The first round went by in an extremely exciting manner, the two ladies' skills were very similar. However, it eventually ended with Tiffernini being forced to the ground by Princess Aarika.
"The Queen's position will be mine," hissed Princess Aarika to Tiffernini as her spear was only inches away from the latter's face during the tournament. "You're not worthy enough to be a queen!"
The second round ended with Tiffernini as the winner. Eventually, it was the last round - the decisive round where the final winner will be announced. The entire audience seemed to be holding their breaths when Tiffernini's sword and Princess Aarika's spear flashed in the air, as fast as lightning.
"Do you want to know something?" enquired Princess Aarika as their weapons clashed.
"I have no interest," responded Tiffernini as she tried to pierce through Princess Aarika's defence, however, to no avail.
"The Pharaoh has already pre-chosen me to be Prince Tephoim's wife," smirked Princess Aarika as her spear flew past Tiffernini, "He said that you're unworthy to be the queen, as royal blood does not flow in thy veins. He has only done this tournament to make your persistent father speechless."
On hearing this, Tiffernini paused in astonishment. Immediately, Princess Aarika, who grabbed hold of this perfect opportunity, knocked away her sword and pointed her spear at Tiffernini's face. The latter was too awestruck to react, and could only lie on the floor, panting.
"Stop!" exclaimed Pharaoh Amenkhamen, "I, hereby, announce the winner of this tournament to be Princess Aarika!" At this announcement, the crowd cheered deafeningly as Prince Tephoim walked forward to lead his fiancee to his father. "The wedding will take place on the following week," the Pharaoh continued, "Princess Aarika, congratulations! You have successfully become the Princess of the Great Egyptian Empire, wife of Prince Tephoim, the future ruler. How do you feel about this?"
"Your majesty, I feel extremely honoured," replied Princess Aarika, "I feel that I am somewhat unworthy of this great title; nevertheless, I will do my best to be Prince Tephoim's perfect wife, and a perfect role model as the Queen of Egypt." In the conclusion of her speech, the crowd applauded yet again.
