Playmobil Spies: Alien Attack-2

"Bad timing, Tom!" said Eliza as the two girls dashed under a tree to answer the phone. "It was nearly our turn for ice cream and now, look, the ice cream van is leaving and you've ruined everything!"

"This is no time for ice creams, you lazy girls!" shouted Tom. "If you don't hurry up, Earth will soon be destroyed. Someone is trying to steal the energy of the sun, and it is your mission to save the planet! Hurry up to the location I've just sent you and investigate this further, be careful of......." Without warning, the video-call ended with a 'low signal' message.

"OMG, what's up with Tom?" enquired the bewildered Claire after they hung up. "Has he eaten some dynamite or something? He's never talked to us like that, no matter how urgent the mission is, he always tries to explain everything to us in a nice manner."

"I know, right?" replied Eliza. "Did you hear that? He called us lazy girls! Well, that's a first! I wonder what's got into him? Have we done something wrong? He has no right to talk to us like that!"

"Well, whatever! He's probably had an argument with his wife or something," shrugged Claire. "Nobody ain't got no time for his tantrums. If he doesn't ask us nicely, there's no way we're doing anything. Even if the world is falling apart, manners are still important."

"Couldn't agree more!" replied Eliza. "You know what, let's get on with our jogging and ignore him. The ice cream van couldn't have gone far, we might just be able to find him if we're lucky!"

Just when the girls were about to resume their jogging, they received a message from Tom, indicating the location that they were meant to go to, along with a voice message.

"An energy company? That's new!" mused Claire. "You know what? This mission doesn't seem so bad after all! It might just be able to help me with my dissertation!"

"I wonder what the voice message says, though," said Eliza as she clicked on the link.

"Change your clothes and go to that company! Pretend you are working there as interns and investigate the company! Claire, Eliza, GO!" said Tom's voice.

"Ye.....es sir!" In their shock caused by Tom's stern attitude, both Claire and Eliza replied in unison and took our their phones. They clicked on the 'Attire' app created by the headquarters, selected the 'office lady' outfit, and in the blink of an eye, they were changed into modern dresses.

"Oh gosh! My dress is so ugly!" said Claire as she glanced down at her dark pink dress dotted with blue circles.

"Not to make you feel bad, but you do look like a pink, fat lizard!" said Eliza as she giggled.

Just when Claire was about to retort, they received another message, which says "NOW!" in block capitals.

"Oh bother! I miss the old Tom!" complained Eliza.

"Wait a second!" said Claire suddenly, "The address of this company is in New York, USA! How are we gonna get there? Don't tell me the headquarters have booked a flight for us! I mean, that'd be pretty cool!"

Just then, they received a text message from Tom, which read: "Go to the nearest port. There is a speedboat there, waiting for you. Use that to take you to NYC."

Indeed, after arriving at the nearest port, the spies discovered that there was a speedboat parked there.

"Seriously, Tom?" said Eliza as she rolled her eyes. "Do you even know how long it takes to get to America by this speedboat? It's gonna take up to more than a day! It's like 8 hours by plane!"

After many hours, the spies eventually arrived at the front door of the company. At this moment, a lady in a professional-looking dress walked towards the door and fished out a card from her purse. Only after scanning her card on the card machine did the door open for her.

"Oh buggers! Looks like we need an ID card to enter!" observed Claire. "What are we to do now?"

At that very instant, a car horn hooted. The spies turned around only to perceive a delivery man on a motorbike blowing his horns at them.

"Claire and Eliza," said the delivery guy looking at the bewildered girls. "There's a package for you from the headquarters."

Eliza took hold of the box and was just about to enquire after its contents and how he was able to recognise them when the delivery man zoomed off on his motorbike.

"It must be ID cards!" guessed Claire. "Tom must have known that we'd be stuck outside without them."

Nevertheless, after opening the box, the spies discovered no ID cards. Instead, there were two pairs of contact lenses inside the box, with a note saying: "Wear these whilst you're inside the building. –Tom."

"Seriously?" sighed Eliza. "What are these for? Hello, doesn't Tom know that I have perfect 2.0 eyesight? That's like the only ever perfect thing about me! Besides, how are we gonna get inside this building without an ID card in the first place?"
