從前從前，有一個壞巫婆，名叫梅莉莎。
Once upon a time, there was a wicked witch whose name was Melissa.
雖然她以前讀巫婆學校時，成績永遠是全班最後一名，經過多年的苦練，她長大後的法力卻是非常地強大。其中，她最善於變身法術，不管是男女老少，她都可以把自己變成那個人的模樣。因此，她的嗜好就是到城裏去惡作劇。
Although she never had good grades whilst in Witchcraft School, after years of hard work, her magic power greatly improved and became very powerful. One of her strengths was to transform into other people, no matter young, old, male or female; which she often used to get herself into mischief in town.
在某一個烏雲密布的早晨，梅莉莎便成了貴婦，然後把一條蟒蛇變成了一隻小狗，準備在街道上惡作劇嚇小孩兒。
On a cloudy, grey morning, Melissa transformed herself into the form of a wealthy lady and transformed a python into a dog in order to scare children on the streets.
果然，有一個小男孩兒看見狗狗很可愛，正當他準備要彎下腰要去摸狗狗時，竟然有一個老太太對小男孩大叫：「小朋友，別碰那隻狗，它不是真正的狗啊！」
A little boy saw the cute dog and was about to bend down to stroke it, when, suddenly, an old lady exclaimed. "Don't touch that dog, it's not a real dog!"
那位老太太究竟是何方神聖，竟能識破巫婆的詭計？原來那位老太太曾經是獸醫，所以對動物的習性、動作都別有一番研究，因此能一眼就識破那隻狗的動作不像是真正的狗。
Who is that old lady that was able to spot Melissa's sinister trick? Actually, the old lady was a retired veterinarian, who was very knowledgeable in terms of animals' behaviours, so she quickly noticed the strange behaviours of the false dog.
果然，被老太太説中了，只見咻的一陣青煙，巫婆梅莉莎現出了原形，狗也變回了一條巨大的蟒蛇。
And the old lady was right, in a puff of green smoke, the wicked witch Melissa transformed herself and the false dog back into their original forms.
小男孩嚇得逃跑了，老太太也嚇了一跳。
On seeing this, the little boy rapidly ran away in fear and the old lady was also shocked by this sudden change.
巫婆梅莉莎的技倆被揭穿，於是惱羞成怒，咬牙切齒地對老太太説：「妳好大的膽子，竟敢壞了我的好事兒！妳給我走著瞧兒，有一天我會報仇的！」説完後，梅莉莎便化成一陣青煙，消失得無影無蹤。
Melissa felt embarrassed and furious after her ingenious trick was revealed by the old lady, so she cursed the old lady. "How dare you reveal my trick and ruin my day! Just you wait and see, I will get my revenge and you will pay for your hateful action!" Afterwards, Melissa disappeared in a puff of green smoke.
梅莉莎一回到家便開始她的復仇計畫。首先，她先叫她的寵物～烏鴉去探聽老太太的住處，打聽到原來老太太一個人住在森林深處的一座農場裏。那裡本來是她先生經營的一間農場，老太太從獸醫的職務退休後便和先生一起經營農場。老太太的先生過世後，老太太便獨自一個人住在農場裏。
On arriving home, Melissa commenced her malicious plan for revenge. Firstly, she asked her familiar- the raven to collect useful information about the old lady. She discovered that the old lady lived all by herself in a farm deep in the forest. The farm was originally run by her husband, after her retirement from being a veterinarian, she helped out on the farm with her husband. After her husband has deceased, she lived in the farm all by herself.
巫婆梅莉莎聽到後便奸笑著：「有了這些資訊，我的復仇計畫就可以展開啦！哈哈哈哈哈～」
Melissa laughed malevolently. "After obtaining all these information, my plan for revenge can begin! Hahahahahaha!"
梅莉莎究竟要用甚麼心狠手辣的方法來報復老太太呢？
What would Melissa do to take her revenge?
