Chapter 4- Shorengo- A Miniature Wonderland (Part I)

第四章～小人國（第一話）

"Okay, let me get this straight!" Victor, after listening to Richard the Rabbit for some time, became a bit annoyed by his constant mumbling, said. "So you were saying that the Evil Enchanter of the East captured your son and turned you into this......this huge form of a rabbit? Hmmmm.....looks like he is worse than I thought."

「等一下！」維特聽完了兔理查的故事後開始對他不停的碎碎唸感到十分厭煩，然後說：「所以你是說邪惡的東方魔法師將你的兒子抓走了，然後把你便成了這副模樣？哼.......看來他比我想像中的還壞嘛！」

"No, indeed not, Miss Victoria!" Richard replied as he carried Victor's red bag for him. 

「是呀，維多利亞大小姐。」理查一邊幫維特拿著他的紅袋子，一邊答道。

By then, Richard had discovered that Victor's temper and tantrums were worse than him, and in order to thank Victor for saving him from the Snake Faerie, resolved to call him "Miss Victoria" from now on. Actually, it took a while for the giant rabbit to get used to this bad-tempered enormous mouse, it wasn't until a little incident that made him make up his mind. 

理查不久前才發現原來維特的脾氣比自己的還更壞，而且爲了感謝維特從蛇精那裡救了自己一命，便開始稱呼他為『維多利亞大小姐』。其實，理查剛開始也很不習慣這隻壞脾氣的巨鼠，是經過了一件事情後他才決議要如此稱呼他的。

As Victor looked in the direction of Richard's stare, he perceived a woman wearing very few clothing and a green mini skirt walking towards them with a strange smile on her face.

當維特往理查看的方向一望，赫然發現一位穿著極少衣服、和一條綠色迷你裙的女人正往他們的方向走來，臉上還掛著詭異的微笑。

"I sssssee that you have brought your friend to me!" the woman said with a high-pitched voice, emphasizing on her 's'.

「嘶嘶嘶嘶～你還帶了你的朋友來呀？」那個女人說話時發出了奇怪的嘶嘶聲。

"That's no Snake Faerie!" Victor said to Richard, "She's looks very ordinary to me!"

「那才不是什麼蛇精呢！」維特對理查說。「她看起來很正常啊！」

Richard couldn't reply as his teeth were chattering so much.

理查嚇得牙齒直顫抖，根本無法回應維特。

Chapter 3- Rescuing the Giant Rabbit (Part I)

第三章～拯救巨兔（第一話）

It was only the third day since Victor (now Victoria) had started his journey to the East and he was already fed up of it. He was walking on a path on a farmland, being careful to always follow the direction of the sun as the Fairy Queen had indicated, and was complaining to himself again. 

維特的『東遊記』纔進行到第三天，他就已經完全厭倦了。他正走在一個農田的道路上，仔細地確認自己正往太陽的方向前進後，便又開始抱怨了起來。

"My feet hurt so much! If they're gonna tell me to go walk so far, at least they should provide me with comfortable shoes, and not these ridiculous high-heels. I've never known that wearing high-heels could be such a pain for girls! And I can't take them off as I have no alternatives. Urghhhh!" Victor mumbled under his breath as he stomped on the ground. 

「我的腳好痛啊！如果他們叫我走這麼多路，至少也該給我一雙好走的鞋嘛！穿這雙破高跟鞋要怎麼走啊？我以前從來都不知道原來女生穿高跟鞋這麼累！但是我脫了它又沒別的鞋子可以穿！真討厭！」維特邊走邊喃喃自語道。

Suddenly, he perceived a tiny voice coming from somewhere, "Help.....!" The voice said. Victor immediately stopped, glanced around, but was unable to see anyone in sight. 

突然，他聽到了一個細小的聲音從某處傳了出來：「救命呀！」維特馬上停下腳步，四處張望了一番，但是並沒見到聲音的主人。

After Victor has entered the majestic palace of the Fairy Queen, what came first into view was a brightly illuminated hall, and situated in the centre were three dark-haired fairies, floating in mid-air, the one in the middle had a peacock-like crown on her head and was holding a magical staff.

維特進入了仙女王后的魔法宮廷後，首先映入眼簾的是一個既明亮又寬廣的大廳，在其中央有著三位留著黑色頭髮的仙女浮在半空中。位在中間的那位頭上帶著孔雀造型的王冠，手還持著長長的仙杖。

"That must be the Fairy Queen!" Victor thought to himself.

「那應該就是仙女王后了吧？」維特心想。

Then, the Fairy Queen spoke before Victor could say anything, "Hello, Victor! I have been expecting you!" Her sing-song voice echoed in the empty hallway like a beautiful tune.

