Just when they were starting to panic, suddenly, Claire said, "Aha! We can use the Gadgets App which the headquarters have recently developed. I knew it'll come in handy some day."
正當他們開始慌了的同時，突然 Claire 靈機一動：「有了！我們可以用總部最新研發的『裝備』APP呀！我就知道哪一天它一定會派上用場！」
Then, she took out her phone, clicked on the Gadgets App, selected the tool she desired, pressed OK, and puff, a rope with a hook attached to one end appeared out of thin air.
説完，她便拿出手機，點擊了『裝備』APP，選取了想用的裝備，點選『確定』。然後，一條前端有綁著掛鉤的繩子就出現了在他們的面前。
"Wow! Very well prepared, Claire!" the impressed granny admired, "We didn't have this type of technology back then, imagine having to bring all these tools with us on every single mission!"
「哇！真會妳未雨綢繆呀！」阿嬤讚美道。「想當年我們没有這種科技，像是這種可能會用得上的裝備，每次出任務都得通通背在身上呢！」
Claire flung the rope towards the balcony on the second floor, which hooked right onto it.
Claire 將繩子一抛，掛勾就不偏不倚地掛在二樓的陽臺上。
"Hurrah!" They all exclaimed in one voice.
「噢，耶！！」她們高興的大叫道。
Then, one by one they climbed up the rope and reached the balcony.
然後，她們一一爬上繩索，到達了陽臺。
Luckily, after trying the heart-shaped handle of the door, they discovered it to be ajar.
很幸運的是，他們在試了一下有著心型門把的門後，發現它並没有上鎖。
"Hurry! We have no time to lose!" Grandma whispered as they pushed open the surprisingly cumbersome glass door from the second floor balcony.
「趕快！我們不能再浪費時間了！」阿嬤小聲地説完後，便推開了沈重的玻璃門。
After entering the hair salon, they quickly observed their surroundings. The second floor was quite bare with minimal furniture, and empty shelves. It was quite obvious that someone had arrived before them to clear away all the evidence.
進入美容院後，他們快速地觀察了一下四周，二樓有著極少數的傢俱，櫃子也都空空的。很明顯得有人已經捷足先登，比他們早一步將所有證據銷毀。
As if to prove their hypothesis was correct, they suddenly perceived that on a deck chair in the middle of the room, there was something on it that was completely covered by a piece of blanket.
彷彿要證明她們的推理無誤一般，她們突然發現在一張位在房間正中間的躺椅上有一個東西躺在上面，還被一塊毯子蓋著。
"Looks like we're still too late!" Grandma sighed and walked towards to object.
「看來我們還是太遲了！」阿嬤嘆氣後便走向躺椅。
To their utter horror, as grandma uncovered the blanket, she revealed the singer, whose picture they've seen on the newspaper on their way here, lying there, with her eyes open.
當阿嬤掀開毯子後，他們赫然發現躺在那裡的竟是他們剛剛在報紙上看到相片的女明星！女明星躺在那裡，一動也不動，眼睛還睜得大大的。
After placing her forefinger below the nostrils of the singer, grandma sighed as she discovered that the singer was no longer alive.
把食指放在女明星的鼻孔下後，阿嬤確定她已經毫無生命跡象了。
"This was exactly the same as when I came here for a mission 53 years ago." Grandma spoke after solemnly covering the face of the singer again with the blanket, "The singer was found dead, and Kim Chi, who later on claimed that she had killed the singer accidentally after trying to kidnap her for ransom, was nowhere to be found. It wasn't until several days later that they found her back in Korea."
「這跟我53年前來這裡出任務時的場景是一模一樣的。」阿嬤嚴肅地將毯子蓋回去後説。「女歌星已經過世了，而後來坦承自己是因爲試圖綁架明星爲了討綁票費的金織也已經消失得無影無蹤。她是幾天後纔在韓國被發現的。」
"It was indeed a very tragic event, even after viewing the consequences of it this many years afterwards." Grandma continued after a long pause, "This means that the aim of the old Kim Chi, who had returned to this time, is now quite evident. She is not here to try and undo her accidental murder of this innocent singer; on the contrary, she is trying to destroy all the evidence of this murder, so that her younger self would no longer be sent to jail for all her crimes."
