When they got closer to the place again, they saw the same scene happening before them as before. The only difference is that, this time, they did not faint. Then, suddenly, everything was back to normal, as if nothing had happened.
他們再次走近那裡後，又再次看到了和上次一樣的景象。然而，這次不同的是，他們没有再暈倒了。突然間，一切恢復了正常，彷彿什麼都没發生過一般。
Both felt the things they saw extremely suspicious, so they decided to split up and look for clues. After some time of close examination, Jeffrey had an astonishing discovery.
兩人都感到這些事情十分可疑，於是，便分頭進行調查，找尋線索。經過了一番東張西望後，傑佛瑞有了驚人的發現。
"Look what I've found!" he exclaimed in excitement, "This definitely doesn't look that Medieval to me." Jeffrey said as he pointed to a hidden projector concealed by the lush leaves of the trees.
「你看我發現了什麼！」他興奮得說。「這個看起來一點兒也不古老呀！」傑佛瑞指著一臺藏在樹上濃密的樹葉堆裏的投影機說。
"And there's another one here!" Shaun shouted in amazement.
「這兒也有一臺耶！」孝恩驚訝的說。
"But why would anyone want to insert so many projectors here for?" Jeffrey inquired.
「但是，放這麼多投影機在這裡要做什麼呢？」傑佛瑞問道。
"I have a hunch that all of the Medieval people and even the phantom was all fake!" Shaun concluded. "They must be images from those projectors."
「我有預感我們看到的那些中古世紀的人和鬼魂根本就是假的！」孝恩說。「那一定是從投影機射出來的影像！」
"But how did they make it so realistic?" Jeffrey wandered.
「但是，是如何把他們弄的這麼真實的呢？」傑佛瑞問道。
"Simple!" Shaun explained, "They inserted projectors from all over the place, so when each projects a certain perspective of the scene, all the moving images overlap, which makes it look extremely three dimensional. This is called three-dimensional projection!"
「這個容易！」孝恩說。「他們將投影機設置在各個角落，然後每個投影機都投射出從那個方向看到的影像，所有投影機投射出來的影像重疊後，就成了立體的影像了！這叫做立體投影系統！」
"And look!" Jeffrey said as he pointed to a bush tainted with little yellow flowers, "This must be the flower that produced the scent which made us faint the first time we came here!"
「你看！」傑佛瑞指著佈滿了一種黃色小花的花叢說：「這些一定就是會釋放讓我們暈倒的氣味的花朵！」
"Indeed!" Shaun replied thoughtfully, "There are those flowers everywhere, and it definitely seemed to be purposefully planted so. Why else would this deserted place have this type of flower?"
「是呀！」孝恩若有所思地回答道。「這些花在這兒到處都是，看起來像是有人故意栽種的。不然，在這個廢墟裏怎麼可能會長出花呢？」
"But who would want to do such a thing?" the confused Jeffrey inquired. "Surely, there must be a reason to fake a haunted place?"
「那會是誰要這麼做呢？」傑佛瑞疑惑的問道。「不會有人無冤無故造假一個鬧鬼的地方吧！？」
"I have no idea what that person's intention is, but I think I know who it is," Shaun murmured, in deep thought, "Nevertheless, we will need more evidence to prove it. Let's look around and see if we can find more clues!"
「我不知道那個人的企圖是什麼，但是應該知道大概是誰！」孝恩沈思著說。「但仍需要更多的證據證明是他。我們去看看能不能再找到什麼線索。」
What the two young detectives didn't know was that their actions were all quietly monitored by someone hiding in a dark corner...........
兩個偵探不知道的是：他們的一舉一動都被躲在暗處的一個人悄悄地監視著..........
