On the following morning after the appearance of the three ghost samurais, neither Shaun nor Jeffrey had any energy, both extremely exhausted after the sleepless night caused by their extraordinary encounter. First thing in the morning, Shaun logged on to his laptop, and started doing some research.

However, many hours of research, was all in vain, as they couldn't find anything of any relevance to their encounter. Even Jeffrey, who was known to be a genius in History, couldn't make himself useful as he knew nothing about Asian history.

Just when they were wrecking their brains to think of some other method, Mrs Lee appeared. After Shaun has recounted their unusual encounter to his mother, Mrs Lee had an idea.
正當他們絞盡腦汁要想別的辦法時，李太太出現了。孝恩告訴媽媽昨晚所發生的事後，李太太有了個好主意。
"I have known all along that there is something wrong with that vase," Mrs Lee concluded after hearing the news, "From my experience, the vase could be made out of the Samurais' bone ashes, therefore, wherever that vase is, they will appear. Now, the only method to get rid of their spirits which couldn't rest in peace is to burn that vase!"
「我就知道那個花瓶有問題！」李太太聽完敘述後說：「根據我的經驗，花瓶很有可能是由那三個武士的骨灰所燒成的。現在，唯一能擺脫那三個冤魂的辦法就是把花瓶燒了！」
"Hmmm, looks like we've really got some supernatural mystery in our hands!" Jeffrey exclaimed excitedly.
「哼～看來我們還真的有超自然現象的案子在我們手中呢！」傑佛瑞興奮地說。
"I'm not so sure yet!" the unconvinced Shaun replied, "They might not be ghosts, after all. Who knows, they might be the followers of the weird, old of man, whom we bought the vase from, acting as ghosts just to prove that he is right in 'seeing my past' or something. We'll get to the bottom of this mystery!"
「我們還不確定呢！」孝恩回答說：「說不定他們跟本就不是什麼鬼魂，只不過是那個賣給我們花瓶的奇怪老人的追隨者，為了要讓他看起來好想說中了我的前世一樣，所以假扮成幽靈。我們一定要讓真像水落石出！」
After some preparation, Mrs Lee placed the vase in the furnace, lit the fire, and started chanting some spells that are traditionally used to calm the spirits of the dead.
經過了一番準備後，李太太將花瓶放在火爐裏，點燃了火，並開始嘴裏念念有詞，念著能讓冤魂安息的咒語。
The vase, as anticipated by Mrs Lee, was extremely stubborn under the fire, it took some time before it was eventually burnt down to ashes. Then, after the ashes have cooled down a little, Mrs Lee swept them into a plastic bag, and dumped it in the rubbish bin, with which the contents were emptied into the garbage truck in the afternoon.
花瓶，就如李太太所料想得一樣，非常的頑固，花了好久的時間才好不容易將它燒成了灰燼。然後，等到灰都已冷卻，李太太把它全部掃進垃圾桶裏，下午，垃圾車就把它帶走了。
However, despite all these efforts, the three samurais appeared again at midnight, this time in Shaun's room.
然而，費勁了千辛萬苦，處心積慮將冤魂趕走，到了午夜，三個武士又出現了，這次是出現在孝恩的房間。
"Uesama oari!" they chanted in one voice again, just like the day before, then the leader spoke: "Our respected general, we have discovered the whereabouts of the traitor Goda, who has reincarnated. However, we can still detect his scent even in his disguise. His name in his current life is called Ueda Ichiro. We will have him pay for his unjust deed before the midnight of tomorrow." Then, they disappeared.
「屋誒撒馬，喔阿哩！」他們又異口同聲的說，接著，領袖開口說：「尊敬的軍官，我們已經找到了叛徒合田的行蹤，他現在已經轉世投胎，但是我們還是能以他的氣味準確的辨別出就是他無誤。他在這一世的名字是『上田一郎』。我們在明天的午夜之前，一定會讓他付出代價的。」說完，便消失了。
Why did the ghosts of the Samurais reappear even though the vase was already burnt? And who exactly is this Ueda Ichiro they were talking about?
究竟為何花瓶都被燒成灰燼了鬼武士仍再出現？還有，到底他們所說的『上田一郎』又是誰呢？
