Playmobil Detectives: Taipei Love Story-30

The moment the magic charm was stuck onto the portrait, they heard a burning sound as they perceived the magic charm slowly burnt into ashes in front of their eyes, with the portrait completely untouched. Without warning, Tiffany sat up on her bed, her piercing stare slowly glanced around the entire room and after seeing Jeffrey, fixed her penetrating gaze on him.

"Oh gosh, looks like grandma's spell didn't seal the spirit, but instead managed to free it!" said Jeffrey as he slowly retreated backwards, with Tiffany's sharp stare fixed on him all the while.

"It seems like the evil spirit is too powerful, her resentment is too strong for us to forcefully seal her back into the portrait," responded Blythe's grandma. "Looks like we will have to at least try to listen to and satisfy her needs, whatever they may be; otherwise, I am afraid she might try to do harm to your friend."

Suddenly, as fast as lightning, Tiffany, who was now possessed by Ahuey's evil spirit, stood up from her bed and rushed in front of the petrified Jeffrey and extended her hand to gently touch his face.

"Ahuat, tziah tzeh ni liao ao, wah tzong sung shi tseh dio li ah! Li gueh liao ho bo?" Tiffany said in a foreign language.

"OMG, what's she saying? Some...someone translate, please!" stuttered Jeffrey, who was so frightened but he was unable to move as he seemed to be rooted to the spot.

"She's speaking in Taiwanese Hokkien. She said that after so many years, she has finally found you. And she asks if you're well," said Blythe as her voice trembled slightly. "From now, I'll try to communicate with her."

"He is not the Ahuat you are looking for," said Blythe in Taiwanese Hokkien as she turned her head towards Tiffany, who was now possessed by Ahuey's evil spirit. "You might not realise, but much has changed since your death and the Ahuat you are looking for has already died. You must have misrecognised him, he is our friend Jeffrey."

"Liar!" Tiffany bellowed at Blythe in Hokkien. "He is Ahuat! I know it, I can tell! He has a birthmark on his chest, those were his words when we were kids: 'In our next life, we might not recognise each other. So, when I die, I will wish for a birth mark with the shape of a heart on my chest, close to the position of my heart. That way, you will be able to identify me when we meet again after reincarnation, so we can still be together in our next life. Oh, do you know why I want it on my chest? Because, that way, you'll always be close to my heart.' That man has a heart-shaped birthmark on his chest, so he must be the reincarnate of Ahuat! He might look very different now, but souls can never fool me."

Blythe's translation of the words of the evil spirit left Jeffrey totally flabbergasted, because, just as Tiffany said, there was a heart-shaped birthmark on Jeffrey's chest.

"How....how does she know?" stammered Jeffrey in horror. "I mean, it....it's tiny and... and Tiffany's never seen me shirtless before!"

The group of friends were all astounded by the creepy coincidence of the words of the evil spirt. If Jeffrey was really Ahuat's reincarnate, then what does Ahuey want from him?