隨後，仙女王后便在維特開口前說話了：「你好呀，維特！我等你很久了！」她歌聲般的聲音彷彿黃鶯出谷，如同美妙的音樂般在大廳裏迴盪著。

"How.....how do you know my name?" This time, it was Victor's turn to stammer as he was astonished by the words of the Fairy Queen.

「你....你怎麼知道我的名字？」這次，換維特吃驚地說不出話來了。

Chapter 2- Fairyland (Part II)
第二章～仙境（第二話）

It goes without saying that Victor was absolutely petrified. He (or should we say 'she'?) stumbled over to a tree, collapsed onto the soft, grassy ground, and began to cry.

很顯然的維特被嚇壞了。他走到一棵大樹旁邊，跌坐在地上後便開始嚎啕大哭了起來。

After some time, when Victor began to calm down a bit, he perceived a pair of feet, also wearing red high-heels appear. As he glanced up, he saw a fairy-like woman with dark skin and bright pink hair, who has yellow butterfly wings standing next to him.

經過一段時間後，維特也稍稍冷靜下來了，他赫然發現旁邊有一雙穿著紅色高跟鞋的腳。當他沿著雙腳往上一望後，發現一位有著黝黑皮膚、留著亮粉紅色頭髮、背上還長著蝴蝶般翅膀，貌似仙女般的女人站在他旁邊。

After the fairy-like woman discovered that Victor had noticed her, she inquired in a squeaky voice, "Erm....are you alright, there?"

當仙女發現維特注意到她後，她便用小小的聲音問道：「你......你還好嗎？」

Chapter 2- Fairyland (Part I)

第二章～仙境（第一話）

As Victor, now a mouse, scuttled into the hole in the wall, he was completely enveloped by darkness and he couldn't see a thing. However, he didn't stop running. He ran and ran and ran, which seemed like for ages, until he eventually perceived a small speck of bright light at the end of the seemingly never-ending tunnel. Then, as he quickened his pace even more, the speck got bigger and brighter till he was completely out of the long, dark tunnel. 

當變成了老鼠的維特鑽進牆角的洞裏後，他便完全被伸手不見五指的漆黑給包圍了。然而，他並没有因此停止腳步。他跑呀跑的，跑了似乎一個世紀這麼久後，終於發現了在這個彷彿永無止盡的隧道終點有著一個白色的小點點。當他加緊腳步後，小白點愈變愈大，最後，終於完全脫離了隧道。

Chapter 1- Transformation (Part II)

第一章～改變（第二話）

That night, Victor lay on his bed, watching the beautiful full moon, whose bright light shone past the glass of the window onto the young face of its watcher, and thinking about the events of the boring weekday. Suddenly, he remembered the Chinese old lady and thought to himself, "Actually, it won't be too bad becoming a mouse, then, I would be able to go outside and play, know what it feels like to walk and run on all fours, and even view the world in a completely different perspective!" As he was thinking about all the adventures he would have, he gradually dozed off. 

那天晚上，維特躺在床上，一邊望著窗口外美麗的滿月，一邊想著那天所發生過的事。月亮的光線穿過玻璃窗户，照在維特稚嫩的臉上。突然，他想起了早上的那個中國老太太，他心想：「其實，變成老鼠應該也不會是一件壞事兒吧！？如此一來，我就可以偷偷溜出去玩兒，體驗用四肢走路及奔跑的感覺，而且說不定還可以從一個全然不同的角度來觀看這個世界。」他一邊想像著他的歷險，一邊緩緩地進入夢鄉。

Chapter 1- The Transformation (Part I)

第一章～改變 （第一話）

 It was yet another boring Saturday for the ten-year-old Victor at the clinic, whose Saturdays were very different to those of other children. Instead of going outside to play or hang out with friends, Victor had to 'stay and sit quietly' and 'do whatever he wants' in the dental clinic where both his parents work. His father, being a dentist himself, was the owner of the dental clinic; and his mother was the nurse and assistant. 

又是一個無聊的星期六早晨，十歲的維特的星期六總是和其他的孩子有所不同。他不是出去玩兒或是去找朋友，而得『乖乖坐著』在他爸媽工作的牙醫診所裏。他的爸爸自己既是牙醫師，也是這間診所的老闆，他的媽媽則是護士兼助理。

It was the same every weekend for Victor, sitting on an armchair, staring into space, or looking at his parents keeping themselves busy with the clients. As everybody knows, weekends are the busiest days at the dentists'. 

每個週末對維特來說都是一樣的～不是自己一個人坐在單人沙發上發呆，就是看著爸爸、媽媽在那兒忙進忙出。因為，想必大家都知道，週末對牙醫診所來說是最忙碌的時段了。

Just when the raging ghost was floating in a rapid speed towards the absolutely terrified Mr Bruce, Jeffrey spoke, "Princess Patricia, prithee forgive the poor soul, he hast reincarnated, so he couldst no longer remember his past, evil deeds. If it be true thou forgive, thy soul wouldst rest in peace for ever!"

