蒂芬尼敍述完她的噩夢後，孝恩也大約描述了一番自己的夢境。當他講到留著金色頭髮的維多利亞小女孩兒時，大夥兒都頓時陷入了一陣沉思。布萊最終打破了沉默，用著興奮地語氣説：「我想我們夢到的是同一個女孩⋯⋯我夢見了一個女嬰，她的媽媽在生下她後就去世了。後來，女孩兒長大後，有一位家教⋯⋯」

「等等⋯⋯那家教是不是留著滿頭白髮？吼，我的天啊，她看起來好老喔，我還以爲是恁阿嬤咧！」蒂芬尼打斷了布萊後問道，布萊只是點了點頭便繼續説：「從女孩和家教的對話中，我發現她和在船上當船長的爸爸並不親，而女孩也認爲爸爸根本不關心自己。在夢境快結束時，她似乎在一個衣櫥裏找到了一本書，極有可能正是她在尋找的她爸爸的日記。」

「從大夥兒的夢境（包括我自己的在內），我推斷咱們都進入了某一個人的記憶裏，估計就是那個金髮女孩兒的。」布萊述説完後，孝恩總結道。「而且我有預感，她就是破解整個迷團兒的關鍵人物。咱們得好好兒分析這些夢境，絕不能放過任何一點兒蛛絲馬跡。」

突然，布萊發現傑佛瑞已沉默了許久，都不發一語。於是她問道：「小傑哥哥，難道你都没有做夢嗎？」

「嗯⋯⋯我不記得了耶！」傑佛瑞緩緩地説。「可是，那個金髮少女聽起來還挺辣的。妳們説她死於船難？眞可惜，這麼年輕就死了！」孝恩皺著眉頭看了傑佛瑞一眼。

「我是説⋯⋯我也没睡好！」傑佛瑞似乎發現自己不愼失言，於是趕緊想轉移話題。「我感覺自己的胸口好悶、呼吸困難，彷彿有人壓在我身上似的。」

就在大夥兒議論紛紛時，他們殊不知有一位臉色慘白、穿著血紅色衣裳、綁著長辮子的金髮少女正躲在角落暗暗地窺視著他們的一擧一動。

After Tiffany had recounted her nightmare, Shaun admitted that he also had a dream, albeit the content was very different to that of Tiffany's. He described the luxurious dining hall seated with Victorian people and, most importantly, the little girl with golden hair who ran away after Shaun had noticed her. 

After Shaun's speech, everyone fell silent into a deep thought. It was Blythe who eventually broke the silence. "I reckon I've dreamt about the same girl, whom you were both talking about," said Blythe as her voice trembled slightly, from a surge of excitement of being a step closer towards the resolution of the mystery. "I dreamt about a newborn infant, whose mother died on the day of her birth, which was the day of Festivus. Also, she had a governess, who....."

"Wait, does her governess have long, white hair?" interrupted Tiffany. Blythe nodded. "OMG, she looks so frickin' old, I thought she was her grandma, LOL!" 

Blythe ignored Tiffany and continued. "From her conversation with her governess, it seemed to me that the little girl wasn't very close with her father, who seemed to be the captain of this ship, judging by his attire, and she seemed to believe that he didn't love her. Then, towards the end of my dream, she seemed to have discovered something in a wardrobe inside the cabin, but I couldn't distinguish what it was. It appeared to be a book of some sort." 

"From the experience of my own dream and the descriptions of yours, I believe that we've all entered into the memory of someone, possibly that of the girl with golden hair," concluded Shaun after Blythe had finished her narrative. "What's more, I have a hunch that she is the key to solving the mystery of this haunted ship. We need to analyse closely every little aspect of our dreams, we cannot let any potential clues slip through our fingers."

