It was a windy summer morning in 2017. Claire and Eliza were on the golf course. "OMG! How many more holes do we have left?" enquired Eliza as brushed her hair off her face.
"Seriously? We've literally just started," replied Claire as she performed a perfect swing, sending the ball into the next hole in one shot.
"Ergh! I am already feeling that golf isn't my cup of tea!" Eliza groaned as her ball landed in the lake nearby.
Just when Claire was about to reply, Eliza's phone rang.
"Who could it be?" mumbled Eliza as she fished out her phone. "OMG! You're not gonna believe who it is!" Eliza said as she showed Claire her phone.
"It's Tiffany!" Claire exclaimed after seeing an incoming video-call from their old high-school classmate.
"Hiya, gals! How ya doin'?" Tiffany's high-pitched voice said after Eliza answered call. "Long time no see! Eliza, is it just me or you've got fatter? Lolz!"
"OMG, Tiffany, you're still the same! As annoying as ever! Haha JK!" Claire responded.
"Hey, wanna hang out tonight? I'm hosting my birthday party! Let's go eat dinner and do some karaoke afterwards!" said Tiffany.
"OMG! I almost forgot! It's your birthday today, innit? Sure, count us in!" exclaimed Eliza, "Where? Is anyone else coming? Just the three of us?"
"Yeah, just us! Oh....um! Bring Jeffie as well, and um....Claire's brother.....what's his name? It's gonna be fab!" Tiffany said as she blushed, alluding to Eliza's handsome cousin Jeffrey, "Oops! Gotta go now, will send you the location and details later on! Ttyl!"
That evening, Claire, Eliza, Eliza's cousin Jeffrey and Claire's brother Shaun arrived at the restaurant indicated by Tiffany. As the waitress led them to their table, they perceived that Tiffany was already there, waiting for them but sound asleep.