正當火冒三丈的鬼魂正以飛快的速度飄向布魯斯先生時，傑佛瑞開口說：「帕特里夏公主，請您原諒這個可憐的人吧！他已轉世投胎，不記得以前曾經做過的壞事了！若您真心地原諒，您的靈魂便能永遠安息！」

"Didst thou calleth me Princess Patricia? Doth thou knoweth mine true identity? Doth thee not bethink me a malicious witch, like every one else doest?" the ghost turned towards Jeffrey, who had, by now, recovered from his shock. 

「你剛剛稱我為帕特里夏公主？難道你知道我的真實身份？你不和大家一樣都認為我是巫女嗎？」鬼魂轉向傑佛瑞說。

"Absolutely not, I knoweth thy story, my princess. Thou wast a princess who wast accused of being a witch by thy own sister, who eke undone thy appearance in order to marry a prince who hath felt in love with thee. Am I wrong?"

「不，我知道您的故事，公主。您以前曾是一位公主，被自己的姊姊陷害後毀容了，愛您的王子也因而被她搶走了，是嗎？」

After Mr Bruce has finished speaking (and laughing), a mafia-looking, bald man with tattoos all over his body and face appeared. He hauled Shaun up easily as if he had no weight and carried him outside of the little humid room. All the way, Shaun struggled, kicked and yelled but all was in vain, as either way he couldn't stop the tough man, and the fact that he was being tied up didn't help either. 

布魯斯先生說畢後，一個看似像流氓、渾身刺青的光頭男子出現了。他毫不費吹灰之力地將孝恩抓了起來，抬出了那間小小又潮濕的房間。一路上，孝恩猛力的試圖掙脫，他又踢又叫，但是被綁住了的他根本敵不過強壯的刺青男。

"Boss, should I stop him from yellin'? He's getting' on ma nerves!" the mafia said in a gruff voice. 

「老大，我要不要讓他不要叫？他很吵耶！」流氓用著低沈的聲音問道。

"Let him be Sebastien," Mr Bruce responded with a malicious grin on his bearded face, "There's no one around here that can possibly hear him anyways. Might as well let him scream all he can before he can no longer utter another sound. Hahahahahaha!"

「讓他叫吧，賽巴斯丁。」布魯斯先生臉上掛著邪惡的笑容說道。「反正，這附近也没有人會聽到的。趁現在他還能出聲時給他叫吧，等會兒他要叫也没辦法了！哈哈哈哈哈！」

Jeffrey looked on in horror as his friend was lifted onto the cold and mossy stones of the well and, with a mighty push, went into the well. 

驚恐的傑佛瑞眼睜睜看著他的朋友被舉到冰冷、佈滿青苔的井上，然後被用力一推，推入了井裏。

Shaun and Jeffrey slowly opened their eyes only to discover that they were tied up in a small, humid and dark room.

孝恩和傑佛瑞緩緩地張開了眼睛，赫然發現他們手腳都被綑綁了起來，在一間小小、暗暗又潮濕的房間裏。

"Where are we?" Jeffrey replied, touching his aching head, came to his senses first and inquired his friend. "How did we get here? I thought we were investigating by the haunted place."

「我們在哪兒啊？」傑佛瑞一邊摸著疼痛的頭，一邊問道。「我們是怎麼來到這裡的呀？我記得我們不是在那個鬧鬼的地方偵查嗎？」

"It's too dark to make out anything in here!" Shaun, who also had an aching head. "Did we pass out because of the scent of the flowers again?"

「這裡伸手不見五指，根本辨別不出地點！」孝恩說。「難到，我們又被花香給燻昏了？」

"But I thought we wore face-masks!" Jeffrey replied, "I........"

「我們不是有帶口罩嗎？」傑佛瑞答道。「我......」

When they got closer to the place again, they saw the same scene happening before them as before. The only difference is that, this time, they did not faint. Then, suddenly, everything was back to normal, as if nothing had happened. 

他們再次走近那裡後，又再次看到了和上次一樣的景象。然而，這次不同的是，他們没有再暈倒了。突然間，一切恢復了正常，彷彿什麼都没發生過一般。

Both felt the things they saw extremely suspicious, so they decided to split up and look for clues. After some time of close examination, Jeffrey had an astonishing discovery. 

兩人都感到這些事情十分可疑，於是，便分頭進行調查，找尋線索。經過了一番東張西望後，傑佛瑞有了驚人的發現。

"Look what I've found!" he exclaimed in excitement, "This definitely doesn't look that Medieval to me." Jeffrey said as he pointed to a hidden projector concealed by the lush leaves of the trees.

