"OMG! Look at this long queue, how long do we have to wait for?" complained Tiffany as she brushed her hair back in frustration after glancing at the queue in front of their check-in counter at the airport. "If it wasn't because my dad had to go on an urgent business trip, we could've boarded my private jet. OMG, look at this queue! Is it ever gonna be our turn?"
"Calm down, Tiffany!" replied Eliza coolly. "We've literally just got into the queue. You're just too used to your life of luxury so that you cannot conform to ordinary standards."
"On the bright side, I can't believe we're actually going to the South of France!" exclaimed Claire, trying to change the topic. "OMG, I can't wait to sunbathe on the Côte d'Azur."
"OMG, I've had enough of this!" screeched Tiffany. "Imma talk to that woman there and ask her if that's how they treat their customers- making them wait in line for such a long time!"
"No.....Tiffany stop, you're just making people's lives more difficult!" reasoned Eliza as she tried to stop her impatient high school classmate. "It's the same in any airport anywhere! Even if you've never flown on passenger airlines before, at least act like you have and stop being such a freak!"
"Oh, look! It's already our turn!" exclaimed Claire as she pointed to the counter, where her brother- Shaun, his friend who was also Eliza's cousin- Jeffrey and their friend Nadia were already showing their passports and luggage to the ground staff. That statement stopped Tiffany trying to dash to the counter, but didn't stop her complaints. "I'm so gonna file a customer complaint to this airline."
"How many of you are travelling together?" enquired the attendance lady at the counter.
"There are six of us," replied Shaun.
"I'm very sorry but I'm afraid that there are not many seats left to choose from in this flight, because it is very full. Do you mind sitting apart? I have one set of three seats, and another set of two, so one of you will have to sit alone," said the lady after looking at the computer screen.
"I'm sitting with Jeffie!" exclaimed Tiffany after hearing this information, with her former complaints completely forgotten.
"That's fine! I'll sit alone," said Jeffrey to the attendant, pretending not to hear Tiffany's words.
"Sure!" replied the attendant. "Mr Donovan will sit alone at the front of the aircraft, Ms Evans and Mr Lee will sit together in the middle, and the rest will sit together at the back. Is that alright?"
"NO, it is NOT! Are you deaf or something? I said I'm sitting with Mr Donovan!" screamed Tiffany, who was quickly dragged away by Eliza.
"Yeah, um, it's fine!" replied Shaun whilst casting his glance back at Tiffany. "Ignore our friend......she......she needs anger management class."