「啊！！」蒂芬尼清楚聽見周圍有人在大聲叫著，她睜開眼睛後赫然發現自己在一艘船的甲板上。在昏暗的燈光下，她隱約看見自己置身人群中。海浪拍打著船的聲音引起了她的注意。當她的眼睛緩緩地適應了微弱的光線時，她發現周圍站著許多維多利亞時期打扮的人。

「我的老天鵝啊，這些人怎麼穿得這麼老土啊？」蒂芬尼心想。突然，一陣比摩天大樓還高的巨浪打在船上。

「救命啊！」蒂芬尼身旁一名穿著白色衣服、手拿陽傘的維多利亞貴婦尖叫道：「咱們得趕緊撤離這艘將沉的船哪！」

「糟了！這該不會是一場船難吧！」蒂芬尼心想。「小傑，你在哪裡？我得趕緊找到小傑。這樣我們纔可以重演一次鐵達尼號啊！」

"Ahhhh!" Tiffany heard distinct noises of people screaming, shouting and crying, she opened her eyes to discover that she was back on the deck of the ship. It was pitch-dark around her, but she could just about make out that she was not alone. Noises of violent tides lashing at the ship caught her attention.  As her eyes gradually became accustomed to the darkness, she discovered herself to be  surrounded by people dressed in Victorian-styled attire.

"OMG, why are these people dressed like this?" Tiffany thought, as huge tides of waves taller than a skyscraper came from all sides, flooding the ship with salty seawater.

"HELP!" someone screamed next to Tiffany. "Pray, someone, get us out of this sinking ship!"

Tiffany turned around to perceive a Victorian lady dressed all in white beside her, holding an overturned parasol whilst trying in vain to keep herself dry. "Yikes! This must be a shipwreck!" Tiffany thought to herself. "Where's Jeffie? I must find him! Without him, how can I re-enact the Titanic?"

那是個寧靜的平安夜前夕，周遭的氣氛彷彿裝飾在聖誕樹上的彩球一樣歡樂地閃閃發亮著。貌似全世界都準備好了要迎接耶誕節的到來。然而，在某艘船上的船艙的一間小房間裏，氣氛凝結，並在極喜與極悲中顯示出

強烈的對比。其喜悦源自於新生命的誕生，悲傷則源自於生命的終結；而且，逝者正是新生兒的母親。

一旁的褓姆正努力地哄著躺在搖籃裏不停哭鬧的女嬰，船長～也就是已故女士的丈夫，默默地站在其妻子躺著的牀邊。

It was a tranquil midnight of Festivus, the atmosphere was vibrant with the mood of festivity and the decorations on the Christmas tree were already glittering merrily. It seemed like the world was ready to embrace Christmas. Nevertheless, in one little room inside the cabin of a ship, the atmosphere was tense, contrasted by two opposing emotions - that of joy and melancholy. The joy originated from the birth of a baby girl and the source of melancholy was the death of a lady, none other than the mother of the newborn. 

The nurse was busily trying to calm the baby, and the captain of the ship, also the husband of the deceased lady was standing quietly beside the bed, on which the body of his wife lay. Inside the cradle, Rapunzel cried endlessly, despite the nurse's efforts to try and calm her down, as if she was also mourning for her beloved mother.

不久後，孝恩突然驚覺自己竟在一間維多利亞宴會廳裏。「我在哪兒啊？」他心想。

他隱約聽到周遭的交談聲和遙遠的海浪聲融成了一個和弦，彷彿搖籃曲一般的使人平靜。「海浪的聲音？！那表示⋯⋯我在船上？」孝恩心想。

偌大的宴會廳內有著五花八門的豪華裝飾，不管是奢華的壁紙，鮮紅色的窗簾還是高檔的波斯地毯，以及天花板上懸掛著的水晶燈都別有一番風味。「這是哪艘船啊？」孝恩好奇地想著。

西裝筆挺的紳士以及穿著晚宴禮服的女士們正伴隨著放置在角落的留聲機所播放的『春之聲圓舞曲』歡樂地翩翩起舞。「看他們的穿着，肯定不是現代人，而是維多利亞時期的人。」孝恩推理著。

After some time, Shaun found himself to be gradually walking towards a Victorian banquet hall. 

