After breakfast, the friends have had a change of clothes and decided that they'll go and explore their surroundings. "To understand the dream, it is vital to know where we are, so we can acknowledge its cause." Shaun explained.
吃完早餐，大夥兒換了輕便的衣服後決定去探索一下周遭環境。「爲了瞭解這個怪夢，我們得熟悉環境，以便推理出作夢的原因。」孝恩解釋道。
"Alright, I'll set Lina on the track for foxes, their tracks might lead us to our destination, wherever that may be." Nadia announced, after which Lina started sniffing the ground and led them on a path leading towards a dense and eerie forest. The trees were so tightly packed that although it was a bright and sunny day, after the group entered the forest, they lost any sense of time, as it seemed it was always night in the forest. "We have to keep together, guys!" Jeffrey called, "It's best if we walk in twos, Nadia and I will lead with Lina at the front, Shaun, you go with Claire; and Eliza, you go with Stephanie."
「好吧！那我就叫麗娜找尋狐狸的蹤跡，說不定狐狸就是關鍵。」娜迪雅宣佈完畢，麗娜便開始聞著地上，尋找狐狸的氣味，帶領著大家走到一片陰森的森林內。森林裏的樹密度很高，就算那天有晴空萬里的好天氣，大夥兒走進森林內彷彿已經晚上了一般。「我們大家得走在一起。」傑佛瑞喊道。「最好是兩人併排走：娜迪雅和我走在前面，麗娜帶路；孝恩，你和 Claire 一起走；Eliza，你跟史蒂芬尼。」
"My name is..." Tiffany opened her mouth to speak, but was hushed by Nadia. "We don't know what's in this forest, let's keep as silent as possible so we don't lure anything out."
「我的名字是....」蒂芬尼才開口說話，就被娜迪雅制止了。「我們不知道森林裏有什麼，所以最好保持肅靜，才不會把不該引來的東西引出來。」
The trees towered over them, with protruding branches in all shapes and sizes, like clutching hands and fingers, ready to grasp at anything it saw. A thick velvet, the surroundings muffled their senses, as if secluding them from the outside world, making the rustling of their footsteps as deafening as thunder.
樹木聳立在道路的周圍，有著奇形怪狀的樹枝，像是手一般，隨時可以攻擊人。彷彿厚厚的絲絨般，森林蒙蔽了他們的感官，使其與世隔絕，讓小小的腳步聲都如雷貫耳。
After some time in the forest, their pace slowed to a halt. "Lina is struggling to decide which is the best scent as there seems to be two routes." Nadia elucidated. Tiffany grabbed this opportunity and said. "Hey, that's not fair! Jeffie, why do you always walk with Lydia?"
經過了不知多久後，他們的腳步漸漸停了下來。「麗娜無法決定哪一條氣味才是對的。」娜迪雅解釋道。蒂芬尼藉此機會說：「這樣不公平！阿傑，你怎麼一直走在莉迪雅旁邊啊？」
"Oh, um, cos I want to be at the front." Jeffrey, taken aback by this abrupt question, responded.
「噢，嗯，因為我喜歡在前面啊！」傑佛瑞被她直接的問題嚇了一跳。
"Fine then, it's my turn to hold onto Lina now! It's not fair that Lydia can lead all the time!" Tiffany complained and snatched the leash away from Nadia, completely ignoring the fact that Lina was the latter's pet.
「那好啊，換我牽麗娜了！莉迪雅一直牽麗娜，這樣不公平！」蒂芬尼抱怨完便從娜迪雅那裡搶來狗皮帶，完全忽略了其實娜迪雅才是狗主人的這一點。
However, the moment Tiffany took hold of the leash, Lina started dashing around everywhere like crazy; causing Tiffany to lose her balance and be dragged on her face. "OMG! Lydia! Tell this stupid thing to stop!" she screamed.
然而，當蒂芬尼才拿到狗皮帶，麗娜馬上開始瘋狂似的到處亂竄，使得蒂芬尼失去平衡，跌了個狗吃屎，還被臉朝下在地上拖。「噢買尬！莉迪亞！叫這個笨東西停啊！」她尖叫道。
"Lina! Lina! Please stop!" Nadia pleaded, but Lina seemed to be completely out of control. "Lina isn't usually like that, she was never afraid of strangers. It's because she found a new scent, so she's really excited."
「麗娜！麗娜！快停止啊！」娜迪雅請求道，可是麗娜像失控的一般。「麗娜平常不是這樣的，她都不怕生。這次是因為找到了新氣味，所以格外興奮。」
After Tiffany let go of the leash, Lina immediately went back to normal and started walking at the usual pace again. The group hadn't been walking for some time before they were forced to stop again. This time, it was Tiffany again. "Ouch! My foot!" Tiffany screamed.
蒂芬尼一放開狗皮帶，麗娜頓時恢復了正常，並開始用原來的步調前進。大夥兒還沒走多遠，又被迫停止了～這次又是蒂芬尼。「唉唷喂呀～我的腳！」蒂芬尼尖叫道。
"What now?" Eliza replied, annoyed.
「又怎麼了？」Eliza 很煩地答道。
"I've just twisted my ankle in that demmed hole there." Tiffany exclaimed, pointing to a hole on the ground, as she sat down on the side. Claire, walking over to examine Tiffany's ankle, perceived that the latter was wearing heels. "Well, no wonder you'll twist your ankle, why are you even wearing heels whilst trekking?" Claire queried, bewildered.
「我剛剛在那個洞裡拐到腳了啦！」蒂芬尼指著一個洞後便坐在地上。Claire 走過去關心，赫然發現蒂芬尼竟穿著高跟鞋。「你不拐到才怪咧！誰叫你穿高跟鞋！」
"Cos I'm the shortest here, if I don't wear heels, no one will notice me. Especially Jeffie." Then she started sobbing so pitifully, that even Lina went over to her, but, in the end, resorted to peeing on her again.
「我是這裡最矮的啊，如果我不穿高跟鞋，都沒有人會注意到我！尤其是阿傑！」說畢，她便開始啜泣了起來，樣子楚楚可憐，就連麗娜都湊過去安撫她，可是最後還是決定在她身上尿尿。
