show it to me! I am so ugly without my make-up! How can I keep up my reputation of the Wicked Witch of the West in this.....face of mine! Oh no! Oh no!"
「噢，我的天呀！」西方壞女巫大叫後便開始大聲啜泣：「拜托，拜托妳不要給大家看！我沒化妝真的真的好醜啊！大家看到後，你叫我這個『西方壞女巫』的名譽又該怎麼辦呀！？噢，不！噢，不！」
Dorothy, alarmed by the Wicked Witch's reaction, began to soothe her, "No! I am not joking! Seriously, you do look better without your make-up! I mean, at least it's more natural, and natural means beauty....doesn't it?"
陶樂絲對壞女巫的反應感到非常驚訝，便開始安慰她：「不，我不是在開玩笑！真的，你不化妝真的比較好看呀！我是說.....至少比較自然呀......然後，自然就是美呀！不是嗎？」
"NO! NO! NOOOOO!!!!" the Wicked Witch cried even louder after hearing Dorothy's words, "I will not come out until after one thousand years have elapsed, so no one alive would remember seeing my ugly face......."
「不！不！不！！！！」西方壞女巫聽到陶樂絲的安慰後哭得更大聲了，「我這一千年都不會再出現了，這樣才不會有人記得我這張醜陋的臉啊啊啊啊！！」
After the wicked witch has finished, she and her green python disappeared in a puff of green smoke and was never seen again for one thousand years.
說完，西方壞女巫便化成了一陣青煙就消失得無影無蹤了，往後的一千年也都沒有人再見到過她了。
"Okay....." Dorothy muttered to herself, "I don't get why she's so obsessed with make-up, I mean, it doesn't even improve her features, right, Toto? Well, I guess, on the bright side, we'll never see her again, nor will the Ozians, at least not in one thousand years....."
「好....吧！」陶樂絲喃喃自語說：「我真搞不懂她為什麼一定要化妝，我是說......她那樣也沒變漂亮呀！對吧，托托？不過，至少往好處想，我們再也不會再看到她了！奧茲國的人也不會再看到她了，至少在往後的一千年......」
Dorothy took all her confiscated belongings back from the room of the Wicked Witch and freed all her friends from their cages.
陶樂絲拿回了她被西方壞女巫沒收的所有東西，並把她的朋友們從籠子裏面一一放出來。
After they've heard how Dorothy accidentally 'destroyed' the Wicked Witch of the West, they all cheered for Dorothy's wit and intelligence.
他們聽到陶樂絲如何不小心把壞女巫『摧毀』後，都為她歡呼，並且稱讚她的勇氣與機智。
Then, the group of five continued their journey to see the Great Wizard of Oz.
然後，他們一行人便繼續踏上尋找奧茲國巫師的路。