"Where am I?" he thought.

In the background, the murmuring of people and the mechanical lapping of the tides mingled in perfect harmony, forming the sweet tune of a soothing lullaby. 

"I can hear the sound of tides, so this must be on a ship out at sea!" thought Shaun.

The large room was furnished with luxurious wallpapers, bright red curtains with a lavish Persian carpet on the floor and a grand chandelier on the ceiling. 

"But which ship is this?" mused Shaun.

Men dressed in suits and women in gowns were chatting away merrily as the music 'Frühlingsstimmen Waltz' was being played in the background by a vintage phonograph. 

"Judging from their attire, this must be in the past - sometime during the Victorian era," murmured Shaun.

「如果咱們要在這兒過夜，就得再找另一間房間。」孝恩答道。「因爲這間房間只有兩張牀，不夠四個人睡！」

「我很好奇樓上是什麼耶！」傑佛瑞説。「不如，我們上樓去看看吧！」

大夥兒走上樓梯，他們的每一步都使木板發出詭異的聲音，孝恩手裏的電子油燈發出的閃爍燈光也將他們的身影投射於一旁的牆壁上，增加了幾分恐怖的氣氛。樓梯的盡頭帶領著他們進入另一間較大的房間，其佈置走的是粉色路線：有著粉紅色雷絲邊的窗簾、在房間的正中央也擺放了一張鋪著紫色絨布牀單的維多利亞紅木牀，在臥室的角落則是放著一張維多利亞貴妃椅以及一張小茶几。他們腳底下鋪著一張豪華的波斯地毯。

「哇！這房間好豪華喔！」布萊讚嘆道。

「而且還非常乾淨！」傑佛瑞説。「感覺起來比樓下的那間更乾淨，彷彿這裡還有人住似的。」

"If we're gonna stay here overnight, we'll need to find another bedroom," answered Shaun. "Since there are only two beds here, it won't be enough for four people." 

"I wonder what's upstairs?" said Jeffrey. "Let's go and find out!" 

The group ascended the flight of staircase leading upwards, with each step, the wooden boards creaked deafeningly and the flickering light coming from the oil lamp casted sinister, dancing shadows on the walls. As they reached the top, a larger bedroom than the previous one came into view, it was decorated with pink, floral-patterned wallpapers and white, lace curtains. Situated in the middle of the room was a luxurious Victorian mahogany bed, with violet, velvet duvets, and on the farthest corner was a Victorian long-chaise and a tea table. Underneath their feet was a posh Persian carpet. 

"Wow, this room is really posh!" admired Blythe.

"And it's surprisingly clean, too," added Jeffrey. "It's even cleaner than the wooden cabin! It almost feels like there's still someone living here."

「布萊，妳之前説這艘船啟航時載著1000名乘客，是唄？」孝恩問道。布萊點了點。「那⋯⋯這麼小的船艙，怎能擠進這麼多人呢？」

「你説的有道理，」傑佛瑞説。「祇是，我不理解爲何這艘船明明外表看起來這麼小，卻容納得了這麼多乘客？」

「不錯！這表示船艙內一定還有別的房間。」孝恩回答説。「很有可能那些維修人員還尙未發現這些隱藏著的房間。若眞如此，那咱們有望透過這樣去瞭解當時究竟有哪些乘客，説不定那個鬼影就是其中一位逝世的乘客的冤魂。」

「啊～冤魂！？在哪裡？哪裡有冤魂？」蒂芬尼在睡夢中聽見『冤魂』這兩個字後立刻驚醒，並在驚嚇中雙腳一踹，把腳上的高跟鞋踢得老遠。她的鞋子打在牆上後發出了「咚」的一聲。

「幹得好，蒂芬尼！」孝恩突然稱讚道。「若我没聽錯，剛剛那是空心牆的聲音。快點兒，這面牆後面一定還有別間房間！」布萊和傑佛瑞聽到了孝恩的話後便開始敲打牆面，試圖找出能開啟祕密通道的機關。

"Wait, did you say this ship had 1000 passengers on board when it first set sail?" questioned Shaun, whose question Blythe nodded in affirmation. "Then, this tiny cabin with only one bed certainly wouldn't be able to fit everyone."

