Just when the raging ghost was floating in a rapid speed towards the absolutely terrified Mr Bruce, Jeffrey spoke, "Princess Patricia, prithee forgive the poor soul, he hast reincarnated, so he couldst no longer remember his past, evil deeds. If it be true thou forgive, thy soul wouldst rest in peace for ever!"
正當火冒三丈的鬼魂正以飛快的速度飄向布魯斯先生時，傑佛瑞開口說：「帕特里夏公主，請您原諒這個可憐的人吧！他已轉世投胎，不記得以前曾經做過的壞事了！若您真心地原諒，您的靈魂便能永遠安息！」
"Didst thou calleth me Princess Patricia? Doth thou knoweth mine true identity? Doth thee not bethink me a malicious witch, like every one else doest?" the ghost turned towards Jeffrey, who had, by now, recovered from his shock.
「你剛剛稱我為帕特里夏公主？難道你知道我的真實身份？你不和大家一樣都認為我是巫女嗎？」鬼魂轉向傑佛瑞說。
"Absolutely not, I knoweth thy story, my princess. Thou wast a princess who wast accused of being a witch by thy own sister, who eke undone thy appearance in order to marry a prince who hath felt in love with thee. Am I wrong?"
「不，我知道您的故事，公主。您以前曾是一位公主，被自己的姊姊陷害後毀容了，愛您的王子也因而被她搶走了，是嗎？」
Just when the ghost princess was about to make her reply, suddenly, Shaun, who had been, for the past few minutes, quietly observing the actions of Mr Bruce, exclaimed, "Jeffrey, look! Mr Bruce is running away!"
正當鬼公主準備回答時，突然間，觀察布魯斯先生很久了的孝恩大叫道：「傑佛瑞你看，布魯斯先生要逃跑了！」
Without warning, the ghost whirled around, and on extension of her right hand, the bucket on the well began to float in air; then, sped towards the escaping Mr Bruce and hit him right on the head. He fainted immediately.
突然，鬼魂轉過身來，伸出了右手。隨後，本來在井上的木水桶飄了起來，然後以高速飛向布魯斯先生，並不偏不倚地打在他的頭上。布魯斯先生立刻暈了過去。
Afterwards, the ghost turned to the petrified Shaun and Jeffrey and spoke, "How didst thou knoweth mine story? I bethought it hath been and wilt still continueth as a secret forever!"
然後，鬼魂又轉向嚇壞了的孝恩和傑佛瑞說：「你是怎麼知道我的故事的？我以為它將永遠成為一個無人知曉的秘密！」
"Of course not, mine princess!" Jeffrey continued in Shakespearean, "After thy death, Prince Audrey deceased not long after and left thy sister a widow for the rest of her life. In those time she hadst by herself, she rethought everything she has done to thee and had wholeheartedly regretted them. Ere thy sister's death, she announced to the world her malevolent actions to thou and prayed for thy forgiveness!"
「當然不嘍，我的公主！」傑佛瑞繼續說：「您死去後，奧德里王子也因傷心過度不久後也去世了，留下了您的姊姊便成了寡婦。她獨自一人孤拎拎的過完了一生。在這段時間裏，她反覆回想以前曾對您做過的事，並真心的懺悔了。她向世界公佈了她曾對您做過的事情，並請求了您的原諒！」
Suddenly, they perceived transparent tears falling from the ghost's face onto her cheeks as she replied, "Indeed? Mine lief sister is still kind. Aye, of course, I completely forgive everything that she hadst done to me. Now, mine soul can eventually rest in peace!"
突然，他們看見了透明的眼淚從鬼魂的眼睛裏流了出來，然後她說：「是嗎？我的姊姊其實還是個好人啊！當然嘍，我真心地原諒了她。現在，我的靈魂終於能夠安息了！」
Without warning, the young detectives perceived a small ray of light coming from the sky that shone directly onto the ghost, then the spirit of Princess Patricia floated into the air and followed the ray of light up onto heaven, she can finally rest in peace!
然後，偵探們看見了一道光從天上射出，照亮了帕特里夏公主的鬼魂。隨後，鬼魂便緩緩升上天空，踏上了前往天堂之路。
Whilst she was slowly rising upwards, the spirit of Princess Patricia looked down at the young detectives, she spoke, "Thank thee, young men! May God bless thy kind souls."
當她緩緩升上天空時，帕特里夏的鬼魂低頭看著偵探們說：「謝謝你們，年輕人！願上地保佑善良的你們！」
Then, she disappeared into the dark sky.
之後，她便消失在黑暗的夜空中了。
Then, Shaun and Jeffrey heard the sound of the police siren, and a police officer appeared. After inquiring if anyone has called the police, and getting some information from Shaun, he immediately arrested the criminal, who was still lying on the ground, unconscious.
突然，孝恩和傑佛瑞聽到了警車的警鈴聲，一個警察出現了。詢問是否有人報案，並得到了孝恩的答覆後，他立馬逮補了還躺在地上不省人事的犯人。
Shaun showed the police an audio file which he cleverly recorded on his phone when Mr Bruce explained his intentions for faking the haunted place, including the part where he threatened to throw them into the well.
孝恩給警察聽了他在手機上錄音的紀錄，裏面内容包含了布魯斯先生爲何要僞造那裡鬧鬼，並且要將他們投井的證詞。
"Great job! This is gonna be useful in taking him to jail." the officer said, then inquired, "Did you say there was another criminal named Sebastien?"
「做得好！這些都是有助於你們的證據！」員警說。「你們說還有另一個叫賽巴斯丁的犯人，是嗎？」
"Yes, he ran away after seeing the gh......owwww" Jeffrey replied and was about to mention the ghost when Shaun nudged him.
「是的，他看見鬼後逃走了！」傑佛瑞回答到，然後馬上被孝恩推了一下。
"The gh.....what?" the confused officer asked.
「看見什麼？」員警問道。
"Oh, it's nothing much!" Shaun quickly said, "He thought that the tree over there was a ghost and he ran away in this direction."
「噢，没什麼啦！」孝恩趕緊答道。「他以為那棵樹的影子是鬼魂，就嚇得往那個方向逃走了。」
"I cannot help to say that you two are extremely skillful! How did you single handedly defeat the criminal? Have you considered of becoming a police after you graduate?" the officer said.
「我不得不讚嘆你們倆還真不是蓋的呀！是怎麼徒手打敗犯人的？你們有没有考慮畢業後來當警察呀？」員警說。
Both Shaun and Jeffrey just smiled and did not reply.
孝恩和傑佛瑞只是笑而不答。
After the police and the arrested criminal has left, Shaun inquired Jeffrey, "When you told Princess Patricia that her sister announced to the world her regret, where did you get that from? I'm sure that wasn't included in the story!?"
警察帶著犯人走後，孝恩問：「你告訴帕特里夏公主她姊姊對世界公佈這個故事，是從哪裡看到的啊？我記得故事裏並没提到呀！」
Jeffrey just winked and replied, "Sometimes, some techniques are needed to accomplish a greater good."
傑佛瑞眨著眼說：「有時，做好事也是要有技巧的！」
"Great job!" Shaun said as they headed back to the hotel.
「吼，你還真有你的呀！」孝恩在回旅館的路上說。
