The following day, the detectives' new neighbour- Madame Tigresse went shopping around town, with two cats in her cat basket, and came across the Pink Patisserie, which claimed to sell not only desserts for humans, but also for your pets.
隔天早上，神探們的新鄰居～虎姑婆到城市裏去閒逛，他提著裡面裝有兩隻貓的貓籃路過了裡面堪稱有賣專為寵物設計的甜點的『粉紅甜點店』。
"Hmmm! It'll be nice to get my children some desserts!" the old lady grinned weirdly as she alluded to the numerous cats at home.
「我剛好可買些點心吃孩子們吃！」老太太想著家裏的貓咪們心想。
As the white-haired lady pushed open the cumbersome glass door of the cosy, little store at the corner of the road, Klara immediately stood up behind the counter, her tall figure looming over that of Madame Tigresse. Without warning, on seeing Klara's figure, the latter snarled aggressively at the shopkeeper, and for a split second, one cannot be certain whether it were the trick of the light or not, but, to Nadia's astonishment, seemed to reveal some sharp teeth in her wide, open mouth. However, the illusion soon faded, only leaving Klara gasping behind the counter.
白髮老太太推開了沈重的玻璃門時，克拉拉立刻站了起來，她的高個兒籠罩著虎姑婆。看到了克拉拉後，老太太突然吼叫了一聲。頓時，也不知是不是因為燈光太暗了，在一旁的娜迪雅似乎赫然驚見老太太的牙齒變得十分尖銳。然而，幻影很快地就不見了，只有克拉拉還在驚嚇中。
"Ah mon dieu! I beg your pardon, miss!" said Madame Tigresse in a soothing tone to the horrified Klara, "I was daydreaming when you suddenly stood up and shocked me! For I have never seen anyone as tall you!"
「唉唷！不好意思嚇到你了，小姐！」虎姑婆對著下壞了的克拉拉說。「我正在做白日夢時你猛然站了起來，嚇到了我！我從沒看見長得像你這麼高的人呀！」
Klara, still unable to overcome her sudden shock, was quite speechless; therefore, Nadia immediately spoke to relieve the awkward situation. "Hello! Welcome to our shop!" said Nadia in her sweet tone, " I see you have a lot of cats in your home! Our store boasts to have some very well designed desserts for cats, as we do not add any extra salt or sugar to our homemade desserts, which could potentially damage their health."
克拉拉驚嚇過度，一時不知要回答什麼；這時，娜迪雅趕緊跳出來幫朋友解圍說：「您好！歡迎光臨！您有養許多貓吧？本店有號稱最適合寵物吃的甜點，因為我們的手工甜點沒有加任何額外的糖或是鹽，因為這些都有可能傷害小動物的健康。」
"How do you know that I own many cats, mademoiselle?" inquired Madame Tigresse slowly, her iris in her eyes seemed to grow long and thin in the dim light, like that of a cat.
「你怎麼知道我有養很多隻貓呀？」虎姑婆慢慢地問著，眼珠彷彿在昏暗的燈光下變得，就像是貓的一樣。
"Oh.....um....I see that, first of all, you are carrying two cats, but there are furs of different colours stuck on your shirt, which, from my judgement, must belong to other cats. Am I mistaken?" smiled Nadia.
「噢....嗯....我是看到您貓籃裡有兩隻貓，可是衣服上所沾黏到的貓毛顏色和牠們都不同，因此我推斷您有好幾隻貓。難道，我猜錯了？」娜迪雅笑著說。
"No, you are quite right!" replied Madame Tigresse, staring at Nadia intently, "And I am here to get some desserts for them."
「你並沒有猜錯！」虎姑婆凝視著娜迪雅說。「我正要來買貓咪甜點的！」
Not long afterwards, Madame Tigresse left after paying for the desserts, leaving Nadia very confused, with a puzzled expression on her face.
不久後，虎姑婆結完帳離開了，娜迪雅似乎感到非常疑惑，臉上掛著在沉思的表情。