「你看我發現了什麼！」他興奮得說。「這個看起來一點兒也不古老呀！」傑佛瑞指著一臺藏在樹上濃密的樹葉堆裏的投影機說。

After Katrina has finished with her malicious lies, Patricia was immediately escorted outside and dragged towards the nearest well. The Queen screamed and tried to dash to her daughter's rescue, however, she was stopped by the guards. The King, who totally believed in Katrina's words, didn't even look at Patricia, nor did he do anything to help her. As for Katrina, she viewed the horrific scene at a balcony on the second floor and smiled to herself darkly, finally, she managed to get rid of her sister forever! Then, the citizens of the whole kingdom looked on to see the innocent, struggling Princess Patricia pushed into the well, in which she took the last few breaths of air in her life before she was unconscious forever. Afterwards, her body was fished out, and burnt to ashes whilst tied to a crucifix. Whilst the entire citizens of the kingdom cheered for ridding this world of another witch. 

凱崔娜說完了謊後，帕特里夏就被強行押到外面的井旁邊。皇后一直尖叫，並多次試圖衝去拯救女兒，但是每次都被衛兵攔截了起來。深信凱崔娜胡言亂語的國王則是連看都不看一眼帕特里夏，絲毫没有想去救她的意念。至於凱崔娜呢，她在二樓的陽台冷眼觀望著這整個慘不忍睹的過程，一邊暗暗地笑著：她終於把討厭的帕特里夏除掉啦！整個王國的人民都眼睜睜地看著無辜的帕特里夏公主被推入井裏，在井裏掙扎一段時間後，便永遠的斷氣了。然後，她的身體被撈了出來，綁在十字架上，燒成了灰燼。當這些過程結束後，整個王國的人民都歡呼著慶祝他們又消滅了另一個邪惡巫女。

On the next day, the obedient Prince Audrey reluctantly married Katrina in a grand wedding, all the citizens from the Kingdom came to celebrate this wonderful news. 

隔天早上，聽話的奧德里王子和凱崔娜舉行了世紀大婚禮。整個王國的老百姓都前來道賀。

Everyone was extremely happy for Princess Katrina and Prince Audrey, especially the Queen, Princess Patricia's mother, who, despite her lament over her own daughter's ruined appearance, was absolutely oblivious of Katrina's evil plan, and wholeheartedly congratulated the latter. Patricia, on the other hand, held back her tears and sincerely wished them happiness. 

大家都爲凱崔娜和奧德里王子感到開心，尤其是毫不知情自己的女兒是被凱崔娜害得毀容的皇后全心全意地祝福著新娘子。帕特里夏則是搶忍住淚水，誠心誠意的祝福這對新婚夫妻白頭偕老。

In order to not frighten the prince, Patricia covered her now ugly, green face with a piece of black cloth and hastily went downstairs from her bedchamber. On the grande ball before luncheon, Katrina and Patricia met Prince Audrey, who has just arrived to their palace.

爲了不讓王子受到驚嚇，帕特里夏隨便找了一塊黑布遮住變成深綠色的臉孔後並趕緊下樓梯。在吃午餐前的舞會上，凱崔娜和帕特里夏遇到了剛抵達皇宮的奧德里王子。

Katrina, on seeing the handsome prince, dashed towards him and began to make her salutations. "Good morning, Prince Audrey! I hope you have had a comfortable journey? Welcome to our palace, please make yourself at home here. I am Katrina, nice to meet you!" Completely ignoring to introduce her poor sister, who was shyly standing in a far corner, afraid to get close to the prince due to her ruined appearance.

凱崔娜看見了英俊的王子後馬上飛奔過去打招呼。「早安呀，奧德里王子！您昨晚的旅途還舒服嗎？歡迎來到我們的皇宮！我叫凱崔娜，很高興認識你！」凱崔娜完全忽略了因爲被毀容了而感到害羞、站在角落的妹妹。

The Prince, who perceived Patricia, became very interested in her mysterious figure, inquired. "And who is that timid lady standing over there? Will I have the honour to be acquainted with her?"

王子在遠處看到了帕特里夏後，便對這位神秘的角色感到十分好奇，並問：「站在那邊的害羞女子是誰呢？我有這個榮幸認識她嗎？」

Katrina, after glancing backwards at her sister disdainfully, turned to the prince and replied in a soothing tone, "Oh! That's just my younger sister! Patricia, come over here and meet Prince Audrey!"

凱崔娜用不屑的眼神往帕特里夏的方向喵了一眼後，轉過身來對王子說：「噢！她是我的妹妹啦！帕特里夏，還不快點兒過來和王子打聲招呼！」

Patricia gracefully walked towards the Prince and bowed, when she looked up, her eyes and those of the prince met, and they suddenly fell in love with each other at first sight.

That evening after dinner, Katrina sneaked into the kitchen when all the kitchen servants have left and commenced to make a potion that will ruin the appearance of someone by making their skin turn a permanent dirty green colour. 