「這麼多年後再次目睹這樣的結果還是感到十分的感慨。」阿嬤停頓了很久後繼續説。「這表示老金織的目的很明顯了。她並不是爲了改變她無意間殺了人這件事情而穿越時空的，而是爲了毀滅一切的證據，這樣她就不會再被抓去關了！」
"Bravo!" Suddenly, a high-pitched voice came from the three o'clock direction, they all turned their heads and, to their terror, perceived the old Kim Chi standing in front of them, her bone-chilling smile still on her face.
「説得好！」突然，一個高亢的聲音從三點鐘的方向傳來，她們轉頭一望，赫然發現討金織就站在她們面前，臉上露出恐怖的笑容。
"No wonder you used to be my best friend, Jenny, you seem to know me very well!" Kim Chi spoke again.
「不愧是我以前的好朋友，阿珍，你挺瞭解我的嘛！」金織又開口説。
"Chilly!? What are you doing here? Stop it this instant! Do not make the same mistake, which you've made fifty-three years ago, again!" Grandma exclaimed.
「辣椒！？你在這裡做甚麼？趕快停止吧！別一錯再錯了！」阿嬤好聲勸道。
"Chilly?" Eliza couldn't help but to burst out laughing despite this serious atmosphere after hearing the amusing name.
「辣椒？」Eliza 不禁在這原本嚴肅的場面噗哧一聲的笑了出來。
"Yes, that's what I used to call her back in the days when we were still best friends!" Grandma explained.
「是呀，我以前都是這麼叫她的！」阿嬤解釋道。
Suddenly, Kim Chi (or should we say Chilly?) strode in front of Granny and pointed at her using her long, bony finger, "How dare you command me to stop? What rights do you have when you snatched away my husband right in front of my face, you ruined my future, and you accused me of stealing your car when you know, despite all the crimes I have committed, that it would be the last thing I would do in the world!"
突然金織大步跨到阿嬤面前，用她那細長的手指著阿嬤。「妳敢叫我停止？你有甚麼資格呀？當面搶走了我的先生，毀了我的美好前途，還誣賴我偷了你的車的人，有什麼資格？」
"What on Earth are you on about now?" Grandma, amazed by Kim Chi's sudden move, demanded.
「你現在又在瞎説什麼？」阿嬤被金織的舉動嚇了一跳後直問道。
"So, you don't admit it, do you?" Kim Chi continued with clenched teeth, "Then I'll recount everything to you in front of your face until you cry to apologise. It was that phone call you made to the headquarters, which had caused that old woman Thompson to change her mind, and let you become the partner of Jack Dashwood in this mission, instead of me! Look at you now, having lived fifty years as Mrs Dashwood, compared to me, living fifty years in jail!" Kim Chi then continued with a sinisterly silky voice, "You knew I have always admired Mr Dashwood, I even told you in the coffee shop after we went shopping, this exact morning before I accidentally killed that singer. Yet, you've chosen to snatch him away from me! If it wasn't for you, I would be the partner of Mr Dashwood for this mission, I would be able to hide all the evidence before the headquarters found out, and, perhaps, he would even ask me, instead of you, to marry me, and I would be Mrs Dashwood for the rest of my life and NOT YOU!" Kim Chi broke out into a fit of violent sobbing.
「好，你不承認是吧？」金織咬牙切齒地說。「那我就一一陳述給你聽，直到你哭著道歉為止。就是你那通打給總部的電話讓那個老女人湯普森突然改變了主意，讓你做傑克・達木的搭擋，而不是我。看看你，做了五十年的達木太太，而我呢？坐了五十年的牢！你也知道我一直都很愛慕達木先生，我在案發的那天早上我們一起在咖啡廳聊天時就告訴你了！但是，你還是選擇把他從我面前搶走！若不是你，我就會是達木先生的搭擋，我就能及時銷毀所有證據，然後，説不定達木先生還會向我求婚，然後現在我就會是達木太太了，而不是妳！！！」金織突然開始大哭。
"And now, I will burn this entire hair saloon to destroy all the evidence, except for your car which you, yourself, drove here and is parked outside right now! So history will be changed! I'll be Mrs Dashwood, and you'll live fifty years in jail! Hahahah!"
「現在，我要將整個美容院都給燒了，這樣一切證據就會被毀滅，除了你那台自己開過來這裡、現在還停在外面的破車以外！這樣，歷史就會被改寫了！我就會是達木太太，而換成你去坐牢！哈哈哈哈！」
After she finished Kim Chi took out a can of petrol, with the bone-chilling smile on her face.
金織講完後拿出了一罐汽油，臉上再次露出恐怖的微笑。
Can grandma successfully stop this mad woman?
阿嬤可以順利制止這個瘋婆子嗎？
