The scene that came into view was no other than an oriental mansion, with a luxurious Chinese garden, a grand porch, Chinese couplets stuck on doors, and, last but not least, it was buzzing in and out with people. It was just like a carnival, visitors were swarming everywhere, celebrating, with people playing drums, horns and trumpets.
映入眼簾的景象竟是一棟東方大宅院，有著氣派的中式花園、庭院、門上還貼著春聯，最重要的是～屋裏屋外皆是人，好像在慶祝什麼一樣。有人打鼓，有人吹號角，真是好不熱鬧啊！
"I didn't know there was a house here!" Jeffrey whispered.
「我都不知道這兒有間房子耶！」傑佛瑞小聲的說。
Without warning, someone tapped them on the shoulders. They turned around only to see Claire standing behind them. "Claire? When did you wake up?" Shaun questioned astonishingly.
突然，有人將手搭在兩人的肩上，他們轉過來赫然發現 Claire 站在身後。
「Claire？你怎麼也醒了？」孝恩驚訝的問道。
"Oh, I heard your voices and woke up to see you leaving." Claire replied. "Then, I followed you here. What are you looking at?"
「噢，我聽到聲音，然後看見你們離開。」Claire 答道。「於是便跟著你們來到這兒。你們在看啥啊？」
Shaun simply pointed to the scene in front of them, which was, surprisingly, still there, as real as ever.
孝恩指著眼前的場景，令人驚訝的是～竟然一切都還存在。
Claire gasped, but didn't seem too surprised. "It looks like a wedding," after her conclusion, she started sniffing the air.
Claire 驚嘆一聲，可是感覺起來並不驚訝。「看起來是一場婚禮呀！」她說完便開始聞著空氣。
"Do you smell that? It's the smell of food! Oh dear, I am so starved, I haven't eaten anything since breakfast. Come on, brother, let's go!" Claire said as she hurried towards the scene. Jeffrey, overpowered by curiosity, decided to follow; and Shaun, on the other hand, was worried about his sister's safety, was also obliged to pursue the two.
「你們聞到了嗎？那是食物的味道！天啊！我從早餐到現在什麼都沒吃，真是餓壞了！哥，咱們走吧！」Claire 說畢便興奮的往屋子的方向前進。被好奇心擊潰了的傑佛瑞也跟了上去；孝恩則是擔心妹妹會有生命危險，所以只好跟著兩人的腳步。
Indeed, as they approached the buzzing scene, the smell of food got stronger. Jeffrey's stomach grumbled, as if begging him to hurry up.
的確，他們愈走接近，食物的味道愈濃。傑佛瑞的肚子大聲地叫著，彷彿在催他動作快點兒。
They didn't have to walk long before eventually encountering the tasty source of the pleasant smell. In the garden, there was a gigantic, round table full of all sorts of delicious Chinese delicacies: from savoury dumplings of various shapes and sizes to appetising steamed buns straight from the steamer; and not to mention the exquisite traditional rice cakes enveloping sweetened red bean paste as dessert. The group had to stop themselves from drooling on the spot. Seeing many other people already sat at the table, eating, Jeffrey immediately sat down without hesitation and started grabbing some food using his poor chopstick skills.
他們走了不遠後，果然看到了香味的源頭。在花園裏，有著一個巨大的圓桌，上面擺滿了琳琅滿目的美味中式佳餚：從令人垂涎三尺、五花八門的餃子到剛從蒸籠裏拿出來、還熱騰騰的肉包子應有盡有，更別提那盤精緻的紅豆糕了。三人差點兒沒當場留下口水。看到了已經有許多人坐在桌子後面開吃了起來的傑佛瑞便毫不猶豫的坐了下來，用著他很遜的筷子功開始夾菜吃。
"Come on, brother, there are two more seats here!" Claire pulled the chairs out and sat down herself, picking up a pair of chopsticks, ready to eat.
「來吧，哥，這兒還有兩張椅子呢！」Claire 拉出了椅子後自己也坐了下來，準備開始享用美食。
At first, Shaun still hesitated about eating food from an unknown source, but, after seeing his sister and friend eating happily away, couldn't resist the temptation of his hunger and started eating too.
起初，孝恩還是有些猶豫到底要不要吃來路不明的食物，但是，後來看到了妹妹及好友都大口的吃了起來，也便開始填飽肚子了。