那天晚上吃完晚餐，凱崔娜趁著僕人們都離開廚房後，偷偷地溜了進去，並開始準備製作毒藥。這種毒藥是專門讓人毀容的，任何人只要喝下了它，皮膚變會永遠變成深綠色。

Whilst she was boiling the potion, she thought to herself, "Don't blame me, hateful Patricia! Who told you to be the real princess when I am not! If I don't do this, whichever prince will definitely choose you over me to be his bride, after all, it is an undeniable fact that you look prettier than me; and even if the prince didn't choose you, Father and that detestable mother of yours will most certainly dissuade him from choosing me, because they know of my true identity. Huh, after I become bride to the prince, I will be able to escape from this repulsive family and my disgraceful past and start a whole new life. Patricia, just you wait and see how I can stop you from standing in my way from obtaining happiness!"

凱崔娜一邊煮藥，一邊想著：「別怪我唷，討厭的帕特里夏！誰叫妳才是真正的公主而我不是呢！若我没這麼做，不管是哪一個王子一定都會選妳當王妃的，因爲，妳長得比較漂亮這件事是無法否認的事實。就算王子没選妳，父王和妳那個討厭的媽媽也會說服他娶妳的，因爲他們知道我真正的身份。哼，等我當上了王妃後，我就可以脫離這個噁心的家庭以及我見不得人的過去，展開新的人生。帕特里夏，妳走著瞧吧！看我如何把擋在我幸福之路上的妳給除掉！」

The generous queen, although extremely angry at her husband, did not punish Daisy at all; instead, she calmly told Daisy that she wished to raise the child as her own, to which the latter, after thinking that her daughter would become a princess, gladly agreed. 

仁慈的皇后雖然對於她先生的行為感到十分憤怒，但是，她並没有懲罰黛西，而是冷靜地對黛西説她希望能把孩子親自扶養長大。黛西因爲想要讓女兒成為公主，於是很樂意地答應了。

Due to her love for children, she was able to forgive the King and Daisy for their mistake and treated Daisy's child just like her own, starting by personally naming the baby girl Katrina.

皇后對孩子的愛讓她原諒了國王和黛西的過錯，她待黛西的孩子如同己出，並幫她起了個名子叫作【凱崔娜】。

After a long, strange dream of Medieval kings and queens and wicked witches, Shaun and Jeffrey woke up to find themselves lying on the ground of the ramshackle, where they met the strange encounters. When they sat up, not only did they find everything to be completely normal with the dilapidated houses and broken windows, but also, the sky was the colour of red and orange, indicating that the sun was about to set.

經過了一個很長，有關中古世紀國王和王后和邪惡巫婆的夢後，孝恩和傑佛瑞醒來發現自己躺在他們看見詭異現象的廢墟的地上。當他們坐起來時，他們不但發現那裡並無反常，房子和窗戶都仍殘破不堪，還有，他們赫然發現天空的顏色變成了橘紅色，代表太陽準備下山了。

"How long have we been lying here?" Jeffrey inquired, holding his aching head.

「我們躺在這兒多久了？」傑佛瑞摸著疼痛的頭問道。

"At least eight hours, if my sense of time hasn't failed me yet." Shaun replied.

「如果我的時間觀念無誤的話，大概有八個小時了！」孝恩回答道。

"Looks like the sun would be setting soon," Jeffrey said as he gradually stood up, "We'd better get back to the hotel, I mean, no one with a right mind would want to stay HERE overnight, right?"

「看來太陽準備下山了。」傑佛瑞緩緩站起來後說。「我們還是趕緊回旅館吧，我是說，應該没有一個正常人會想晚上在這兒過夜吧！？」

Shaun, only too eager to leave this place, stood up and headed back to the hotel with Jeffrey by his side.

老早就急著想回去了的孝恩站了起來，和傑佛瑞走回了旅館。

After Shaun and Jeffrey returned to their hotel room, Shaun went to take a shower first, and Jeffrey, who became more interested in this mysterious case than Shaun was after hearing Mr Bruce's speech, decided to do some research on the topic on the Internet. 

孝恩和傑佛瑞回到旅館的房間後，孝恩就先去洗澡了，現在比孝恩對這個案子更感興趣的傑佛瑞則是迫不及待的上網找資料。

Suddenly, Grandma walked in front of Kim Chi and slapped her on the face. Claire, Eliza and Kim Chi were all extremely astonished by her shocking move. 

突然，阿嬤走向前，狠狠地賞了金織一記耳光。Claire, Eliza 和金織都被阿嬤的舉動嚇了一跳。

"Don't be silly, Chilly!" Grandma shouted, with tears swelling up in her eyes, "Don't make the same mistake again! Don't you know that attempting to change the past is against the law of time travel? If you were caught, even after giving you another lifetime would not be enough for you to stay in jail! I'll do whatever it takes for you to return to your old, and probably sane self again. Chilly, you've changed over the years! You are no longer the innocent girl I knew fifty-three years ago!"

