After meeting Cinderella's grandmother Lily LaLac, who was also her fairy godmother, the group of friends were surprised to hear that their wishes have already come true.
"Scarecrow," continued Lily LaLac whilst addressing the astonished scarecrow. "Through this voyage in search of the great wizard Ali Buda, you have developed intelligence and wisdom by learning to think of ways to resolve the problems you have encountered. Thus, your wish has already come true, you are now intelligent and wise."
"But...but I don't feel intelligent and wise," replied the scarecrow.
"Well, that's a good sign," answered Lily LaLac. "Real wise men won't be completely content of oneself. They will acknowledge their deficiencies and strive to correct them."
Upon hearing Lily LaLac's words, the scarecrow fell into a deep contemplation.
"What about me?" enquired Mr. knight. "Has my wish come true as well?"
"Of course!" answered the fairy godmother. "From now on, you will never be known as 'the Cowardly Knight' ever again. Through this journey, you have developed confidence in yourself, which is a great step towards courage, without true confidence, courage would only be a useless, empty shell. Intelligence, care, and courage are not things that could be just simply granted to you by others, regardless of their power. Instead, it is something that needs to be developed within yourselves after a great struggle, after you have someone that you feel that needs your protection."
"But...but I'm still afraid to fight the wicked witch so that I can rescue the sleeping princess," said Mr. Knight unconfidently.
"It is normal for people to be afraid," smiled the fairy godmother. "Courage does not imply complete fearlessness. Instead, courage is the ability to overcome your fears. If you love the sleeping princess with all your heart, I am confident that you will be able to overcome your fears of the wicked witch in order to rescue her."