"Your logic definitely makes sense," answered Jeffrey. "But what I don't get is: this ship doesn't look that big from the outside - how can it hold so many rooms?"

"Exactly!" answered Shaun. "So, there must be other hidden rooms in order to accommodate this many people. Perhaps, if the decorations crew have yet to discover these secret rooms, we'll still be able to get an idea of what the late passengers of this ship were like to help us identify to whom that ghost shadow belongs." 

"Aaaah!!! Who said 'ghost shadow'?" Tiffany suddenly woke up from a shock after hearing the word 'ghost'. She kicked her feet in her fright, sending one of her high heels soaring into the air. Her shoe hit the wall on the opposite side of the room with a loud thud and fell to the floor. 

"Great job, Tiffany!" To the bewilderment of the others, Shaun suddenly praised Tiffany. "If I'm not mistaken, that was a hollow sound. Hurry, there must be something behind this wall." After Shaun's words, Blythe and Jeffrey immediately started knocking and touching the wooden wall in search of a hidden mechanism to activate a secret passage behind the wall. 

Not surprisingly, Shaun's hypothesis was proven correct. After Blythe has moved a wooden barrel on the side, the wooden wall suddenly slid open to reveal a secret entrance to a flight of steep stairs leading downwards.

"Aha! Now, I get it!" said Blythe. "They reason why they could accommodate so many passengers in such a small ship was because they put all the passenger rooms below the deck. This is also probably the reason why it did not overturn in the thunderstorm - because the ship's centre-of-mass is really low."

"Bravo!!" clapped Jeffrey. "With this amount of knowledge in physics, I'm sure you'll have no problem getting into the university you want."

"Thanks for the praise, Jeffrey," replied Blythe, smiling modestly. "But, somehow, I don't remember you being one of the examiners in my interview!" Everyone laughed at this response, except for Tiffany, who was sulking at the back, reluctant to explore further, but also not wanting to be left behind. 

Descending the steep flight of steps, the group reached a narrow corridor, at the end of which was a wooden door. The hinges of the door squeaked deafeningly like some animal being slaughtered as Shaun pushed open it, revealing a medium-sized bedroom furnished with two Victorian single-beds, a large wardrobe in one corner and an Oriental screen. On the side of the room was another wooden staircase.

"Wow! This looks very old-fashioned, indeed," exclaimed Jeffrey. "I'll bet that, this time, they're the original furniture of the ship."

 Suddenly, Shaun caught a glimpse of his watch, displaying the time and exclaimed in surprise, "Wow! It's midnight already! How time flies when we're doing investigations."

"It's too late to head back home and there doesn't seem to be any hotels nearby," said Jeffrey thoughtfully. "Looks like we'll have to sleep here tonight."

隨後，大夥兒走向整艘船唯一尙未被他們勘查過的地方～船艙。突然，一陣刺骨的寒風吹向他們，蒂芬尼用顫抖的聲音説：「這⋯⋯這裡怎麼突然變得那麼冷啊！」

"We'd better stay together from now on," concluded Shaun. "We don't know who or what is trying to bring us harm."

After this conclusion, the group of friends headed towards the only place that was yet to be investigated in the ship - the cabin. Suddenly, a gust of bone-chilling wind bit into everyone's skin. "Brrrrr....why is it suddenly so cold out here?" Tiffany's teeth chattered.