「別儍了，辣椒！」眼睛裏充滿了淚水的阿嬤大叫道，「別再執迷不悟了！難道你不知道試圖改變過去是違反時空穿越的法則嗎？如果你被抓到了，就連再給你一輩子都不夠時間給你坐牢用！我會盡我可能地讓你回到你以前的樣子。辣椒，這些年，你變了！你已經不再是以前那個單純的小女孩兒了！」

"Of course I have changed!" Kim Chi screamed at the top of her voice and broke into another fit of violent sobbing, "Look who made me change! It was all because of you! You......you.....ruined my future!!!!"

「我當然變啦！」金織大聲喊道，隨後便又開始狂哭了起來。「你也不看看是誰讓我改變了！還不都是你！你.......你......毀了我的美好前程！」

"Fine!" Grandma said, "I'll apologise if that's what it takes for you to return to your old self. I'll apologise for everything that I have done unintentionally that might have potentially harmed your weak, little soul! I......"

Just when they were starting to panic, suddenly, Claire said, "Aha! We can use the Gadgets App which the headquarters have recently developed. I knew it'll come in handy some day."

正當他們開始慌了的同時，突然 Claire 靈機一動：「有了！我們可以用總部最新研發的『裝備』APP呀！我就知道哪一天它一定會派上用場！」

Then, she took out her phone, clicked on the Gadgets App, selected the tool she desired, pressed OK, and puff, a rope with a hook attached to one end appeared out of thin air. 

説完，她便拿出手機，點擊了『裝備』APP，選取了想用的裝備，點選『確定』。然後，一條前端有綁著掛鉤的繩子就出現了在他們的面前。

"Wow! Very well prepared, Claire!" the impressed granny admired, "We didn't have this type of technology back then, imagine having to bring all these tools with us on every single mission!" 

「哇！真會妳未雨綢繆呀！」阿嬤讚美道。「想當年我們没有這種科技，像是這種可能會用得上的裝備，每次出任務都得通通背在身上呢！」

Claire flung the rope towards the balcony on the second floor, which hooked right onto it. 

Claire 將繩子一抛，掛勾就不偏不倚地掛在二樓的陽臺上。

"Hurrah!" They all exclaimed in one voice.

「噢，耶！！」她們高興的大叫道。

During their pursuit after Kim Chi, Eliza found some newspaper on Grandma's old car.

當他們緊跟在金織後面時，Eliza 在阿嬤的老車裏發現了一份報紙。

"Famous singer disappeared!" Eliza read out loud, "Recently, a famous singer was reported to have disappeared and she was not the only one. The police forces could not find any similarities between their disappearances except that they've all went to the same Hair Salon, but at different times. Further investigation would be made on this Hair Salon before anything solid could be confirmed."

「明星失蹤案！」Eliza 大聲地讀出來：「最近，有好幾位歌星都接二連三的被發現失蹤了。警方目前還没有查出這些案子相似的地方，除了他們通通都在不同時間曾經造訪過同一家美容院以外，所以必須再做進一步的調查纔能確認這些案子使否跟這家美容院有關。」

"And it's dated April 24th, 1961!" Claire exclaimed, "Which is exactly the date that we've returned to using the time travelling app!"

「日期是1961年4月24日耶！」Claire 大叫道。「正好就是我們用時空穿越軟體回到的那一天！」

Claire, Eliza and Grandma, then followed little Jane, who, after leaving the headquarters, went shopping in the shopping mall with the young Kim Chi. 

Claire, Eliza 和阿嬤跟蹤著離開總部、來到百貨公司和金織逛街的小珍。

"No wonder I sort of felt that someone was following us when we were in the department store!" Grandma whispered as they ducked behind a shelf, just in time to escape little Jane's sight. "In fact, it's us!"

「怪不得我當時總覺得有人在跟蹤我們！」阿嬤説完後，他們便趕緊蹲下來躲在櫃子後面，好險没被頻頻回頭的小珍發現！「原來就是我自己啊！」

Not long after Claire, Eliza and Grandma hid themselves behind a wall, little Jane (or should we say the young granny) appeared! 

Claire, Eliza 和阿嬤躲起來的不久後，小珍（也就是阿嬤年輕的時候）出現啦！

"Hello, little Jane!" Mrs Thompson said, "I will introduce to you your new partner for your new mission. He is on his way and I expect he'll arrive very soon."

「你好呀，小珍！」湯普森太太説：「等會兒我會介紹你這次新任務的搭擋給你認識。他應該很快就會到了！」

"Wow! I didn't know you were a blond when you were young!" Eliza whispered. 

「哇！我都不知道阿嬤妳以前是位金髮美女耶！」Eliza 小聲地説。

"Yes, but your grandpa had brown hair," Grandma whispered back, "Therefore, your mother inherited it from him and you inherited it from your mother."

