The following morning, when the spies arrived at the headquarters of the PMSSO, they were immediately told by Tom that there was going to be a new spy joining their team. Nevertheless, when the 'new spy' walked out, their jaws dropped open as they discovered that she was no other than Margaret, Tom's wife!
隔天早上，嬌娃們趕到總部後馬上被湯姆通知說有一名新的探員要加入她們的團隊。然而，當『新探員』現身時，她們的下巴都快掉了下來。因為她不是別人，而是瑪格麗特～湯姆的妻子！
"Very nice to meet you again," said Margaret in her sing-song voice, "It is really an honour to be able to collaborate with the best spies in the PMSSO. I have recently joined the PMSSO and have worked in the headquarters in America. But I have never seen such excellent spies as you before."
「很高興再次見到妳們！」瑪格麗特說。「能跟總部最優秀的嬌娃們合作真是我的榮幸。我不久前才加入組織，並擔任在美國總部的探員。可是，我可從未見過像你們這麼傑出的探員呢！」
"Indeed, Claire and Eliza, you are currently the best spies here," affirmed Tom, "Furthermore, due to an augmentation of the recruitment of new spies, we cannot help but to let the seniors teach the newcomers. Therefore, I am afraid that, in the near future, we will have to split you two up, each working with a new spy."
「的確，Claire 和 Eliza 是總部目前最傑出的嬌娃。」湯姆確認道。「因為最近總部大量錄取新探員，所以我們得讓較資深的去教資淺的。因此，恐怕不久後，我們得將你們兩人拆散，各別和不同的新探員合作。」
"Right, now onto your mission," Tom continued, "The headquarters have just received news that an Italian scientist Banianiotto has began to significantly reduce the amount of greenhouse gases by using a photosynthetic machine, which he has invented, to convert carbon dioxide gases in the atmosphere into oxygen. If done moderately, this is a good thing, as it can counteract global warming. However, from our professional analysis, his intentions are far from being that simple. Our conjecture is that he is planning to relaunch another Ice Age back to the Earth, which will affect millions of people and species. Therefore, your mission this time is to put a stop to his imprudent actions before it is too late."
「好了，現在開始講任務了，」湯姆繼續說。「總部收到最新情報：一名義大利籍的科學家班尼安尼歐托發明了一部仿造光合作用的機器，並用其大量地減少地球大氣層裏的溫室氣體。如果少少的減量，對地球是件好事，因為如此一來，可以幫助減緩全球暖化。然而，根據總部的專業推斷，他的企圖並非如此單純～總部大膽猜測他正計畫著要將另一個冰河時期帶到地球。如此一來，上百萬的生物會受影響。所以，你們這次的任務是阻止他做出這些欠考慮的行動。」
"Wait..." said Eliza, "But how does this Ba....Banana make everything colder...I mean...how can replacing a type of gas in the atmosphere by another cause such a big impact?"
「等等....」Eliza 說。「只是這個....班尼.....唉唷，就叫他香蕉頭吧.....是如何將所有東西都變冷啊？我是說，為什麼替換掉一個氣體就會有這麼大的變化呢？」
"Eliza, surely, this is at the difficulty level of Grade 5 Geography? And I thought you two made it to uni!?" Tom chuckled, "Maggie dear, would you care to explain it to the girls?" By a click on the remote control, Margaret began to explain the Greenhouse Effect to the bewildered girls from a professional slideshow.
「Eliza，這不是應該是小學五年級的地理課程嗎？咦，你們不是上大學了嗎？」湯姆笑著說。「親愛的，你能解釋給這兩位聽嗎？」瑪格麗特立馬按下遙控器按鈕，放出有關『溫室效應』的投影片進行解說。
After Margaret's explanation, to the irritation of Claire and Eliza, Tom applauded loudly whilst Margaret replied modestly. "I'm sure the two best spies in the PMSSO couldn't not know such simple things, they must be testing my explanation skills. I hope I have passed the test?"
經過了瑪格麗特的解釋後，湯姆大聲地讚揚；可是，最令嬌娃們討厭的是，瑪格麗特竟謙虛地答道：「總部最優秀的嬌娃們肯定不會連這個都不懂的，一定是兩人要考考我的解說能力。我這樣還算及格吧？」
Then, the spies were shown a vehicle as Tom elucidated. "This vehicle can both travel on land and water, so you will use this to travel to the island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean where Banianiotto is operating his machine."
隨後，湯姆帶領嬌娃們去看一台車子，並解釋道：「這台車子是水陸兩用的，你們這次就要使用它橫渡太平洋，到班尼安尼歐托的島上去。」
Tom led them to the top of the machine and continued. "This is completely powered by a single solar panel, which is the newest technology of the PMSSO. However, please keep in mind that it is still in the testing stage, so we cannot guarantee that it is completely flawless."
湯姆帶他們到車子的頂部後繼續解釋道：「這台車玩全靠一片太陽能板運行，是總部最新的技術。然而，要記得～這台機器還在測試期間，所以我們不能保障它沒有任何問題。」
