One cloudy afternoon, Eliza, who had just received her driving license, was driving her convertible to the gym with her best friend Claire.
一個烏雲罩頂的下午，剛拿到駕照的 Eliza 正開著她的敞篷車，和好朋友一起去健身房。
"What a perfect weather to go to the gym," Claire said, "We wouldn't be able to go jogging in this weather."
「今天真是去健身房的最好時機！」Claire 說。「要不然這種天氣我們就不能去慢跑了！」
"Looks like it's going to rain very soon!" Eliza agreed.
「看來很快地就會開始飄雨了！」Eliza 答道。
Suddenly, Eliza's phone rang, and she picked up only to discover that it was their classmate- Tiffany calling. "Hello! What's up? I'm driving now, if it's nothing urgent, I'll hang up." Eliza said impatiently.
突然，Eliza 的手機響了，她接起電話後發現是她們的同學～蒂芬尼打來的。「喂！有事嗎？我現在在開車，若不是急事，我要掛斷嘍！」
"OMG OMG OMG!" Tiffany exclaimed, "Of course it's urgent! Look, I found a place where we can do our geography project!"
「噢買尬！噢買尬！噢買尬！」蒂芬尼說。「哎唷！你怎麼這樣啦！當然是急事啦！我找到可以做地理作業的地方了！」
In fact, Claire, Eliza and Tiffany were recently assigned together as a team to complete their geography case study, and they were all recking their brains to think of a good place to test the soil and river pH, in order to analyze the degree of pollution of the area.
事實上，最近 Claire、Eliza 和蒂芬尼被分配到同一組，一起完成地理研究報告。大家正絞盡腦汁，不知要去哪裡才能測量土地及河流的pH值，以便做地區性污染程度的分析。
"Where's that? Your backyard?" Eliza replied coolly.
「在哪兒？你家後院嗎？」Eliza 冷冷地問道。
"Look, I know I have a huge house, but it's still not quite big enough to hold a river!" Tiffany responded, "It....it's a long story. I'll show you! Grab some luggage for three days and meet me at the port at 3:10 ok?"
「哎唷！你怎麼這樣啦！我知道我家大業大，但是後院也還不至於大到可以裝一條河啊！」蒂芬尼答道。「唉唷，說來話長。不如這樣吧～你們去收拾三天的行李，我們在碼頭碰面，如何？」
"Oh bother!" Eliza complained after she hung up, "What's that spoiled girl up to now?"
「真是的！」Eliza 掛完電話後說。「那個千金大小姐又在出什麼餿主意了？」
"Looks like our gym plan is cancelled. I guess we'll have to turn back and grab a change of clothes now!" Claire replied.
「看來健身房計畫要泡湯了。我們只好轉回去拿衣服了！」Claire 說。
On their arrival at the port, their classmate Tiffany was nowhere to be found.
他們來到碼頭時，卻沒看見蒂芬尼的人影。
"Don't tell me this is a prank!" Claire suddenly exclaimed.
「該不會是惡作劇吧？」Claire 大聲說道。
"It sure seems like something Tiffany will do!" Eliza agreed.
「很像蒂芬尼的風格耶！」Eliza 答道。
"Well, it ain't April Fools, so she has no excuse!" Claire mumbled.
「真是的，今天又不是愚人節！」Claire 碎唸道。
Suddenly, the girls heard a familiar voice calling their names. The two were dumbfounded to discover Tiffany waving to them on a yacht!
突然，兩人聽到了一個熟悉的聲音在呼喊她們的名字，並赫然發現蒂芬尼在一個快艇上和他們招手！
Soon, the yacht pulled onto the pier, and Tiffany and a bearded man hopped off it.
轉眼間，快艇靠了岸，蒂芬尼和一個鬍鬚男從快艇上跳了下來。
"Hello girls!" Tiffany spoke with her usual high-pitched voice, "My dad just bought an island located in the Pacific Ocean, and I figured that we could do our case study there. And were going there using my luxury yacht."
「你好啊，女孩們！」蒂芬尼用著她尖銳的聲音說。「我爸最近買了一座位於太平洋海上的小島。我想說我們乾脆去那兒做地理報告吧！坐我的快艇去～」
Claire and Eliza were made speechless by Tiffany's words.
Claire 和 Eliza 聽了蒂芬尼的話都呆住了。
"Don't worry, I have a yacht-driving license. You can go now, McMurdo." Tiffany said to the bearded man, whom they later learnt to be one of Tiffany's servants.
「別擔心！我有開快艇的執照啦！阿摩，你可以回去了！」蒂芬尼說。原來叫『阿摩』的鬍鬚男是她的僕人。
