After a long, strange dream of Medieval kings and queens and wicked witches, Shaun and Jeffrey woke up to find themselves lying on the ground of the ramshackle, where they met the strange encounters. When they sat up, not only did they find everything to be completely normal with the dilapidated houses and broken windows, but also, the sky was the colour of red and orange, indicating that the sun was about to set.
經過了一個很長，有關中古世紀國王和王后和邪惡巫婆的夢後，孝恩和傑佛瑞醒來發現自己躺在他們看見詭異現象的廢墟的地上。當他們坐起來時，他們不但發現那裡並無反常，房子和窗戶都仍殘破不堪，還有，他們赫然發現天空的顏色變成了橘紅色，代表太陽準備下山了。
"How long have we been lying here?" Jeffrey inquired, holding his aching head.
「我們躺在這兒多久了？」傑佛瑞摸著疼痛的頭問道。
"At least eight hours, if my sense of time hasn't failed me yet." Shaun replied.
「如果我的時間觀念無誤的話，大概有八個小時了！」孝恩回答道。
"Looks like the sun would be setting soon," Jeffrey said as he gradually stood up, "We'd better get back to the hotel, I mean, no one with a right mind would want to stay HERE overnight, right?"
「看來太陽準備下山了。」傑佛瑞緩緩站起來後說。「我們還是趕緊回旅館吧，我是說，應該没有一個正常人會想晚上在這兒過夜吧！？」
Shaun, only too eager to leave this place, stood up and headed back to the hotel with Jeffrey by his side.
老早就急著想回去了的孝恩站了起來，和傑佛瑞走回了旅館。
"I don't believe what we've seen in the morning is true at all!" Shaun said after they got back to their hotel room, by then, the sun was completely gone from the horizon. Then, he took out his laptop to search for more clues on the Internet.
「我不相信早上看到的那些是真的！」他們回到旅館後，太陽早已下山，說完，孝恩立馬拿出筆電，準備上網找資料。
Jeffrey went downstairs to get themselves a light supper, after he got back, Shaun said, "Guess what I've found!" as he pushed his laptop towards Jeffrey. He was on an unprofessionally designed webpage, which contained a story. As Jeffrey was reading it, his eyes got wider and wider, and his jaw slowly dropped open.
傑佛瑞下樓去買點兒晚餐填飽肚子，他回來後，孝恩說：「猜我找到了甚麼！？」隨後便將筆電推向傑佛瑞。孝恩正在一個設計極度不專業的網頁上，上面寫著一個故事。傑佛瑞讀到愈後面，他的眼睛睜得愈大，下巴也微微地掉了下來。
Here's how the story went:
故事是這樣寫的：
Once upon a time, there were a benevolent king and queen, who longed for nothing else in the world than to have a child of their own.
從前從前，有一對善良的國王和王后，他們在這世界上唯一的心願就是能擁有自己的孩子。
However, many years after their marriage, the queen was still unable to give birth to a child.
然而，他們結婚多年後，皇后仍尚未懷有身孕。
One scorching summer morning, the King, with a baby in his arms, told the queen a shocking news.
一個炎炎夏日的早晨，國王手裏抱著一個小嬰兒，和皇后説了一件驚人的消息。
"I don't know how to break this news to thou, my dear queen, all I can say is that I am extremely sorry......." The King continued, "One stormy night less than a year ago, when thou went to visit one of thy friends, I became drunk after a grande ball, and I.....I must have mistaken Daisy, the kitchen maid for thou.....and this morning, she gave birth to our child....."
「我真不知道該從哪裡説起呀，我親愛的王妃，我只能説我真的十分的抱歉.......」國王繼續説：「在不到一年前的一個暴風雨的晚上，你那天去找你的朋友，而我在一個舞會裏不幸地喝醉了.....我......我一定是誤認為廚娘黛西是你..........然後，今早，她生下了我們的孩子...........」
Suddenly, Daisy the kitchen maid with tears all over her face appeared in the doorway and immediately knelt down to the queen, "I am so sorry, your majesty, prithee forgive my impertinence. Pray, give me any punishment your majesty wishes, but, please do not banish me from the palace."
突然間，廚娘黛西出現在門口，滿臉淚水的她衝了進來並當場跪在皇后面前：「皇后娘娘，請您大人有大量，不要和奴婢計較呀！您給奴婢任何的懲罰奴婢都心甘情願地接受，但請您高抬貴手，不要把奴婢趕出皇宮！」
