"If Jeffie isn't here, where can he be?" enquired Tiffany.
Suddenly, the mysterious figure of the ghost appeared again at the entrance, after which the group immediately followed. Then, it disappeared down a flight of staircase leading downstairs.
"I didn't know there was a basement in this castle," remarked Nadia as she hurried down the stairs.
"Hurry up, slow pokes. We've gotta save ma Jeffie!" shouted Tiffany as she led the way downstairs, all this while holding the doll that resembled Jeffrey tightly in her hand, with her arm extended in front of her.
After descending the stairs, just when Shaun and Nadia were hesitant about where they should head next, Tiffany exclaimed with certitude, "This way!"
"How do you know?" enquired Nadia.
"I don't, but this doll does!" responded Tiffany. "It seems to be enchanted so that it can lead us there."
Tiffany had just finished her sentence when the group arrived at a wooden door, engraved in a stone wall, which seemed to lead towards a dungeon.
"I think we're here!" concluded Tiffany as she felt the doll tucking at her hands in eagerness to enter the room.
"Why do I have a feeling that all this is too easy? I mean, we could be walking straight into Klaudia's trap!" remarked Nadia.
"We have to be careful, we don't know what's waiting for us in that roo...." Before Shaun could finish his sentence, Tiffany has already kicked open the wooden door, shouting, "Hang on there, Jeffie, we're here to save ya!"
After opening the door, the group entered the poorly illuminated dungeon. Despite the fact that, by then, their eyes were already quite accustomed to the darkness, they still struggled to see clearly. In the darkness, Tiffany bumped into the cold, stone wall and dropped the doll on the floor.
"Where is this place?" questioned Nadia, glancing around.
"I think this is where they imprison prisoners in the Middle Ages," concluded Shaun.
Suddenly, they perceived a muffled sound from a corner of the dungeon. The group groped their way towards the noise, only to discover that, to their utter horror, there was a man lying in a coffin with his hands tightly bound and his mouth muffled by a piece of cloth, beside whom were a vest and two torches that were the sole illumination of the entire dungeon room.
"Jeffrey!" they exclaimed in recognition as they recognised that the man in the coffin was no other than their friend.
"Thank God you guys are here!" said Jeffrey after Shaun quickly removed the piece of cloth that muffled him.
"We're always here for ye, Jeffie," replied Tiffany.
"What happened? Who did this to you? I thought you went to Klaudia's room to fix the heater!" Nadia couldn't stop herself from asking all the questions to which she already knew the answer, but was reluctant to face.
"To be honest, I....I don't know," stuttered Jeffrey, scratching his head. "All I remember was that we were heading towards Klaudia's room when she remembered that she head to get some tools from the basement, I offered to go with her, and then, I just blanked out."

"OMG! A lip print!" Abruptly, Tiffany screamed as she perceived red marks on Jeffrey's neck.
"Hahahahaha!" Suddenly, they heard a sinister cackle coming from the direction of the door, and when they turned around, they perceived Klaudia's looming figure by the doorway, her lips were unusually red.
"OMFG, it's your lipstick!" accused Tiffany. "How dare you kiss my Jeffie without my permission!"
"Nay, foolish girl! It's not a print, it's blood! Hahahaha!"
