Playmobil Fairy Tales: Swan Lake-2

One evening, Sabrina's maid Zelda rushed hastily into the queen's bedchamber, only to discover that the queen was on the terrace, enjoying the view of the full moon.

"Your majesty....your majesty," panted Zelda.

"Zelda, why are you panting?" enquired Sabrina, "Come, you'll calm down after enjoying the view of the moon for a while."

"Your majesty, 'tis no time to calm down!" Zelda began to report what she had overheard only several minutes ago. "I've heard his majesty saying to his valet that his illness seemed to have worsened, he deemed that he won't have much time left and it was time to choose the heir to the throne....." Zelda deliberately stopped mid-sentence to attract the queen's attention.

"And what business is that of mine?" enquired the naive Sabrina.

"His majesty has not mentioned Prince Javier's name," exclaimed Zelda whilst trembling in her excitement, "He said that he was thinking of making Prince Edmund the heir."

"So that's what you were fussing about!" exclaimed Sabrina, "But isn't that very normal, to pass the heir to the eldest son? I don't see a problem with that. I have never anticipated my son to become the future king."

"You don't understand, your majesty!" The middle-aged maid was of no malevolent disposition, however, she was always fussy about trivial things, reluctant to be put at a disadvantage, and always wanting the best for Sabrina. "His majesty also mentioned about matrimony for Prince Edmund. And if he really did marry, his wife may persuade him to kick you out of the palace."

"Oh, I'm sure Prince Edmund wouldn't allow that!" replied Sabrina, "It is getting late, I'm tired of this pointless conversation. I will soon be retiring to bed and you should, too."

"No, your majesty!" persisted Zelda, "It might not be just you that the new bride will persuade Prince Edmund to kick out, she might dislike Prince Javier and want to kick him out, too! This is definitely not pointless."

"It is indeed not pointless," responded the queen with a yawn, "However, this is all your conjectures. We don't know whom Prince Edmund will marry, thus, all this is meaningless."

"I've heard rumours that he'll marry the haughty, arrogant and narcissistic Princess Esmeralda from the neighbouring country," continued Zelda, finally satisfied of getting the queen's attention, "And if it is indeed her, I'm afraid our lives will all be a living hell!"

"Then what shall we do?" the queen began to be anxious for his son.

"Do not worry, your majesty," answered Zelda, "Leave this to me, and I will do my best to ensure the safety of your majesty and your highness."

That evening, Zelda summoned the famous sorceress Narcissa.

What is Zelda planning to do?
