Eliza searched thoroughly through the bushes, but neither did she find anything, nor did the sound repeat itself again. Eventually, she decided to give up, and returned to the tree where she left Tiffany. However, the latter was nowhere to be found. "She must have finished and returned to the group, thinking that I have ditched her." Eliza thought to herself.
Eliza 仔細地找遍了樹叢；然而，不但她什麼也沒找到，而且，聲音也沒再出現。最後，Eliza 還是決定打道回府，回到了蒂芬尼剛剛上廁所的樹那裡。可是，後者已經不見蹤影了。「她一定是以為我拋棄了她，所以自己歸隊了。」Eliza 心想。
She hurried back to rejoin the waiting group, but didn't perceive Tiffany there either. "Guys, did you see Tiffany?" Eliza inquired.
她趕回去隊伍在等的地方，可是在那兒也沒看見蒂芬尼。「咦，你們有看到蒂芬尼嗎？」Eliza 問道。
"No! Didn't you accompany her to the loo?" Claire responded. Then, Eliza explained the situation to everyone.
「沒有啊！你不是陪她去上廁所？」Claire 答道。Eliza 這時才解釋了狀況。
"Don't worry, she won't be able to go far with that twisted ankle of hers." Jeffrey replied, but Shaun seemed especially agitated. "Looks like it has commenced earlier than I had anticipated." he muttered.
「別擔心，她腳扭到走不遠的！」傑佛瑞答道。然而，孝恩似乎感到格外的不安。「看來，事情發生的時間比我預料的要早。」他喃喃自語道。
"What do you mean?" Claire inquired.
「什麼意思啊？」Claire 問道。
Before Shaun could elucidate, Jeffrey exclaimed, "Look! There's Stephanie!"
孝恩還來不及解釋，傑佛瑞就喊道：「你們看！史蒂芬尼不就在那兒嘛！」
Indeed, the rest perceived Tiffany's figure in the distance slowly approaching them, but she was laughing all the time and seemed to be talking to herself. "What on Earth is she doing?" Eliza questioned, bewildered.
果然，其他人也看到蒂芬尼在遠方緩緩地朝他們走來，可是她一路上似乎一直在笑，還自言自語的。「她在幹嘛啊？」Eliza 疑惑的問道。
As Tiffany reached them, Eliza went forward and scolded. "Where were you, Tiffany? You just disappeared suddenly, do you know how worried everyone is for you?"
蒂芬尼走近後，Eliza 便走向前斥責道：「蒂芬尼，你去哪兒啦？你突然間不見了，你知道大家有多擔心你嗎？」
Abruptly, Tiffany seemed to snap back into focus and stared at Eliza like she had just seen a ghost, then she screamed. "OMG! How did you change back so fast? Are you a witch or something?"
蒂芬尼這時才好像頓時回了神，並看著 Eliza 好像看到了鬼一樣，大聲尖叫道：「噢買尬，你什麼時候換回來的？你是妖精嗎？」
"I have no idea what the heck you're talking about. Can you make some sense for once in your life? And can you kindly tell me who you were talking to just now?" Eliza replied impatiently.
「我完全不知道你在說些什麼。還有，可以請你告訴我你剛剛在跟誰說話嗎？」Eliza 不耐煩地問道。
"I....I....was talking to you!" Tiffany stammered, "I stood up to see you with a changed set of clothes and you told me to go the other way. Then.....then you were telling jokes to me, and...and...."
「我....我....在跟你講話啊！」蒂芬尼結巴地說。「我站起來就看到你換了一身衣服，然後是你叫我走另一邊。然後.....你還說笑話給我聽.....還有.....」
The group was so engrossed in their conversation that, only then, did they notice that Lina was barking at Tiffany all the time. "Gosh! Tiffany, did you touch a fox?" Nadia queried, "Lina said you smell like foxes." Tiffany shook her head.
大家很專注地聽著兩人的對話，現在才察覺到麗娜一直對著蒂芬尼狂吠。「天啊！蒂芬尼，你有摸狐狸嗎？」娜迪雅問道。「麗娜說你身上有狐騷味！」蒂芬尼搖了搖頭。
"Wait a sec, what's this?" Claire said as she pulled off a strand of orangish-red hair from Tiffany's shoulder. "That's fox's fur!" Nadia concluded after examining it closely.
「等等，這是什麼？」Claire 從蒂芬尼的肩膀上抓下了一根橘紅色的毛。
「那是狐狸的毛！」娜迪雅仔細地觀察後說。
"Aha! I know your trick too well, Tiffany! You must have seen a cute baby fox and followed it off track, but you're scared that we'll tell you off, so made up that pathetic excuse!" Eliza accused.
「哼！你別想瞞過我，蒂芬尼！你一定是看到了一隻可愛的狐狸寶寶，然後一直跟著牠，才會脫隊。然後你怕我們罵你，才隨便編了個謊吼？」Eliza 直問道。
"No! I swear, that's really what happened. I didn't lie about a single thing!" Tiffany appeared so earnest that everyone eventually believed her. But who was the Eliza that Tiffany had been talking to which seemed invisible to everyone else? And how did her ankle recover so fast?
「沒有啦！我發誓，事情的經過真是如此！我沒說謊啦！」蒂芬尼的表情看起來是那麼的衷肯，大家最後還是決定相信了她。可是，之前和蒂芬尼在講話的 Eliza 又究竟是誰？還有，蒂芬尼的腳踝怎麼這麼快就好了呢？
