Climbing back up onto the mahogany four-poster bed, Tiffany shook Nadia by the shoulders. "Wake up, Nadia!"
"What's wrong now?" questioned Nadia dreamily with her eyes half-open.
"Can you hear that?" questioned Tiffany, alluding to the banging sound, as she was starting to doubt her own sanity after all the things that had happened that night.
"It's probably just the wind closing some door," responded Nadia as she covered the blanket over her face. "Ignore it and go back to sleep. I'm exhausted."
"NO! I'm scared! I can't sleep with that noise!" complained Tiffany as she snatched the blanket away from Nadia.
"What do you want?" snapped the annoyed Nadia.
"I want you to go and stop that noise!" commanded Tiffany, as if she was ordering her maid back home.
"Are you coming?"
"No, thank you!" answered Tiffany as she crossed her arms, but she soon changed her mind after catching a glimpse of the mummy by the door. "I mean.... I can go with you if you insist."
Then, Nadia sighed as she got out of bed, put on her slippers, walked towards the doorway and clicked the light switch. Nevertheless, they were very surprised to discover that the light wouldn't turn on.
"Goddamnit! Camilla's right about the power cut," erupted Tiffany in frustration.
"Well, grab the candle and lead the way!" Despite being extremely reluctant to lead the way, Tiffany obeyed as she didn't want to stay in that bedroom all by herself.

As the two girls tiptoed down the mahogany staircase, the flickering light coming from the candle in Tiffany's hand casted sinister, dancing shadows on the blood-red wallpapers. With each step, the wooden boards creaked deafeningly like some wild animal. "Stop making so much noise, Nadia!" snapped Tiffany as she glared at Nadia for making the staircase creak louder than herself.
"Well, I'm sorry, but I can't help it!" responded Nadia, shrugging her shoulders.
"Who told you to be as fat as a pig then?" insulted Tiffany under her breath.
Just when Nadia was about to retort, the two perceived a noise behind them. Turning around and under the flickering ray of the feeble light, they could just about make out two figures standing on top of the staircase.
"AHHHHH!" Tiffany screamed as she dropped the candle onto her pyjamas. "AAHHH! I'm on fire!"
Nadia hastily extinguished the flames, but it ended up burning a hole right through her pyjamas. "Goddamnit, my designer PJs that I bought in Paris for 700 quid - ruined!"
"Tiffany, you alright? Don't be scared, it's only us!" whispered Shaun holding a flashlight in his hand as he descended the stairs, followed by Jeffrey.
"Shut up!" yelled Tiffany. "It's all your fault that I burnt my PJs!"
"Were you guys investigating on the origin of the banging noise as well?" enquired Nadia, completely ignoring Tiffany.
"Yep, and it appears to us to come from outside the castle," replied Jeffrey.