忽然間，傑佛瑞聽到一陣摩擦聲從蒂芬尼腳下傳出。「蒂芬尼，那是你發出的聲音嗎？」傑佛瑞問道。

「什麼聲音？」蒂芬尼一頭霧水地回問道。

「就是⋯⋯」傑佛瑞還來不及説完，原本牢牢地綁在下方的繩梯頓時斷掉，突然又不知從哪兒吹來的一陣怪風，使得繩梯在大風中猛力地搖擺著。

「啊！！！救命啊！小傑！趕快來救我！」蒂芬尼一邊驚聲尖叫，一邊拼了命似地抓緊繩梯。

Without warning, Jeffrey perceived a scratching sound coming from underneath him. "Tiffany, is that you making that sound?" Jeffrey enquired. 

"What sound?" replied Tiffany, bewildered. 

"That....." before Jeffrey could finish his sentence, the rope-ladder, which had previously been tied to the bottom of the rope gave way. Then, a sudden, powerful gust of wind started blowing towards them, causing the rope-ladder to sway dangerously in the air. 

"Ahhh! Help! Jeffie, help me!" Tiffany screamed as she clutched tightly to the rope-ladder, hanging onto her dear life.

「咱們去艦橋調查一下，説不定那兒有留下什麼線索，」孝恩提議道。

「你説得對，」布萊點點頭説。「那裡是最有可能留下有關船長訊息的地方。」

然而，抵達艦橋後，他們很失望地發現那裡空無一無～不是在船難時被一掃而空，就是被前來裝潢的人員統統淨空了。突然，布萊用餘光瞄到了一個黑影。但當她轉頭一望時，黑影就立刻消失地無影無蹤了。

「你也看到了嗎？」孝恩小聲地説。布萊不發一與，只是臉色慘白、若有所思地點了點頭。

"Let's go and investigate the bridge of the ship, where the steering wheel is situated," suggested Shaun after their investigation near the fake canons were over. "There doesn't seem to be anything here that's worth a closer examination." 

"Yeah, you're right," agreed Blythe. "If we're lucky, we might just be able to acquire some information about the late captain of this ship there." 

On arrival inside the bridge, they were quite disappointed to discover that the place was completely empty, whether due to the shipwreck or simply wiped away by the decorations crew in oder to refurnish the interior. 

Without warning, Blythe caught a distinctive shadow out of the corner of her eye. She immediately turned around, just in time to catch a faint glimpse of the shadow disappearing into the corridor. 

"Did you see that, too?" whispered Shaun in Mandarin, not wishing to let whoever or whatever it was to understand him and realise that it had been discovered. Blythe only nodded gently, her face was unusually pale and her expression was pensive but alert.

從羅爵先生那兒拿到油燈後，大夥兒便紛紛上船，準備開始勘查。

「大家要小心，這裡有一個縫⋯⋯」傑佛瑞還來不及説完，蒂芬尼就被樓梯間的縫隙絆倒，當場跌了個狗吃屎。

After taking the oil lamp from Mr Rogers, the group alighted the ship using the stairs by the side. 

"Careful, guys, there's a huge ga....." Before Jeffrey could finish his sentence, Tiffany had tripped on the gap between the stairs and the deck, falling face-forward for the second time that day.

歷經數小時的車程，大夥兒終於抵達了目的地。下車後，大家紛紛向公車司機道謝，除了蒂芬尼以外，她對司機扮了個鬼臉。

當他們的踏上柔軟的草地時，映入眼簾的是英國鄉村的風光。綠意盎然的草地被些許的樹點綴著。在遙遠的地平線，溫暖的太陽正漸漸地消失中。

「哇！這裡好美呀！彷彿置身仙境一般！」布萊不禁讚歎道。當公車緩緩開走後，大夥兒頓時感到一陣寂靜。

After several hours, the group of friends finally arrived at their destination. Hopping off the bus one by one, they all thanked the driver, except for Tiffany, who stuck out her tongue and made a face. 

As their feet touched the lush, green carpet of grass, what came into view was the majestically picturesque scenery of the Shropshire countryside, where, dotted here and there, trees scattered all across the landscape. In the faraway horizon, the amber sun was slowly sinking.