「是呀，但是你阿公是褐色的頭髮。」阿嬤回答道：「所以，你媽媽從他那兒遺傳到了褐色頭髮的基因，所以你也是褐色頭髮。」

After seemingly to have failed the time travel, they heard a feminine voice, "Holloa there! Are you the ones that came from the year 2015, which I have heard Tom say?"

以為這次時空穿越失敗了的她們突然聽到了一個女人的聲音説：「你們好呀！你們就是湯姆跟我説過要從2015年穿越過來的人嗎？」

The astonished Claire and Eliza turned around and perceived that the source of the voice was from a lady of about 30 years of age, who was standing behind a desk.......no, Tom's desk! What is going on?

驚訝的 Claire 和 Eliza 往聲音的方向望去，赫然發現一位大約30歲的女人站在湯姆的桌子後面！現在究竟是甚麼情況？

Claire and Eliza soon arrived at the headquarters with Eliza's granny. 

Claire 和 Eliza 很快地和 Eliza 的阿嬤一起來到了總部。

After Eliza closed the video-calling application, her grandma inquired, "Who was that on the phone, he seems to be a very serious person!"

Eliza 關閉了手機上的視訊軟體後，她阿嬤便問：「那是誰呀？怎麼感覺起來那麼嚴肅？」

Just when Claire was about to explain some sort of excuse which she had been desperately thinking about during the duration of the video-call, Eliza exclaimed: "Gran, I have something that I have to tell you, which no one else knew about. In fact, Claire and I are working as secret spies for an organisation." Then, Eliza explained briefly every mission that they've had so far, including their current mission, which Tom had just explained to her in the video-call. 

正當Claire準備要講一套她剛剛努力想出來的説詞時，Eliza 回答説：「阿嬤，我有一件事情要告訴您，這件事情没有其他人知道。其實，我和Claire都是秘密間諜組織的嬌娃。」然後，她便跟阿嬤大約的敘述了一下他們之前的任務，以及剛剛湯姆才告訴他們的這次任務的内容。

Claire and Eliza soon arrived at Eliza's home and invited her Granny, who was already standing outside the door, in to the house. 

Claire 和 Eliza 很快地趕回家，並請站在外面等的阿嬤進來家裏坐。

Eliza's granny was an elegant lady with short, white hair, and a benevolent expression, from which one could easily tell that she was a beautiful girl in her younger days. 

Eliza 的阿嬤是一位優雅的老太太，留著短短的白髮，臉上永遠有著仁慈的笑容。雖然歲月不饒人，但從外觀可以明顯看出她年輕時也曾是位大美女。

One sunny morning, Eliza, who was currently on study leave, was helping her mum setting up the breakfast table. Everyone was in a hurry to get to work (or school for Eliza's younger brother), so her mother was very stressed. 

一個晴朗的早晨，正在準備考試的Eliza正在幫她的媽媽準備早餐。大家都在趕時間，上班的上班，上課的上課，所以媽媽非常緊張。

"For crying out loud! This is just ridiculous!" Eliza's mother cried, "How did this pie get burnt? I'm sure I've set the right time for the oven."

「我的天啊！這實在太離譜了！」Eliza 的媽媽大叫説：「這個派怎麼會烤焦了呢？我確定這次烤箱的時間没有設定錯誤呀！」

"Don't worry dear, we still have bread! That's more than enough for breakfast." Eliza's dad replied calmly, as usual.

「親愛的，別擔心！我們不是還有麵包嗎？早餐吃這些就夠啦！」Eliza 的爸爸冷靜得回答道。

During the Lunar New Year holidays, I have decided to customise my 4250 Royal Palace and extend its floor space so more furniture could be fitted in there. 

春節假期，我把4250皇宮做了一些改造，將其擴大，如此一來就可以擺更多傢俱啦！

Front view~~ the dome-shaped roof makes it look a bit Arabian.......

Time flies, day after day, in a blink of an eye, one month had passed. It was a sunny morning, Gerald went out to pick some flowers for his mother, in order to cheer her up. 

時光飛逝，日復一日，轉眼間，一個月過去了。一個晴朗的早晨，傑瑞德出門去採點兒花朶兒給他的媽媽。

Without warning, the ringmaster opened the door of the wardrobe. However, fortunately, it was not the place that Gerald had hid.

突然，馬戲團團長打開了衣櫥的門。不過，幸運的是，那不是傑瑞德躱的那一邊。

Whilst sitting on the cab on the way to the city centre, Gerald quietly observed the movements of Doctor Johnson, whom he noticed to have a strange way of glancing around him all the time, as if afraid of the sudden appearance of someone or something.

傑瑞德坐在計程車上偷偷地觀察強生醫生，他發現那個人有一個奇怪的動作，就是喜歡東張西望，似乎害怕某人或某樣東西會突然出現一般。

Suddenly, Gerald noticed that the cab passed his old home, and he quickly reacted, "Excuse me, sir, please stop the automobile, we've gone past my house!"

