In her panic, Tiffany grabbed the closest object next to her, which happened to be a book, and flung it at the demon. Although the book didn't hit the target, as the demon had stopped it mid-air, it was able to diverge the attention of the demon, making it let go of Tiffany. As agile as a cat, Tiffany exploited her opportunity and grabbed a candleholder from behind her.
Recalling that the vampire which they have encountered before was scared of fire, Tiffany waved the candleholder threateningly at the demon and gradually advanced towards it. "Go burn in hell, evil spirit!" yelled Tiffany.
Despite being slightly taken aback by Tiffany's sudden move, the demon appeared to be completely unafraid of fire. It simply used her levitation trick again to snatch the candleholder out of Tiffany's hands.
Nevertheless, as quick as lightning, Tiffany ripped off the magic charm, which had been stuck on the door by Shaun to prevent the demon from entering by the door, and waved it in front of her.
"I don't know how powerful this piece of paper with weird drawings on is, but whatever," thought Tiffany out loud. "This'll teach ye not to mess with ma Jeffie!"
As if in response, the demon made a dreadful hissing sound, as it recalled being burnt by the magic charm. In fact, when the demon had touched the handle of the door with the magic charm stuck to it, it felt an extremely painful sensation of being burnt, which had left a black, burnt mark on its hand.
Nonetheless, just when Tiffany was about to plunge onto the demon and stick the magic charm on her, it disappeared, causing Tiffany to fall face-forward onto the floor. "Ouch!" she screamed.
In fact, the demonic entity was able to move with an extremely rapid speed such that it appeared to have 'disappeared', when actually, it was behind Tiffany, with a sinister smile on its face.
Without warning and before Tiffany had the time to stand up on her feet, the demon's golden, braided hair grew longer and longer and, like a snake, began to curl around Tiffany's neck, pulling her up from behind whilst strangling her at the same time.
"HELP! I'm choking......." Tiffany tried to shout whilst she attempted in vain to loosen the knot on her neck, which only grew tighter and tighter every second.