"Wow! This feels like a wonderland!" admired Blythe. Only when the bus gradually drove away were they suddenly engulfed by a suffocating sensation of solitude.

傑佛瑞看見布萊被無視，正要見義勇爲，跳出來幫布萊説話時，蒂芬尼突然間説：「小傑，我的敞篷超跑還坐得下另一個人。不如，你坐我的車，我載你一程。不要理他們兩個！走吧～」蒂芬尼説畢便挽著還來不及反應過來的傑佛瑞的手，將他拉向停車場的方向。

「什麼？等一下！這怎麼行呢？」傑佛瑞甩開蒂芬尼的手説。「我怎麼可以這麼没有江湖道義，抛棄朋友呢！除非妳的敞篷車坐得下四個人，否則，我是不可能跟妳走的。妳就自己開車去吧！」

「我想，蒂芬尼姊姊現在應該没辦法開車去囉！」布萊突然緩緩地説。

「妳説什麼？妳這什麼意思？」蒂芬尼用著懷疑的語氣問道。

「妳若不信，妳自己去看看吧！」布萊聳聳肩，並笑著説。蒂芬尼怒氣沖沖地走向她的超跑後纔赫然發現布萊説的果眞没錯～一群鴿子似乎以爲跑車是『廁所』，於是在車子的椅子上留下了一堆『禮物』送給蒂芬尼。

正當蒂芬尼準備尖叫時，孝恩指著迎面而來的公車説：「公車來了！大夥兒，動作快點兒！蒂芬尼，没時間整理了，下一班車可是一小時後呢！」

Just when Jeffrey was about to comment on Tiffany’s rude behaviour, Tiffany suddenly spoke. "Jeffie, my convertible can fit another person, I'll take you there and leave them to take the bus. C'mon, you'll love the ride!" Tiffany grabbed Jeffrey's hand before he had the time to reflect upon this proposal. 

"What? Wait, no!" responded Jeffrey as he struggled free from Tiffany's grasp. "We can't just ditch our friends here! Unless your convertible can fit four people, I won't go with you. You can drive there yourself." 

"I'm afraid Tiffany won't be able to drive there herself either," said Blythe slowly.

"What? Why? What do you mean?" demanded Tiffany with suspicion. 

"If you don't believe me, you can go and check it out for yourself," replied Blythe, trying not to laugh whilst she shrugged. Tiffany stomped towards her convertible only to discover that Blythe was right. Apparently, a group of pigeons thought Tiffany's convertible looked a lot like the loo and have decided to 'release their waste' all over the seats. 

Just when Tiffany was about to cry out in frustration, Shaun pointed at a bus and exclaimed, "Look! The bus is here! Hurry up, guys. No time to clean up, Tiffany. The next bus is one hour later."

「布萊，這位是傑佛瑞・多諾溫，我的大學（不同系的）同學；阿傑，這是李布萊，我來自臺灣的表妹。」孝恩介紹雙方認識。

「你是孝恩哥的同學～那我就稱呼你爲小傑哥哥好了！很高興認識你！」布萊説。

「我終於見到妳了！」傑佛瑞興奮地和布萊握手説。「聽到 Claire 説妳是『天才美少女』後，我就迫不及待地想認識妳了！」

「大家這麼叫我眞的是過獎了！」充滿自信的布萊用著既流利又標準的英文答道。「我其實没有大家想像的這麼完美。」

「聽説妳來自臺灣，是嗎？」傑佛瑞繼續説。「那妳的英文怎麼這麼好啊？難道臺灣人的英文都説得像妳一樣這麼流利？」

「謝謝讚美！老實説，臺灣人的英文程度的確在亞洲是很好的。」布萊答道。「但我算是例外，因爲我就讀的是國際學校，不是普通高中。」

「妳是來英國參加大學面試的，對吧？」傑佛瑞問道。「如果妳不介意的話，可以告訴我妳是申請哪所大學、讀什麼系嗎？」

「我希望下個學年度能在摩比大學就讀物理哲學系。」布萊回答説。

“Blythe, this is Jeffrey Donovan, my friend from university; and Jeff, this is Blythe Lee, my cousin from Taiwan,” introduced Shaun whilst Jeffrey and Blythe shook hands.

