Playmobil Spies: Mannequin Madness-5

Only after Claire stood up, dusted off her vampire costume and examined her make-up in a portable mirror to make sure that it was not ruined, did she perceive what Eliza had been fussing about. In fact, on the floor, next to the pool of water on which Claire slipped, and, stuck in-between a tiny crack, was a piece of black cloth.

"Hmmm......why would there be a piece of cloth stuck in-between a crack?" wondered Eliza, suddenly growing very interested.

"Probably someone's petticoat was torn by getting stuck in the crack LOLz," responded Claire. "Anyways, we've gotta hurry up if we don't wanna be too late!"

"Who wears petticoats these days?" replied Eliza.

"I dunno, someone acting as a Victorian lady?" shrugged Claire. "Who cares? Let's get back to the show, okay?"

"This is just too fishy to be ignored." On the conclusion of her speech, Eliza bent down and reached out for the piece of cloth, intending to pull it out completely.

"No.....it might be a tra....." exclaimed Claire. However, it was all too late. Before Claire could finish her sentence, Eliza had already pulled out the piece of cloth, and a gaping hole revealed in the middle of the floor caused by overturned floorboards. Then, without warning, a huge turbulence of air emerged from the gaping hole, pulling the spies inwards.

"OMG! Help! HELP!" The spies screamed and tried to hold on to the floor. Nonetheless, all was in vain as the turbulence was way too powerful. Eventually, the spies could hold on no longer, and let go of their hands.

After seemingly to have fallen for ages, the spies finally landed on a cold, hard floor - Claire on top of Eliza. "OMG, get off me, Claire! You're so heavy!" screeched Eliza, trying to push Claire away.

"Hello? You landed first, that means you're heavier!" retorted Claire, brushing off her clothes and checking out her make-up yet again. "Not to mention that I've just lost weight, thanks to the diligent gym-going and the 'No-Carbs-on-Tuesdays Diet'."

"What? I thought lighter objects land first," responded Eliza, fixing her hair and straightening out her clothes. "Isn't that what the experiment Hawking did on the Eiffel Tower showed? You know.....dropping his  balls and such...."

[This has nothing to do with the story, but none of them were right. In fact, whichever object lands first does not depend on its mass; and FYI, this experiment was done by Galileo on the Leaning Tower of Pisa......nowhere even close to the Eiffel Tower!]

What adventures are waiting for the spies in the next episode?