突然，傑瑞德注意到計程車已經開過了他以前的家，於是，他趕緊說：「先生，請您停一下車。已經過我家了呀！」

Neither the driver nor Doctor Johnson seemed to have heard him, Gerald was about to jump down from the automobile when Doctor Johnson grabbed his arm harshly and whispered sharply, "Zip it and come with me back to the circus or I'll beat you up." 

當他發現司機和強生醫生都似乎沒有聽到他的話時，傑瑞德正準備跳車，突然強生醫生用力地抓住他的手臂，並小聲的說：「把你的嘴閉上，跟我一起回馬戲團，不然就走著瞧！」

Gerald's face turned pale, but he quickly shouted, "Help! Please help me, sir! This man here is trying to kidnap me!"

One sunny morning, three years after his first arrival at the Noir's place, Gerald received an anonymous letter that requested him to return to London. Despite being in an ecstasy of joy to be able to return home, Gerald was a bit bewildered as the war still hadn't ended.

距離傑瑞德第一次踏入諾媧家大門三年後的一天晴朗的早晨，他收到了一封匿名信，要他趕緊返回倫敦。雖然傑瑞德爲這件事感到很開心，但是他不禁覺得十分疑惑，因爲戰爭尚未結束。

When Gerald returned to the home of the Noirs, he took up his courage and knocked on the door. Whilst waiting for someone to answer the door, Gerald closed his eyes and took a deep breath, getting himself ready for the horrible insults he expected Mrs. Noir would shout at him as she opened the door, and he prepared himself to apologise for something that wasn't his fault.

當傑瑞德回到諾媧家後，他鼓起勇氣走向前敲門。在等待有人來開門時，傑瑞德把眼睛閉上、深深的吸了一口氣，準備好接受諾媧太太對他的任何辱駡，並且要爲不是他做錯的事情道歉。

On the next day, Gerald, Daniel and the two Bennett brothers- Frederick and John went out to the forest to play football. 

隔天一早，傑瑞德、丹尼爾、以及班內特兄弟一行人就前往森林踢足球。

The Bennett brothers were extremely friendly to Gerald, and they had a lot of fun after playing for the entire morning.

班內特兄弟對傑瑞德都非常友善，所以，他們愉快的玩了一整個上午。

Gerald's best friend- Daniel was playing football with the children from his evacuated family.

傑瑞德的好朋友～丹尼爾正在和他被疏散後的新家人的小朋友在踢足球。

"John! Pass the ball to me!" Frederick, who was about the same age as Daniel, shouted to his younger brother- John, who had just started playing football recently, so he was not very skilled at it. 

「約翰，把球傳給我！」年紀和丹尼爾一樣大的佛瑞迪對他才剛開始學踢足球，所以球技還不是很好的的弟弟～約翰說。

With a kick, John accidentally passed the ball to Daniel, who wasn't paying much attention as he was admiring a pretty bird, which was perching on a tree nearby, instead of the original target- Frederick. The ball went passed Daniel. 

約翰不小心將球踢偏了，本來要踢給佛瑞迪的，卻踢給了專注在觀看旁邊樹上美麗小鳥的丹尼爾。於是，球便從丹尼爾身邊飛過。

Pointing her bony finger at Gerald, Mrs. Noir shrieked aggressively, "You clumsy boy! How dare you break my favourite vase! Did you know how precious this is? This comes from my ancestors who were once rich enough to buy this valuable Chinese Blue-Porcelain Vase, which was imported all the way from the Chinese Qing Empire, that dates back to the late 1700s. Do you know what a piece of artwork it is?" her nostrils flared and eyes flash angrily, "And now, it's destroyed by your barbaric hands!!!!"

諾媧太太用她那細細的手指著傑瑞德，憤怒的大駡：「你這個笨拙的小孩，竟敢打破我最愛的花瓶！你知道這有多珍貴嗎？這是從我的祖先那兒代代相傳的傳家之寶呀！以前，我的祖先可是很富裕的～近兩百年前，他們遠從中國的大清帝國進口了這個青花瓷。你知道它是一個多美的藝術品嗎？」說到這裡，諾媧太太的眼睛便瞪得好大。「現在，居然被你這雙粗鄙的手給摧毀了！！！」

"I am extremely sorry, Mrs. Noir, however....." Gerald apologised.

「我非常抱歉，諾媧太太，可是......」傑瑞德道歉說。

"What's the use of you being sorry?" the frustrated Mrs. Noir bellowed at the top of her voice, "The vase is already broken, nothing can repair it's former beauty! And what else do you have to say? However what?"

「你抱歉有甚麼用？」生氣的諾媧太太破口大駡道：「花瓶都已經打破了，難道它還會回復它原本的容貌嗎？你還有甚麼話要說？可是甚麼？」