“I’ve finally met you!” exclaimed Jeffrey joyfully after the handshake. “After hearing Claire say that you're the ‘pretty genius’ of your school, I simply couldn’t wait to meet you!”

“Oh, I’m sure that’s too much of an exaggeration of which I’m unworthy,” replied Blythe with perfect English and a sense of self-confidence quite uncommon in girls of her age.

“I’ve heard that you’re from Taiwan!” continued Jeffrey, “I’m quite surprised that your English is so good! Are all Taiwanese people as fluent as you in English?”

“Thanks for the compliment. Well, I wouldn’t be honest if I said that all Taiwanese people are as fluent in English as me, as I study in an international school, which requires a different level of English compared to ordinary schools,” responded Blythe. “However, Taiwanese people do indeed have one of the highest average English proficiencies in Asia.”

“You’re here in England for an interview, aren't you?” enquired Jeffrey. “If you don’t mind me asking, which subject and which university are you applying for?”

“Of course!” answered Blythe. “I’m hoping to study Physics with Philosophy at Playmobil University.”

“Oh wow! That’s the university me and Shaun graduated from!” exclaimed Jeffrey as he nudged his friend, “And physics, too – that’s the same as Shaun, though he’s Physics with Astrology.”

“Um, actually, it’s Astronomy,” corrected Shaun.

“Whatever! There’s no difference anyway.....at least for me!” said Jeffrey, shrugging his shoulders. “Both equally difficult, and both something that I, for one, wouldn’t want to study.”

As the group of friends laughed, Jeffrey suddenly glanced at his watch and complained. “Jeez, where’s Tiffany? She’s late again! Can she ever be on time for anything?”

“There she is!” exclaimed Shaun as he pointed at the parking lot.

 Blythe and Jeffrey turned around to discover Tiffany parking her expensive yellow convertible in the car park. “Who drives her convertible to a bus stop to wait for a bus?” commented Jeffrey as he shook his head in bewilderment.



When Tiffany arrived, Shaun introduced his cousin and Tiffany to each other. “Blythe, this is Tiffany – Claire’s ex-high-school classmate; and erm, Tiffany, this is my Taiwanese cousin - Blythe Lee.”

The moment Tiffany set eyes on Blythe, she immediately categorised the latter to be someone that could ‘potentially seduce her Jeffie’, thus starting to regard her with malice. She gave Blythe a sideways glanced and pretended not to see the latter’s extended hand whilst brushing back her hair.

「快點兒～別慢吞吞的！」蒂芬尼看見了 Claire 和 Eliza 後不耐煩地説。「大家都在等著呢！哼～竟敢讓我親愛的小傑等妳們倆！」

她們坐下後纔發現桌上已經擺滿了各式各樣的英式下午茶點心，不僅有英式紅茶、巧克力餅乾，甚至還有五顏六色的馬卡龍。

That afternoon, Claire and Eliza managed to persuade their boss to let them off for the rest of the day and arrived at quarter past four at the café. They entered only to discover that Tiffany has 'reserved the entire café', and the only table was in the middle of the room, where Tiffany, Shaun and Jeffrey sat. 

"Chop-chop, slow pokes!" exclaimed Tiffany impatiently after she perceived Claire and Eliza. "Everyone's waiting for you! How dare you keep ma Jeffie waiting!"

As they approached, Claire and Eliza discovered that the table was already full of desserts, set up for a traditional English afternoon tea, with savory chocolate biscuits and colourful macarons.

"Qu'est-ce que vous voulez? Se perdre d'ici!" hurla Kradula.

Bosko essaya de les frapper, mais tout était en vain, car ils étaient trop nombreux.

