"How is the practice session going, Sandy?" enquired Mr Ng.
"Everything's going as planned, Felix," replied Sandy. "We have the best models from around the world this time, which can greatly expand our collection."
Without warning, the buzz of a mobile phone sounded. Mr Ng instinctively turned around, and shouted. "Who's there?" However, after perceiving that no one was in sight, he relaxed a little. "It must be a new message from the supervisor, asking for my advice la," he concluded when, suddenly, his eyes landed on two mannequins on the side, dressed as a vampire and a French maid respectively.
"Sandy, why do we have those ugly mannequins here?" demanded Mr Ng as he pointed at the two mannequins. "I told you already la, I don't want any imperfect mannequins here. They are too hideous to be placed amongst the other perfect works of art. I demand it to be removed immediately."
"Yes, dear. I'll call someone to remove them now," responded Sandy.
Only after perceiving that the couple were out of earshot, did Claire and Eliza dare to take a breath. In fact, the two mannequins dressed as the vampire and French maid were Claire and Eliza in disguise.
"Phew! That was super close!" sighed Claire as she wiped away drops of sweat from her forehead.
"OMG, I know right! We were nearly caught when my phone buzzed," answered Eliza as she quickly checked her phone. "Gosh! It's a message from Tom, saying that the headquarters have just received news that the disappeared models have recently reappeared in queer places scattered all over the world, and seemed to have displayed symptoms of amnesia in various levels, where, in milder cases, they could not recall what happened in the past few weeks; whereas in more serious ones, the disappeared models could not even recall their own name or identity. He said this has made the police completely baffled and even more clueless about the case."
"Wow! That's a weird clue!" concluded Claire after a short pause of taking everything in.
"Well, whatever this clue means, I'd not be surprised if it's got something to do with that Mr Ng and Sandy," responded Eliza with eyes flashing and nostrils flaring. "How dare he insult our appearance!"
"You don't say! He even called us 'ugly', 'imperfect' and 'hideous'! Unforgivable!" exclaimed Claire furiously, clenching her fists. "Looks like it's time to do some serious spying to get to the bottom of this damn case and take revenge on that Mr No Good."
"Lol, how I love your puns. But, first things first, we've gotta change out of these outfits," concluded Eliza. Without further ado, the spies selected their spies outfits from the smartphone app designed by the headquarters, and in the blink of an eye, they were immediately changed into them!
"This app's actually pretty handy!" admired Claire.
