Playmobil Detectives: Taipei Love Story-33

After boarding the Taipei Metro from their temporary residence at Blythe's grandma's apartment, they alighted at the Taipei 101 MRT Station and arrived at the core of the glamorous Xinyi District, which was often known as 'the Manhattan of Taipei' for its modern skyscrapers, luxury shopping malls with numerous high-end brands, fancy Michelin restaurants, and picturesque night views.

"There are 16 department stores in Xinyi District, which one should we go to first?" enquired Eliza, overwhelmed by the density of shopping malls in the district, which is in fact the highest in the world.

"Don't worry, I've already planned out our shopping route," replied Blythe. "First, Taipei 101 Mall, then Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store, then finally, Bellavita Shopping Mall. Just follow me!"

"Then what're we waiting for? Let's shop till we drop!" exclaimed Claire in ecstasy.

"Oh bother," sighed Jeffrey.

After several hours of walking in and out of countless shops, from dress stores, jewellery shops to shoe shops, the group of friends left the shopping mall holding numerous bags. In fact, they bought so many things for Tiffany that they had to buy a suitcase to store everything in.

"Alright, what else do we still need? We've got Shaun's suit and belt, Claire's dress, Eliza's gown and high heels and Jeff's suit with a tie," counted Blythe, who didn't buy anything for herself as she could just get them from home. "And last, but by far the most important items on our list, Tiffany's wedding dress and jewellery. Well, that's fantastic! It sure looks like we're all set for tomorrow's wedding!"

"I hope Tiffany will like the wedding dress I've chosen for her," said Claire. "I remember that she's one size bigger than me, so hopefully that shouldn't be a problem."

"Congratulations on your wedding, Mr. Jeffrey Donovan!" joked Eliza as she poked her cousin's arm. "Can't believe Tiffany will soon become Mrs. Donovan!"

"Geez, stop making it sound like it's really my wedding!" complained Jeffrey, who was still terrified at the idea of marrying Tiffany, despite knowing very well that it was Ahuey in Tiffany's body.

"Oh, don't you worry, Jeff. I'll make sure I take loads of photos to make it the most memorable day of your life, so I can show them to your friends and of course, Aunty Jane and Uncle Ben, after we get back. Lol, they'd be soooo surprised!" chuckled Eliza as she imagined the expression on the face of Jeffrey's parents after she showed them their son's wedding photos.

"Don't ye dare!" retorted Jeffrey, jokingly. "They'll legit have a heart attack, I'm telling ye!"
