Playmobil Detectives: Taipei Love Story-19

The group of friends spent their entire afternoon in the Sanduo Shopping District. Eliza bought some souvenirs for her friends and relatives.

"Tiffany would love this," said Eliza as they walked past clothing boutiques and shops selling discount cosmetics, handbags and daily goods.

"Wow, look!" Jeffrey exclaimed as he perceived a uniquely designed super tall skyscraper in the background. "I like its unusual 'prong' design with two separate sections that merge into a single central tower rising to a spire."

"That's the 85 Sky Tower," said Shaun as he searched information on his phone. "It's the tallest skyscraper in Kaohsiung and the second tallest in Taiwan, which rises 378m above the ground. It was built in 1997 and used to be the tallest building in Taiwan before the completion of Taipei 101."

"378m? That's a lot taller than the Shard, which is the tallest building in the UK!" replied Jeffrey. "As an island located right on a seismic belt, it's a wonder that Taiwan has so many iconic skyscrapers. It seems like both modern and traditional architecture alike in Taiwan never cease to amaze!"

"Speaking of traditional architecture, there's one more must-visit destination in Kaohsiung that we haven't been yet. It's the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas," said Blythe as she glanced at his watch. "We might be able to get there before sunset so we can take photos of the sun setting there."

They arrived at the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas located in Zuoying District just in time to capture the sun slowly sinking on the brink of the horizon, its light reflected by the water of the Lotus Lake, illuminating the entire skyline of Kaohsiung.

"OMG, this is so pretty!" marvelled Eliza. "It feels like I've travelled back in time to ancient China."

According to custom, they entered from the Dragon Tower and left from the Tiger Tower, in which there were paintings of twelve Magi and Baosheng Dadi's thirty palaces as well as paintings of Confucius.

After a long day of touring the glamorous Southern Taiwanese city of Kaohsiung, the group of friends were all exhausted and have decided to go to bed early in their respective hotel rooms. All except for Jeffrey, who was having a restless sleep consisting of a strange dream.