Without warning, the ghost, which had helped them, glided into the dungeon through the stone wall, then followed by another, and another. Soon, the vampire couple were surrounded by ghosts. In fact, these ghosts were that of the people of whom the evil couple had drunk the blood. 

"What do you want? Get lost from here!" howled Kradula. 

Bosko tried to flick them away, but all was in vain, as there were just too many of them.

「我知道了，我知道了！」蒂芬尼突然興奮地說。「可拉杜拉公主和御用馬伕的兒子～波斯可從小就是青梅竹馬；可是，可拉杜拉的爸爸，也就是國王不答應他們兩人結婚。於是，可拉杜拉被迫嫁給了又醜又肥的鄰國老國王，好促進兩國的關係。波斯可也被禁止離開自己的國家去拜訪可洛迪雅，因爲國王深怕兩人會去私奔。然而，逐日漸進，可拉杜拉公主的相思病愈來愈嚴重，直到她已没剩幾天能活了。波斯可聽到了這個悲慘的消息後，不惜被砍頭的代價偷偷去看可洛迪雅。但是，一切都太遲了；當波斯可趕到時，可拉杜拉公主已經臥病在床、奄奄一息了。雖然可拉杜拉看到了愛人滿心歡喜，然而，她病入膏肓，此刻也已無力乏天。可拉杜拉用了她最後一口氣與波斯可一起向蝙蝠女神祈禱，並許下誓言要永生永世的在一起；誓言纔說畢，可拉杜拉公主就安詳地死在愛人的懷裏。就在此刻，波斯可被城堡警衞發現，被抓了起來；當天就以闖入王后房間爲由，被處以極刑。可拉杜拉的丈夫（也就是又醜又肥的老國王）因爲同情兩人，決定大發慈悲，將兩人安葬在一起；也在隔天娶了另一個國家的年輕、漂亮的公主。蝙蝠女神聽到了他們的禱告，將其起死回生，變成了吸血鬼，讓他們永生永世都不會再被分離了⋯⋯」蒂芬尼說完故事後，深深地吸了一口氣，並看了看四周，等待大家給予熱烈的掌聲。

"Mon dieu!" Soudainement, Tiffany s’exclama avec enthousiasme. "Je sais! Je sais! La princesse Kradula et Bosko, le garçon d'écurie, étaient des amants, mais la princesse Kradula était interdit d'épouser Bosko par son père, le roi. Plutôt, la princesse Kradula a été obligé d’épouser contre son gré un roi gros, laid et vieux du pays voisin afin de renforcer le lien politique entre les deux pays. Bosko a été également interdit de quitter le pays pour rendre visite à sa petite amie car le roi craignait qu’ils s’enfuient ensemble. Ensuite, la princesse Kradula est devenue malade à cause de son amoureuse, au point qu’elle ne restait que quelques jours pour vivre dans ce monde triste. Après que Bosko eut appris la nouvelle tragique, il risquait d'être puni pour avoir enfreint la loi, il a quitté son pays et s'est rend à Kradula. Mais quand il est finalement arrivé au lit de mort de la princesse Kradula, elle était déjà trop malade pour récupérer, alors, utilisant son dernier souffle, Kradula et Bosko ont prié la Déesse Chauve-souris et ont juré d'être ensemble pour l'éternité, après quoi elle est morte dans les mains de son amant. À ce moment-là, Bosko a été attrapé par la garde du roi et a été pendu le même jour pour se glisser dans la chambre de la reine Kradula. Le mari de la princesse Kradula (le gros roi), qui ne l'avait jamais aimée, a décidé, avec pitié des deux amants, de les enterrer ensemble et, le lendemain, a épousé une autre jeune et jolie princesse d'un autre pays. La Déesse Bat a entendu le souhait des deux amants et les a ressuscités en les transformant en vampires immortels, afin qu'ils puissent enfin être ensemble pour toujours ........ ."
